[ROM] [UNOFFICIAL] [4.4 Goodness] OmniROM for Nexus 5 (Hammerhead) - Nexus 5 Android Development

So here is the unofficial build of OmniROM for the Nexus 5.
I just locally build the rom and tested it with my own Nexus5 and everything seems to working fine.
BUT STILL, I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR DEVICE!
Also this is at the moment pretty barebone rom, so don't expect that all the cool features will be here on start
and no, there won't be any screenshots. It's an AOSP ROM duh

Remeber to FLASH GAPPS too!
I would like to thank all the OMNI ROM developers to making this possible!

Nice to see another rom. Looking forward for future development

OP, is this just the Omni base, or are there any cherry picks or features included?

So if chrry picks dont come, this will just be a regular aosp rom then? Can you elaborate? I was hoping the main features of omnirom were eventually going to make there way here.

eh? Of course it will have the Omnis features. At the moment the 4.4 version of Omni is so new that all of the features seen on the 4.3 rom are not ready yet.

Once the download is done you could , (for verification purposes, ) use a file explorer to see if the .md5 is a match or mismatch. Something like this

Can you please expound upon "camera issues fixed?" Is the camera fully functional, stable and bug free to your knowledge? I'll give this a go but just wanted to know in advance what to expect from the camera as its function is a requirement to be a daily driver for me. Thanks!

Just make sure the gapps is compatible with 4.3 her is a link to one that i use http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip
Everything is buttery smooth as usual...still getting an error when checking for updates it says "error downloading manifest" but its not a huge deal to me at all...everything other than that is great...just missing a few basics like expanded sound panel, T-9 dialer and maybe a kill-all in recents menu but its great so far... thanks for initializing support and continuing support for this phone...definitely my current daily

[ROM][PORT][N5110] Liquid Smooth

Hey guys, I'm working on porting Liquid Smooth to the N5110 and am gauging interest.
Any volunteer testers?
So far, I've ported a copy based on Note 2 using Sbrissen's CM10.2 as a base.
Here is the link:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23203820527943718
You will need to flash this then gapps.
Please flash at your own risk!
This is a test only.
I am currently trying to get one built from source too.
Thanks goes out to Sbrissen for using his CM10.2 n5110 rom as a base. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391516
Also to the Liquid Smooth team who are helping me to build a source rom (coming soon).

Mmmm... I miss my Liquid. I had this Rom on my Gnex for a long time until the split with Carbon. Off love to see that buttery smoothness on my Note 8!
Unfortunately, I use my Note 8 in ways that I can't beta test so I hope you get it ported and stable so I can load that up!

It was meaningless, since it requires root access and I didn't have those. And I noticed that when I go into the active windows list (not sure what it's called) I noticed that the pictures of apps and the *kill all apps from the list* -button was pointing to my left when I was holding the tablet normally (home buttons down). I switched to PAC-ROM but I'm willing to try a new build when it's ready
So I changed the root settings from Developer settings to Only Apps and the root access started working and so did the Performance Control. I guess the problem was at the Apps and ADB -setting, so until now it's working great
New bug: The rom makes the tablet reboot randomly! And I have noticed the battery-life isn't so great but I suppose it's because of there is still cellular network enabled in this rom.
Was there any headway made? I love liquid smooth.

I've been running this rom for over a week now and like the dark UI but have a question on the texting app. When you go to settings/security and go to "SMS message limit" setting, is that working or is that just a dead setting as of now. I send group SMS texts to 35 people 3 times daily and for any number over 30 in 15 minutes I have to hit OK for it send every message. I've tried changing to 50, 100 and 200 but does the same thing over 20 using native texting app, Go SMS, and EvolveSMS.
Any suggestions?
Nice. Been hoping this would show up here on XDA, or somewhere else. Ground Zero team seems like a good bunch. Been waiting to run Validus.

It feels really smooth, but has no features to speak of (other than regular cm features), also what is this Smartly.Me app? All it does is redirect me to an app on the playstore.

Unfortunately, it seems to suffer from the same Quick Settings bug as other CM based ROM's. You cannot add more than four broadcast tiles using something like the Custom Quick Settings app.
