Yes you can..read about it in the general subforum for our phone...here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1240
ask questions there...or else pm me/ someone else..
This is the developer subforum for our phones..only for development..stuff like custom roms, kernel, mods etc...so the moderator will be deleting your thread...and next time play by the rules...
PS: hit thanks if i helped!

adding a language to a rom

hey everyone,
as I'm getting deeper and deeper in exploring my S iii mini...i came to a small problem.
you see, I want to upgrade my 4.1.1 stock firmware to a 4.1.2 but the problem is that those stock roms available doesn't support arabic language,so i was wondering if there is some tutorial about adding language to a rom...or some way i can do it otr anything
p.s : I don't want to translate my sys to arabic...I want to read and write arabic.

In q/a does questions belong.
You need root.
Root browser.
System/build.prop
In build.prop add this line in the bottom
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0

I have used it on ICS and 4.1 and have had no problems. There is less chance problems manually changing build.prop than using mods. It could just be that MB3 is a leak and isn't complete yet.
