Best case - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

Hi i am going to buy this nice phone in few days and i was wondering which case will be the best for me. I really like the original design of the phone but dont like this flip cases like s view ( in my opinion they are not comfortable for use correct me if im wrong). On the other side. There is the spigen ultra fit case but im not sure if it gives a good protection. So can you give an advice please?
Thank you!

I recommend the S-View Case and Back Case.
The quality is OK . I am quite satisfied with the case so far.

I have just purchased Holster case for my N3 and its really a nice experience to have this case on my phone....I got it from Amazon...so you can just check it out...its a bit pricey but cost worthy too...So I like this case

Everyone has their own opinion and preference when it comes to phone cases and the one I got was the Spigen Bounce http://www.spigen.com/galaxy-note-3-case-bounce.html . I had originally ordered this case because it is was inexpensive and one of the few that was actually available when I got my Note 3 on October 3. I got it so I wouldn't have to go "naked" while I waited for something better to come out. I'm so pleased with it that I see no reason to get a different one at this point. This case adds almost nothing to the thickness of the phone and I definitely feel like it's well protected. I also happen to think it looks nice.

if you want to keep it thin, this was the best case i could find to keep the "hand feel" of the phone.

I had the spigen slim armor and to tell you the truth, it isnt very slim.

I have a black Note 3 and have tried 3 cases.
The 1st one was the OEM S View Flip Case, which I returned without even putting it on the phone...
Next was Seidio Surface Case w/metal kickstand. Nice two piece case, but very hard to remove
from the phone once you have it on. Returned it
The 3rd case was the black Experience Case by Cruzerlite. This is a nice slim case and its what I'm using now.

Thanks.

Thank you for the replies! Now i'm going to decide between this 2 cases: spigen bounce and ringke slim

Best flip case for the note?

I have the little flip case right now, but it doesn't provide much protection. What would be a good flip case for my note?

Somebody else posted this in the other flip case thread, might be of interest to you. The front of the flip cover seems to be exactly the same, but the back of it is an actual case that will protect your Note more.

I don't think that one will fit the AT&T version. Someone else might have to verify that, but it says it's made for the International version.

I bet it does fit, as im pretty sure the discrepancy in size was probably an error in either measurement or conversion between metric and standard units. Every case people have bought for an international note so far has fit the at&t one, even the zenus capsule case, which is hard plastic.
The only things that do not work are replacement battery covers due to the difference in the location of the tabs, which what i linked to is not a battery cover.

I ordered one in red as soon as it gets here (which may be a while) I will verify if it fits the American version
just an update im still waiting in this case It has been over 4 weeks now and still no case
Finally got the case it does fit the American version
I've got this one on the way, http://kevikev.com/Yoobao-Executive-Leather-Case-Folio-for-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-LCSamNoteE.htm. I know someone that got it and he really likes it.
I ordered this one... hopefully I will like it.

I ordered this one, and while it's a bit expensive, it looks, feels, and is really nice.

I got my wife the tridea case from ebay, its pretty nice and offers better protection than most flip cases around the sides.
I got this case on amazon. Its the Khomo Executive flip case and I can honestly say that it's by far the worst case that you could spend (little) money on. it offers almost no protection aside from the soft felt stickers on the inside. its made from really cheap hard plastic and only snaps around the edges. after putting the phone in it the for the first time, i set it on a white painted bookshelf. it immediately took white paint transfer barely sliding it across the shelf. Im sure if i left phone in there much longer it would have transferred black scratches to my white Note. It barely closes shut and front flip overlaps the edges too far. Worst of all in the design of this is that it covers the volume key. One drop in this case would probably crack the plastic edges and break the phone. Ultimate fail case!!!

Was that meant to be helpful? There isn't always a correlation between price and quality. Most of us look for good quality at a good price.
I think the case looks nice. It's a shame it is so cheap and unuseful.

That's exactly what I was going for...good quality for a good price. It looked like what I wanted. And that would be a slim tough flip case that could handle a drop or fall and protect my phone. Sadly, this wasn't it, I'll keep trying to find it. I've got a quality case which is my daily but would like a flip style w/o the bulk.

Have you looked at the cases here, http://kevikev.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-Cases-Batteries-Accessories_c24.htm. I just got one of each and will be doing a review. I can tell you they seem to be nice quality at a reasonble price. Shipping is fast. And the look is great.

looks nice! Executive and slim?
I know leather would be more scratch resistant but I've always felt the otterbox plastic/rubber was more drop proof!
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk
Yeah. The Executive is all leather. Gives good protection but not as stiff.
The Slim has a hard shell and leather overlay. Better protection but more stiff. The Otterbox is excellent protection but more bulk. Depends on what you are looking for.

Exactly! otterbox should make a flipcase. And a slim one at that. Let us know what you think of these. I might have to forgo plastic for leather. If the slim leather fits well with nice corner protection, I'll be buying next.

Can anyone suggestion one interesting case

I bought new one Note 3, and wanna some interesting protective case for it. Can anyone suggestion some?
Thanks
Depends on what you want a soft case or a hard case. Personally with my experience this phone is so big that the smaller the better. I prefer the .3 mm cases on Ebay. But the Spigen Neo Hybrid is a sexy case but can get uncomfortable in the hand after a while. The Caseologic cases are nice and not too terribly bulky and feel like a leather material. Spigen also make a simple TPU case that is decent. The S View cover or knockoff comparable is also decent but basically like not having a case all together if dropped.
Be more specific to what you want and I can throw some more out.
I recently ordered the Iron Man case for my note 3 from Brando shop. They are currently offering free shipping. http://shop.brando.com/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-3-MARVEL-Iron-Man-3-Iron-Patriot-Protective-Case_p10319c1616d011.html

Well If you are looking for a belt clip case so that it can make you feel comfortable at your work place and you can also enjoy the media viewing too......then I would highly recommend this shellster belt clip case for N3 as personally I am using this case from last 3 months and believe me the quality of the case is very impressive and moreover the belt clip is the sturdiest one I have ever used....so you can check out

I just received the Spigen Neo Hybrid today from amazon. Very nice!! Sharp looking case....didn't add too much bulk. After I purchased I read some people think it adds too much bulk so I was worried. Once I received it, I am happy I went with it.

Spigen Bounce Case

Just ordered this off Amazon for $10 and I have to say that this is an amazing case. The fit and feel is second to none and I like the angled corners of the case. It has a nice rubberized finish and fingerprints don't show. I'm getting used to the design on the back...I wasn't a fan at first. I think anyone would be happy to have this in their case line-up.

I wonder which one is heavier bounce case vs ultra slim fit case ?
That looks impressive ... but not as well as NEO one (In my mind)

I have the bounce case and its great. Its not to thick, provides enough protection and covers the volume and power buttons. Works great and with a good price.
i'm digging this case too. I only dropped this phone while I was running, it slid on the front of the phone for 5 feet and didn't get a scratch or crack.
I dropped this phone a few times with this case. No damage. The case is a typical tpu case but with a nice design and pattern.

Case decision...

Hey guys.
I bought myself an LG G3.
I wanted to get a nice case for it.
I was looking forward for the Supcase Beetle Pro. It looks really nice in my opinion, so millitary and stuff but it's too expensive for me :/
I found those:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/For-..._73_74_75,searchweb201644_5,searchweb201560_9
http://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...G-G3-D850-back-cover/1567014_32408955311.html
I would like something that'll be nice looking and provide nice protection. Also I hope that the case won't prevent me from adding an additional lens or something
Hope you'll help
hm, this isnt too expensive, see:

and i think this look better than those two you have post.

Ok so here it is, The SUPCASE Premium Hybrid:
Ok, So The case is awesome. I bought it in Poland on an auction site. But you can get those at their official website.
The case is basically a bumper with a frosted transparent back. It has a nice lip on the front so you don't have to worry about scratching your screen. Keep in mind I have an layer of tempered glass on the screen so the lip without it will be bigger. The case is slim, for me it's not making the phone bulky or something. I preffer it over the Nillkin bumper and all those ugly uncomfortable flip covers.
I also made some additional stuff to get the whole effect. I printed out one of my favourite patterns which is BAPE camo.
I made some rough measurements and then cut it out with a modeling knife, did some detail cutting and the final effect is shown above.
That Verus case is fake. AliExpress isn't a good place to get anything in my opinion. Yes it's all dirt cheap, but how well do you think it's going to hold up for that price? Look on Amazon for an authentic Verus case. They're like $16. I have one and wouldn't rather have anything else

Ultra thin case

Has anyone found an ultra thin case like a Calicase or Peel?
so far i can't find one. i loved the offical LG case for the nexus 5x. it was basically a cover for the back and had cutout on the bottom. all i want is to protect the back from scuffs. don't need a big case.
I'm holding out for the Ringke Slim to come out for the Pixel. It's been a perfect slim case for my old Nexus 5, Nexus 5X, and then the 6P.
I'll be using the Pleson TPU case in the mean time.
I ordered a pleson from amazon. It features some sort of dots on the back to prevent sticking air bubbles patterns. Get get on my s6edge with tpu cases today. We'll see how it holds up.
I've been looking for a thin case myself. I just put my Pixel into this case a few minutes ago:

I was skeptical because of the top and bottom which typically are nonexistent on these types of cases but I'm very happy.

I was looking at this case last night! Looks like the Ringke Slim, which I've had in the past and loved. Was it tight when putting it on? My only concern with these kinds of cases is scraping the edges of the phone when putting it on/taking it off.

I just popped it out and back in to see and no it didn't seem to be too tight. I don't believe this is a concern. The edges of the case are also rounded and have a soft matte type of finish.
Good case option from Amazon
If you need a quick case at a good price, try this one out. I ordered it in advance. It isn't that special but does the basics. I think it is slim, but not ultra slim. Check it out until more cases hit the market. Different colors and styles are available.
Search amazon for this name and brand. $7.99 shipped:
Google Pixel Case, DGtle [Shock Absorbent] Anti-Scratches TPU Gel Premium Slim Flexible Soft Bumper Rubber Protective Case Cover for Google Pixel (Smoke Black)
What I need is something like the custom live cases from Google, but not at $50 CAD. I have a Spigen thin fit on my 6P and I'm looking for something similar, but not clear.
what you guys are listing and talking about are thin cases, OP is looking for ultra thin cases, like the orzly flexslim series:
http://orzly.com/products/flexi-slim
I hoping they will come out with one for the pixel too, these are really just for scratch protection and will offer literally no drop protection, its similar to having a slim on your phone but more flexibility as you can just put it on and take it off easily.

i'm hoping to go with just a bumper case around the outer edge, because this phone is a beauty and i dont want to cover it up! that said, if i did get a full case and wanted to keep it relatively slim, i'm probably go with the diztronic matte slim case. i have one on my 5x, and it's been not only great at protecting on minor falls and bumps, but has held up extremely well over time. couldn't say enough about that case. looks like amazon currently has it available for purchase, but it's not shipping until 11/4.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that's actually exactly the case I have on right now. What I meant was a case with open top, open bottom and open buttons. But not clear.
There seems ot be some confusion on what an "Ultra thin" case actually is. let me help you guys better understand this, and why android people want huge clunky cases baffles me, but coming from a lifetime of androids, then switching to a 6s, and having a fantastic case experience... this is annoying.
This is an ultra thin case:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JH87ZSQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Notice the use of factory buttons, it does not cover the bottom of the device, yet still wraps the corners so if dropped is protected. so far the closest I have found on amazon for my Pixel is this case from this thread:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M3MQCG0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Which I ordered, and will arrive Thursday.
If there are plastic buttons that cover up the factor buttons that stick out of the case, it's safe to assume it's not an ultra thin case.
Just got that one by Maxboost and I can confirm its definitely the thinnest "case" out there right now. It's definitely a shell more than a case, and it's a bit slick, but overall I think I'm gonna stick with it. I used some fine steel wool to give it some grip, and it feels better IMO.

Bingo bingo. People don't seem to get it. I settled for the maxboost also but it looks like decent space between the camera and the case worrying me. Calicase and peel are the leaders IMHO in this thin case space. Just no love for the pixel.
