[MOD][GUIDE] Make Proper transparent statusbar in Xperia Lockscreen - Xperia Arc Themes and Apps

Well, what the title said.
Properly make the transparent statusbar on lockscreen show lockscreen wallpaper instead of homescreen wallpaper
Just one thing, your statusbar must be transparent!
What do you need:
*Decompiling/Recompiling Knowledge
*Apktool
*Smali knowledge
*Transparent Status bar (To show the effect)
*Xperia U/Sola on ICS (Tested on Sola only, but it must work on U too)
*Android.policy.jar
*Patience
First. Decompile android.policy.jar and edit com/android/internal/policy/impl/KeyguardViewManager.smali using Notepad++ or similar program
Then search for this method
Code:
.method public declared-synchronized show()V
Change this code
Code:
0x10100800
To this
Code:
0x10100900
Alternative step, for those who can`t find the above code!
Change this code
Code:
0x100800
To this
Code:
0x100900
Then save and recompile android.policy.jar
sign it like you usually do, then put it into the framework folder in the zip provided below, as it include the properly resized lockscreen

How can I make the status/notification bar full black? I have successfully followed your guide and now wanted to make another version but with black.
I have a transparent SystemUI but want a black notification bar on lockscreen as on Z1 4.3 update.

Don't 4.3 still have transparent Statusbar?

I will double-check. :good:
You were right, 4.3 JB does indeed have transparent lockscreen.
Lockscreen image quality(dithering?) seems lower in your attached apk.

@TakuyaZ
Could you please make Z1 4.3 styled lockscreen with permanent hint text? At the moment, it disappears after 3 lock/unlocks.
Thanks

You could decompile using z 4.1.2 framework and then modify it yourself tho :3

[MOD]Tickled serajr SystemUI...Version 2!

This is my first thread since becoming a Recognized Themer. So I thought I might as well theme somebody else's hard work..
You all know the great work that serajr has done, making his tabbed SystemUI's. Well, this is my take on his version 7.1.
Actually, this is my second take on his work. I've now made it that little bit better..

}
To find out what serajr has done, click here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1762162&highlight=date
I've made some changes to match what I've done to the stock UI.
modified statusbar:
merged WiFi and signal icons, moved to left side of statusbar
notification icons in centre of statusbar using the latest method in my center clock thread.
battery icons removed
battery text and status icons on right side of statusbar
battery charging icon
press on battery text to see recent app's
clock with seconds in expanded screen
press on clock to see toggles and sliders
carrier label above date
press on carrier label and date to clear notifications
analogue clock at bottom of expanded screen
text removed from sliders and toggles
'Me' picture removed from toggles
To use this, just install the zip from the below zip in ClockworkMod Recovery. The zip uses the Universal Flasher Tool, which makes a flashable backup on your sdcard. Very handy if you don't like what I've come up with!
BUGS:
Not all options in the preferences app will do anything. This isn't a fault, it's just the way I've themed things.
There are now two carrier labels. The one above the date will always show. Select 'Show Carrier Label' in the SystemUI Preferences screen and another will show on top of the analogue clock. Try not to do this...it looks silly!

Like it? Let me know!
Don't like it? Let me know as well!
...reserved 'cos you never know...
Reserved for future additional instruction.
...also reserved...
Probably best I don't reserve any more before this starts getting silly...
If I don't like it. I can reflash the flashable backup?

No.. That's my fault for typing in a hurry.
Basically, when you flash the zip, a backup is made in a folder on your sdcard called 'UniversalFlasher'. Flash that zip to get back to normal.

Hey, Great App! I was looking for that, but I have a few suggestions/bugs. Please fix them:
-You can't customize the Navibar, only use default.
-When You scroll the Navigationbar completely down, it doesn't show the Background from the Navibar (It's black). Intsead it shows still the wallpaper. You should make it then black.
-When you are in the Lockscreen the Navibar shows the Wallpaper from the Desktop. You should fix it like showing the Wallpaper from the Lockscreen or showing the default color without Transparency (black).
I hope you can fix this. Looking forward to it!!! Keep going! :good:
@DatJoe
for toggle customization:
check the link I have posted before
download the zip from link
extract it
copy togglesettings.apk and settings.apk to system\apps
set permission -rw-r--r--
reboot.
to change toggles, go to settings->display

im not sure if this will work as I dont know what changes you have made but if you want the volume sliders under the toggles you can try putting within the linear layout for the toggles
<include layout="@layout/quickpanel_quick_settings_space" />
(as long as you include the ids and so on if you have changed it from mine)
And you can include the colour changer app as I think you havent edited the tracking or the line in status_bar.xml
Actually i have completed my work

I have tested it
flashlight now works
you cant scroll up fully to the bottom row of toggles
Im not sure why you have changed the status bar background to a transparent png - If it was based on mine, mine included the colour changer app where you could set the colour and transparency of the status bar to what you like
everything else seems to work fine including the reboot to recovery option

Because I don't have mdpi device so I can't make it for you. You need to do it on your own.
You need DdcCabuslay's Z1 framework-res.apk and SemcGenericUxpRes.apk to decompile and recompile it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433590
If it still doesn't work, I will make it but you need to test it for me. I need someone to tell me layout problem.

That's strange. I use the same way to remove am/pm. Change number back to 0 should add am/pm back.

Here's my attempt to make Z1 themed SystemUI look like Z2. I made it in my free time, but it will not hurt to post it here I think.
Based on Xperia Z1 themed SystemUI from DdcCabuslay's Xperia Z1 Theme.
There are still things to do, like tabs.
