how to modify game apk and change its data file location
like ~/sdcard0/android/obb/com.xxx.xxxx to→→→ ~/external/android/obb/com.xxx.xxxx..!!!
i knw there is app like data binder which can bind its data but it need root and i dont wanna root.do thungs frm pc.
i cant store more game in just 4Gb internal !!
problem of alll most of devices!!
any suggestion uf yes than tell me.

decomile nd make new apk and compile it and install game in pc like we installl cracked app in our devices

1- get screen filter and follow instructions. (available in xda)
2- Rooting voids warranty. Don't do it unless you know what you are doing.
3- Arabic is not available in Android 4.0.4 as well.
First of all welcome to the community, greetings from Israel
Bear in mind that Rooting is not hard but can be dangerous.. If you root you can flash custom ROMs/Kernels/mods and so on (if you don't know what those are you can find the definitions by googling it)..
Hope you'll be able to get along ;p

U can't off the light bar. There no options to switch it off.
And one more thing, use Sony PC companion (pc software from Sony) and install it on ur pc, use it to update ur xperia U to android 4.0.4, latest firmware.

I tried using the bin4ary method and it doesnt work on my phone. and then i tried superoneclick and it gets stuck at "Failed to set prot mask (Inappropriate ioctl for device)
somebody please help me to rooot this.

ok lets start from the beginning..
first of all extract the files on ur dekstop n make a folder of it.
2. Make sure u have enabled USB debugging on ur device. If not then go to settings/development n then tick usb debugging.
3. Now all u have to do is to open the runme.bat file on ur computer wich u hv extracted.
4. Connect ur fon to PC n connect as media device in ur fon n let ur PC detect ur fon.
thats it! now enter '1' in runme and ur device will ask to restore ur data. Restore ur data and let ur fon reboot. Ur done enjoy!!!

Dude if u hv followed d above steps correctly n if ur bng asked to restore den after restoring and rebooting wait for sometime and disconnect ur fon from PC and then download root checker from playstore.. it will let u know whether ur device is rooted properly or not.. n yea make sure dat before running the rooting process ur device is detected by PC and dnt forget to enable usb debugging.. I'm sure dis tym ull get ur device rooted!!:good:

U don't hav to b online 24*7..
Just download epo data once for faster positioning... N turn on agps of ur device n connect..

I saw it, but that one still having millions of bugs. I was trying the mine and works perfectly in stock 2.254
EDIT: Still thinking isnt necessary make a big thread with millions of different things... that the half dont work, better make simple things that works at first time... What do u think?

Did u look on the forum or on another one for the default apk? In that case it s not difficult, you just have to put it with root explorer in /system/app I think it should be good

if u have all that just start by fixing one of the cm roms
it will be easier than building from scratch
