Install a custom recovery (cwm or twrp), search the forum for the right methods to install recovery to your specific device, then search for latest flashable gapps (Google apps) on the forum, download it. Now boot into recovery that you have installed previously on your device. Select install zip file, choose the gapps file that you downloaded, flash it and then restart device, you should have Google play now. Hope I helped.

try this,
if you have installed Google play,
~ open setting>applications>Google play
~ force stop, clear cache, clear data,
~ reboot
~ open Google play again, then log in again
no need to root to do that
Don't forget to hit THANKS button

no, you don't have to root, try to download another playstore, then repeat my solution again,
if it still doesn't working, root your phone and flash gapps, or back to the stock rom, find the newest stock rom

What error you get when downloading from gplay?
And about gmail and attachments, it wont let you download file if you don't have program to open that file, or something like that.
But then again, stock rom should have office installed, right?
I know it didn't let me download zip file, even though I have 2 file managers which can open zip.
Looks like last gmail is stupid. I don't recall having that problem on older version

Hi,Thansk for the reply, I am facing this issue only after upgrading my OS to ICS. When I am trying to download/ install anything from Google play it tries to dwnload for hours (even for few kb apps) and after that it gives an error (Error in downloading file). I have tried with 3G same result.
Same case with downloading any attachment from Gmail. I have installer/ office suite etc..

If after update to ICS, you had your old data on your phone, meaning if PCC/SEUS didn't wipe your phone(which is case if you update software, not repair), try clearing cache/data from google play app, settings->apps and find google play store, click on it and pres clear data/cache.

Hi guys,
I hope you can bear with a very inexperienced user and help me.
I was having problems with the 'gapps process has stopped unexpectedly' popups, so decided to factory reset.
This didn't work out as I expected, it doesn't actually return my X10 Mini to the way it came out of the factory.
The gapps problem is gone but I can't access the Market to get my apps back because I don't have Google Talk on the phone.
After I had previously rooted the phone I removed it in error but was able to reinstall from a downloaded file.
I still have this file on my Pc (gtalkservice.apk) but don't know how to get it back to the phone so that I can get Market going again.
Can anyone advise me?

OK, I managed to download Root Explorer from a non-Market source, found Google Apps and installed, found Google Talk and installed.
Now Market is working again BUT the damned Gapps process stopped working popups are back again.
Please help.

So today i rooted my phone and later on i tried to install a googlde play licence app which did not work and when uninstalled it, it caused me losing google play perm. So i downloaded a apk file from xda forum. But that google play store kept crashing so now i knew nothing to do so i factory reseted my phone and thought it would help.
Nope it made everything worse now. I lost all my file/apps and my sd card doesnt work anymore and google play is not there.
So if anyone can help me getting my original google play back, help me so my phone detects sd card. Please i will be forever thankful

What phone do you have? Do you have a custom recovery on your phone? If you could give me some information I could possibly help.
I'm not familiar with google play licenses, but my advice is to first get clockwork recovery, flash PA gapps. If that fails, install a stock rom from another website, you can backup with titanium if your root.

Download a gapp.zip for whatever android version you have. Then power off your phone and reboot into recovery ( in your case clockworkmod) and flash the gapps then you should be good to go.
If all fails you can use the Samsung Kies i think its called to completely reset the phone. :good:

Default language is Russian I used some deodexed files from SM-N915F and SM-N915FY when built this ROM. The ROM is tested on my Galaxy Note Edge Verizon Phone. It is works excellent and stable. It is looks like SM-N915F. All Verizon programs and some apps like Hangouts, PenUp, Google Music, Instagram, Flipboard removed. At first on your phone must be installed a new firmware. https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...opment/verizon-note-edge-marshmallow-t3689387 Then, after download TWRP.rar file unpack it and copy TWRP folder to your phone or external SD Card. Go to TWRP Recovery Wipe menu and wipe dalvik/ art cache, cache, data, system. Go to restore menu and select storage where you copy unpacked TWRP folder. Select my backup and restore System. The system will install more than usually, please don't panic. Everything will be good.
This backup is tested and 100% working. Before installing my ROM, create a full backup of your system. So you have no risk. Please, after installing the ROM, write your feedback, it is important to me.

That flash with the Update zip was successful. I get to the checking connection part of setup though and it never finishes. The 4g and wifi icons show and it says connected when i sign into wifi but im not getting any data.
I finally pushed the skip button at checking connection and i tried to sign into google play and i got nothing. Says theres no connection.
Oh and S Note stops and force closes.
And the TWRP backup -
S Note stops during setup as well. And again no data connection. The icons are there and active but still no data, cant sign into google play.

i have a never ending bootloop no matter what I try, I tried wiping everything, system,cache,data, and dalvik cache and still nothing, I get to the starting apps screen in Russian and as soon as it finishes it bootloops again, any help?

You must wiping only dalvik and cache. Which firmware was installed before?
I was using a 5.1.1 custom ROM, might that be the culprit?

Google contact/calendar sync from apkmirror doesn't work on my mobile (132 stock).
I've downloaded the additional apps but only found syncadapter.calendar.apk.
Is this the apk I am supposed to install for syncing Google with the stock calendar/contacts app?

Download the Apps Package from first Post,there is Google calendar sync inside,i test this Apps and all works.Don't forget give Permisxions in the App Settings.Google Contact Sync is in the Stockrom integrated,in Orignal Stockrom 132 and 151

I could use most Google services including Google Pay, however in user and account settings, the Google Contact is not shown as an item for syncing. And in the contacts I couldn't save to Google contacts. Not sure if I am the only one having such problem? Tried to install the latest Google contact sync APK from apkmirror and trusted the app, still no luck with it.

Google contact sync APK is preinstalled in Honor Note 10 in all Roms 120,132 or 151.Go into Apps Setting and show System Apps,you see Google contact sync app.Show if you have Permissions to contacts.
For me works all Google Apps withuot any Problem

I mean Contact Sync ist preinstalled out of the Box.You must be check in Settings for Permission or Batterysettings

The 151 Rooted Rom works only if you make the Official Update from 132 to 151.
Flash the Rooted From 151 from 132 doesn´t work,Phone boot not into System!
I make/have a Backup from 132 with Twrp before i root.
Restored the 132 Backup,flash Stockrecovery and make the Official 151 Update.
Install Twrp again and flash the 151 Rooted Stockrom,this is all.
Of course there is another way:
Flash Stockrecovery
Copy the 125 Official Stockrom in External Memory in a Folder Names dload
Power off the Phone.
Press Vol-Vol+ and Power Button at same Time and keep the 3 buttons pressed until the update starts.
After this Procedur is your Bootloader Locked.
Make the 132 and 151 Ota Update.
Unlock the Bootloader again and flash Twrp again.
There is another way:
Reboot into eRecovery and restore your Phone complete to Stock.
Reboot the Phone and if you see the orange font press volume up for 3 Seconds boot into eRecovery.
Press Download lastest Version and Recovery - Download and Recovery-and Conncect the Phone with your Wifi,in 10 min comlete to Stock Rom.
If you Twrp installed you must not flash the Stock Recovery,Everything is done automatically via eRecovery.
It's actually easiest and nothing can go wrong

I attach the zip file for the stock recovery. Use the following command in bootloader mode:
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk RECOVERY_RAMDIS.img
