Governor question - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

Since on SS we can't install anything but stock kernels, is there a way to load different governors? I'd really like wheatley. No way to flash or run an apk for the governor?

It says you activate both cores but shouldn't that be done by default? I was just wondering if it was or if it was worth doing this??

which player do you have 3.6, 4.0, 4.2, 5.0? the root methods vary depending on the player, also is it the US (all capacitive keys) or International (physical home button) as this can also effect rooting method.
If you have 2.3.6 you cant root..you will have to flash custom kernel to unlock and then root

I have the 5.0 and can you point me in the direction to do that.

No need for those words. I suggest you try RJ's Kernel. It's rooted, and it works for me. More like 2-in-1 so you can have a new kernel and also a rooted device. Good luck!

dude if you don't have any clue the difference between rooting and a kernel then maybe you shouldn't be doing anything to your player at all, so don't get all pissed off when someone tells you to use google.

At this time no, you are correct.

Stock kernel

Does the stock kernel have all of the correct running constantly or is on demand with only one running constantly? I Googled this but came up with nothing.

MJ4 not rooted....

Looking to grab the 4.4.2 update OTA. But I'm rooted with TWRP.
I DO NOT have a computer of any kind. My question is, is it possible to revert to bone stock not rooted MJ4 with out a computer?
Sent from my SM-N900P using xda app-developers app
So I need to find a way to get the 4.4.2 official ota without a computer. I need to somehow flash a stock unrooted ROM, (can't update if system is modified...)
Or could I just flash the ota .zip in twrp?
Sent from my SM-N900P using xda app-developers app
You'd need to flash the 4.4 bootloader then flash freeza's stockish 4.4.2 rom in development. To get pure stock I believe you need a computer and Odin.
