Audio through headphone jack video through MHL - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

I tried searching the forums with no luck. What I am trying to do is hook my phone up to a projector with mhl but I am not running through a receiver. I want to play audio out of the headphone jack to some computer speakers. I am rooted on stock rom. Any help would be great

Is there a surefire app that will test both cores?

I just got exchanged my 2 week old 3D for a new one hoping to see Vellamos or any app give core 2 more then a score of 0 and 0, but no luck, also the speaker is way too quiet, and plugging in a mini to mini cable into mini speakers to hear a song or movie still brings up the Google Mic, songs start and stop and other strange things, all this is exactly like the one I returned. Any ideas? Also is there a way to get HDMI video out of this thing.
I'm starting too really miss my traded in 4G.
Thanks in advance for any info, or help.

Check the market for an app called "Headset Blocker". Slap the widget on a homescreen and enable before plugging in. Works like a charm.

Good question. My Current radio doesn't see it, but since it presents the onboard media as a file share... is possible that if your radio supports USB memory, it may be able to read the radio as a big usb stick...
I am getting a new Mygig RHR hopefully monday.. that will support A2DP and AVRCP 1.4.. I will make a point of seeing if I can get it to also play USB audio from the s3..
Can I assume that you have seen this working on other android phones before?
The Samsung car dock connects via USB and audio out works from it, so I'd assume the functionality is there.

Stereo Speaker System with GNote dockability?

i'm looking for a Stereo Speaker System with GNote dockability.
ie: something similar to the iCraig tower speaker which you can plug an iPhone into. now that my GNote is my primary audio device, i'd like a stereo system that can hook up to it.

I think Panasonic has one but it's more of a dock/clock radio style not really a stereo. Search Android dock on Google.

For the money those are hard to beat. I had a set in the garage for awhile until I upgraded the stereo system in the house and the old one came to the garage.
If your looking to play one source then those speakers are great bang for the buck. But if your wanting multiple inputs, then a regular sound system will work that you can use a 3.5mm to RCA (head phone jack to red white plugs).

[Q] Aux output through Accessory Menu

I purchased an iBOLT Dock'n Play cable for my Verizon Galaxy Note 2 with 4.3 Jellybean. It worked well when I would go into the system settings and select Accessory and then output to headset. I recently switched to T-Mobile and a Galaxy S5 with Kitkat loaded. I have rooted the phone and am running Alliance ROM B2 as my DD. I cannot find the Accessory setting anymore and there are no output settings to change as in Jellybean. I really liked that feature because I could route the aux output through the microusb rather than having to plug in two cords (USB and AUX). I have searched everywhere on the web and the forums for a solution, but have not found anything that addresses the problem.
Can anyone help?

I'm not sure what you're trying to do. Do you want to output sound through the usb cable?
The accessory menu is still in Settings, under the heading "System" - that should be what you're looking for.

Yes. I would like to have audio output through usb. I saw the system accessories, but the only option is output through hdmi. Either stereo or surround. It used to have output through headset which would route it through the usb and eliminate the need for the aux cable from the headphone jack.

Sorry I can't help with this. I thought iPhones were the only ones that could even do that :silly:
Since when can android do this? I had a Note 3 and it didn't work, N5 didn't work, HTC one didn't work.
If you use the dock cable mentioned above, it works very well. The option just disappeared with the update to Kitkat.
