First, the bad message: I will stop using my arc S next week, because I will get a new cool and great Nexus 5!
To get a Vanilla Android feeling, i installed CM10 FXP244 on my arc S. And I tried to use Nexus 5 Apps on my arc S. And it worked!
And the best app from Nexus 5 ist the camera. It´s working 100% on my arc S with 4.1.2!
There is 16:9 photo shooting with full Megapixel, there is no green screen when making a photo and you can also take videos in high resolution.
You can download the Nexus 5 Apps in my Mediafire folder. (Source: Droid Life)
I THINK THIS WILL ALSO WORK ON 4.0.4, BUT I HAVN´T TESTED IT. PLEASE REPORT!

camera not working
Camera apk doesnt work for me. Im using CM10 also but its older than FXP 244 thats for sure, i just cant remember wich one. It opens and i see this green/blue blurred lines. Any solutions? Thanks in advance

It's working fine with ICS 4.0.4 (UHD 5.0.1)
But in 8 MP it's 4:3 ratio and no 16:9 (not a pb for me anyway)

I'm using N5 and camera does not support 16:9 at 8mp, so I don't think it will for arc either

I think it requires a Sony Tablet.
I know it works with the tablet s, don't know about Xperia or p.

Pretty App but...
I like how sony made a good looking social app with FB and Twitter...but i want more interactive with it...like sharing, posting pics, groups, and location. And also I would consider squeezing in Instagram, Foursquare, and tec.

It will never work OK because our devices lack a sensor called Gyroscope (Gyro), It's too buggy so we use the "legacy camera", I thinks it's ICS camera. I made a flashable zip for the MK16 that should work on other HDPI devices, deletes the 4.2 camera and replaces it with the older version but with the 4.2 icon :good: (Works on 4.1 and 4.2)

Sony the Xperia Go is a great waterproof device...but Sony are hardware camera key,
So i decide to enable the volume key to take picture...like my recent MOD on Xperia Z and V

Tested, it's working but not fully, I have to press volume up which focuses it and then volume down to take it, it only allows me to take one photo and then I have to close it and reopen it to take another. I'll report more as I see. Thank you by the way

We have it but not unlimited burst! Although it gets installed you can't use it due to camera app

Does not work on my S3. Camera opens fine but when I take a picture it freezes and eventually force closes and renders the camera unusable even with the stock camera until I reboot the phone.
Working on my xperia p with the following bugs :
- in the gallery there seems to be some options on left swipe, only shows about 25% of the screen the rest is black.
- the camera FC at first but worked Ok after that.
- has a handy voice shutter option, but sadly it's in Chinese
I think I can use it even with said bugs, specially as it seem much faster than stock camera.

Works on Xperia Z1, any options generates FC, but the mainly works ok (video included).
Photos are more sharp and postprocessing are better (more agressive) than stock camera.

We first heard that Google would offer a Google Experience launcher with Android 4.4 Kit Kat a couple of weeks ago. As you know, the Nexus 5 (Hammerhead) factory images were released earlier today, and as a result, the GE launcher is now available to download and use on any device. You will need all three files below in order to get it to work.
PreBuiltGmsCore (Google Play Services 4.0) / Velvet (Google Search) / GoogleHome (Google Launcher)

google maybe releases google launcher in google play for +4.1.2
