[Q] Transfer apps bought with wrong Play account - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

In exploring my Google Dashboard, I realized that I have apps that I accidentally bought under my work Google account. If I ever leave this job, I want to retain updates on these apps. Does anybody know whether it's possible to transfer these to my personal account, which is where I typically buy my apps?

[Q] New 10.1 Tab. Market Question

I got a 10.1 tab last night and it's great. I have one issue maybe you can help me with regarding the market and apps. My wife and I both have android phones and we are sharing the tablet. When I set it up and put in our email addys I went into the market and it was downloading all of the app we have on our phones. Cool feature if I'm replacing my phone, but not for a shared device that I don't need to be identical to our phones. Is there a way to not make it do this? The thought I have is to create a dummy account for both of us but then it seems like it will be weird to use gmail app and stuff like that.
Thanks!
wait what?
Are both you using the same Google Account?
No shared accounts. I put in both of our gmails under, settings then accounts. Now we can switch between the 2 accounts in the gmail app but I hate that the market downloaded each of our phone apps.
It's because there is a setting when you first ran the market or setup your gmail on the tablet. It's the option where you allow Google to download previously purchased apps off the market and because your phone uses the same account, Google assumes you want the same apps, if the app is compatible with tablet. Remember purchase can be paid or free apps. It won't sync again like that after the first time unless you decide to reformat and you don't uncheck that box again.

[Q] Multiple Google accounts and Market issue!

I've always used a regular Google account (with Gmail) to setup my Android phone. Recently I've switched my private domain over to Google Apps, and since you cannot import a personal Google Account into Google Apps I had to create a new one and transfer all the stuff I needed to (calendar, mail, photo's, etc).
The only thing you cannot transfer are the apps you purchased (way to go Google!). So now I'm stuck with my new personal account with everything on it, and my old Google Account just for the apps I've purchased on the Android Market (Google Play). This causes really annoying issues!
I add both accounts to my phone and turn off sync for the old account. Then I open the Google Play app, hit the menu button and select acounts from which I'll select my old account with which I purchased all the apps. These apps wont show up under 'My Apps' and when I try to search and download it wants me to pay again.
I've tried all kinds of stuff like deleting the Google Play data, adding just one account at first and then the other but nothing seems to be working and it's really starting to piss me off. Any ideas?

[Q] Google Account

Hi, hoping there's some kind of solution for this...
Basically, I have an old gmail address that I want to get rid of(or stop using at least) and make a new one, because it's full of so much crap. However, I have many purchased apps from the Play Store, and was wondering if there is any way of linking that data to a new gmail address? Or does the Google Market even have anything to do with the gmail address you use? Any help is appreciated.
Gmail Id u use to download apps from play store has those apps backed up. Meaning, if u get a new phone or factory reset the phone, once u sign in with that Gmail account, all those apps will automatically start to download (even the ones u have paid for) , so u don't have to scratch the head and think which are all the apps u had on d phone!
Sent from my OC ed mind.!

[Q] [4.2.2] How to share Play Store purchased apps but not Gmail account?

Good morning everyone!
I'm setting up a tablet (Asus MemoPad FDH10, Android 4.2.2) for my mother, and I would love to be able to install the apps I've already bought, but without giving her access to my emails, photos and other data linked with my Google account.
One way is to add my Play Store Account, download the apps and then remove it, but some apps request licence and I fear that there should be some problems with it.
Is there any work around?
No one? If nobody answers I will simply assume there is no solution...

Two Google accounts on one Phone - Best practice

When we both used IOS (shudder) I was able to setup only my Itunes account on my wife's phone, to give her access to the apps I had purchased.
I know I can setup my Google account on her phone, but this by default gives her access to my Gmail etc, which is not what I want at all.
Is there a way to just give her phone my account on the Play Store, and nowhere else, to keep our lives separate?
