Hello and good morning,
sony introduced the new stylus ES22 for Xperia Z Ultra and now the question for me is wether this stylus will work with other devices, like our tablet z or z1 - last one had the sketch app preinstalled.
What do you think about this stylus?
Is there an app like sketch from z ultra on our tablet z? found nothing yet...

According to the Sony website the Z Ultra will work with a pencil which is certainly not the case with the Tablet Z so I would assume that the touch interface must be different somehow and I doubt that the stylus would work looking at how thin the tip is.
Just my opinion though and happy to be proved wrong.

I am sure i saw a article here on xda that sony were prepping a z ultra tablet without the phone same specs just tablet wifi only any news on that device anywhere or was it just vapourware?

Haven't heard anything new from that corner, so they might have changed their minds and released the GPe edition instead, or maybe they'll release it in 2014. We don't know.

I've not seen one even rummered yet, but thereis bound to be a successor sooner or latter unless the volumes haven't meet expectations of the sales.

Some people seem to think so, but the three that I have used I would say that it is fine
Perfect this way
Here the vibrations are perfect, too.
I really hope Sony will let this thing exactly this way forever.
Can anyone with the tablet confirm if it has pen/pencil support like the Z Ultra?

No it doesn't work. So I don't know if it is a software related or hardware thing. We Will have to wait till see/hear more news about it

I think you should ask directly to Sony, since the BKB50 did not come out yet in most of the world (I think it came out only in Taiwan and Hong Kong).

You can use the BKB50 keyboard with the tablet Z as, effectively, it is just a bluetooth keyboard. HOWEVER, the tablet Z will not fit into the dock/hinge on the BKB50 as it is too thick. The Z4 tablet is much thinner than the tablet Z and the dock/hinge has been designed for this. Also, when using the BKB50 with the tablet Z, you will not get the recent apps dock that the Z4 tablet has.

The difference is only 0,8mm.

0,8 =~1mm, which if is significant.
So i don't think it will fit, but if you can, try it before purchase.
