(General Question) OPTIMUS ONE IS YOUR PRIMARY PHONE ? - Optimus One, P500, V General

How many of us still using optimus one as a primary phone ?
I am using it as my primary phone
How about you guys ?
I think if most of the people are using it as a secondary device , so they will not care much about whether optimus one gets android 4.4 or not .
If you have another primary phone
Do mention in your post ..
And i also want to count that how many active p50X users are here on xda so please atleast post something so i can count ..
Sorry if this thread irritated you

Me too! ... Until Sony or Google release a flagship with a removable battery lol  (i really like their smartphone)
BTW, it seems like Android's been having battery draining problem since 4.2 (at least from my own experience with my devices ). Every time i look up for new phones i find out that this effects lots of users which is really annoying . I think i'll wait until a really good new android version comes out. Hopefully KitKat

This p509 is my only phone. But it runs on T-Mobile (mvno) and I'd like to use at&t for better signal when I travel. Maybe I'll get a Phoenix, lol.
Edit: Ok, a little more. I got this phone from my daughter, when she upgraded. I had been using straight talk mvno (at&t), and since this is a T-Mobile phone, I ordered a sim card to get high speed data. So it cost me a whopping $15. And I get "unlimited" everything for $45/month. Cool huh?

YES! It is my PRIMARY Phone and I am proud to have this still as Primary Phone. I feel happy to announce that this phone served and delivered all of my aspirations in mobile technology. The credit goes to all the great developers served for us.
I pray and thank to developers in Advance for keeping this alive even with KITKAT 4.4 also.
Please count on... as it is endless.

He's like kaiser soce - poof, he's gone... I used the Ariel ROM on my SGS3 and it was the best of the (tons of) stock-based ROMs. He put it up and after a few tweaks, that was about it. As was said earlier, he didn't seem to care much about making an update just to add a minor feature. Once it was solid, he let it be.
I just picked up an LGOG last night and am definitely flashing this ROM.
As long as he comes back and makes a JB version of The Base (once we get JB), I'll be happy.

Should I get a Galaxy S III??

So I'm coming from a Samsung Infuse, and honestly, this phone cannot piss me off even more than I already am. I'm talking about constant resets (stuck power button), terrible GPS reception, UNBEARABLE LAG even with the latest paranoid android, and finally, messed up APN settings which bares the phone useless since I can't have any service on it! So now you understand of my struggles with my current phone. I'm in search for something that I can rely on and won't have even the slightest bit of lag after 2+ years of owning it.
Now, I've been doing some research on some phones (gs3, htc one x, htc one, gs4) And I come here to find out your honest opinion on the GS3 since the time you've owned it. Should I save some cash buying a GS3 or a One X, or are there some sort of problems with these phones that have ticked you off that I should consider paying the extra buck and looking at the 2013 flagships instead?
I would suggest the SIV over the SIII..

OP, if I were you, I'd wait until the S4. Not because the S4 is a good phone, we don't really know. But because I'd like to know if the S3 sources are to be released. Otherwise, stay away from exynos.

If you really want an S3, what about the I9305? 2G RAM! If you can afford a G4 go for that instead, if cash is tight perhaps a second hand G3. Should be a few out there soon cheap, when people have upgraded.

If you can get the S3 for a gooood price, get it and install SlimBean no lag at all stable as rock. Faster then a n4

I'd recommended waiting for the S4. The S3 is a great phone but at least you'll be future-proof with the Galaxy S4 (in terms of updates, camera, display, and RAM). That's quite a lot of things!

Yeah it's a drawback, one I would find myself very hard to live with, but I would make compromises. I love that my S3 is capable of reading sdcards but I would easily give up that for something that runs lovely aosp as awesomely as the Nexus

S3 have bad multitasking management, huge delay when you open dialer, mms and galery app.
I have spent lot of hours to fix these issues thanks to xda devs. It is a good phone (huge battery removable, good screen, ext sd card, powerfull) with a bad programmation.
I advise you a nexus one or a htc.

All i'm saying is to get a phone with 2Gb of ram. S4 or even the S3 with 4G is fine. The N4 is subject to different considerations (do you want an sdcard, etc) but it's a powerhouse too.
While the S3 nearly doesn't lag at all, not having multitask isn't fun and you'll definitly have a better experience if your apps aren't closing all the time due to lack of memory. This annoys me to no end and i'm replacing it whenever an oportunity arrises.

Noooo. 4.4 debloated and running in art mode on this thing is ridiculous fast, and the extra free ram and fewer running processes make for much better multitasking.

If you have much free ram on android something is wrong. Android is based on Linux and it runs faster with the ram as full as possible.

Hey, think what you guys want. Haha
There's a reason they keep including more ram in phone's. But hey you guys know best right?
Hahahaha. K.
More free ram will always allow for more multitasking and a snappier opening of apps. If you geniuses want to run your phone's bogged down to ahead. More running processes also loads the cpu.
There's so much wrong in what you guys are saying it's not even funny.
How do you think the infamous v6 supercharger script worked?

I would take Houstonn's PA 4.0 over CM. I use PA as my daily driver and I don't see any bugs. FYI, I use my G2 as a phone, meaning Emails, calls, sms, internet( for info search only), gps, lite YT and all of these work just fine for me.
Can't complain with mine....coming from L920.....very fast, running with Buckeye 2.1....mostly stock, just debloated.....LG G2 has come a long way from the LG G2x...I hated that phone mostly due to the poor battery life....and the crashes and reboots.....gave it to my son then passed on to his mom, the ex-wife, but surprisingly, she's still using it.
