[Request]Omnirom for Hp Touchpad - TouchPad General

This is a request. If someone amongs developers could please compile Omni rom for the Hp touchpad. I think the multi window feature could be amazing on the Touchpad.

I would love to see more adoption of this OmniROM. For now I guess I need to see how the ROM looks like with the Nexus devices.

That would be pretty neat, although if I had to choose...I'd rather make absolutely sure we stay on current Android builds (like KitKat) in a fast and stable manner than branch out.

Thanks guys to give your support for this. Maybe a developper will see it and find it worthy of making a build.

Ordered a touchpad today ? had one 2 years ago and want to try it again ... would be nice to see omnirom on this device. Already installed on i9000 and i9100 and runs perfect?✌

Do you guys want omni rom with 4.3 or 4.4?

I think 4.3 would be better. It would be much more stable plus we could have working Bluetooth.

I know team ose has a great ROM that includes the split view , 4.3 is nice and stable and they are willing to port if requested .

I too would like to see omni rom on the TouchPad but I would be happy if the new open delta updater could be included in the cm10.2 nightlies

I would suggest NOT to root or flash any rom, if you are not able to or too lazy to search and read a little bit...
All mentioned Roms are in top ten in development...

personally i'd say CyMod 7.2 with Launcher Pro - insanely fast, battery lasts ages, very mature CyMod build - perfect for the legend
use something like titanium backup to strip out ADWlauncher which never did run very well on the legend.
not trying to troll here, but i don't think the Legend's an Android4 device. too many bugs, poor/non-existent/out dated driver/codec/api support for main features like GPS and video decoding.
it may not be android4, but 7.2 is only a couple of months old.
but that's just me.
CyMod 7.2.

Yay, yay. Tried some CM9 mods, but everytime something didn't work well. It is a pity, and again thanks to all the hard workers to get Android 4 working on our beloved Legend. But it isn't just it.
I use CM7.2 (HomICS, which is NOT ICS) along with Go Launcher. Works like a charm as well.
AOKP 4.04 found in the legend forum. Works very smooth with minor bugs. Cm 7.2 works perfect. I only like the AOKP /cm9 look better.
HTC Legend
S-on, bootloader unlocked (htcdev)
AOKP ICS 4.04
This is the best ROM for Legend IMO

it's not entirely bug free, some bugs are still present. but can undoubtedly qualify as a daily driver.

As i tried the rom I found it bugfree but later i came across with only one bug, that is the WIFI tethering is not working... other things work fine with it..
and Wifi tethering can be resolved by a third party app such as 'WIFI TETHER FOE ROOT USERS'.
so thats why i called it bugfree.. if i m wrong then apologies please..

I don't want to sound rude and I don't know if you are new in forum (any forums) but there is already a thread regarding this

I don't know what the sole purpose of this thread. If you can lock it it would be much better since we don't want our discussions to be scattered throughout the forums.

[ROM][PORT][N5110] Liquid Smooth

Hey guys, I'm working on porting Liquid Smooth to the N5110 and am gauging interest.
Any volunteer testers?
So far, I've ported a copy based on Note 2 using Sbrissen's CM10.2 as a base.
Here is the link:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23203820527943718
You will need to flash this then gapps.
Please flash at your own risk!
This is a test only.
I am currently trying to get one built from source too.
Thanks goes out to Sbrissen for using his CM10.2 n5110 rom as a base. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391516
Also to the Liquid Smooth team who are helping me to build a source rom (coming soon).

Mmmm... I miss my Liquid. I had this Rom on my Gnex for a long time until the split with Carbon. Off love to see that buttery smoothness on my Note 8!
Unfortunately, I use my Note 8 in ways that I can't beta test so I hope you get it ported and stable so I can load that up!

I'm using Civato's Flexbeam as a daily driver myself.
I'm working on source so that as soon liquidsmooth merges omnirom's dua multi window, the TouchWiz stylus apps won't as attractive anymore.

It was meaningless, since it requires root access and I didn't have those. And I noticed that when I go into the active windows list (not sure what it's called) I noticed that the pictures of apps and the *kill all apps from the list* -button was pointing to my left when I was holding the tablet normally (home buttons down). I switched to PAC-ROM but I'm willing to try a new build when it's ready
So I changed the root settings from Developer settings to Only Apps and the root access started working and so did the Performance Control. I guess the problem was at the Apps and ADB -setting, so until now it's working great
New bug: The rom makes the tablet reboot randomly! And I have noticed the battery-life isn't so great but I suppose it's because of there is still cellular network enabled in this rom.
Was there any headway made? I love liquid smooth.

OmniROM Official for Nexus 10

I noticed we have official builds now on the omni website, but there's currently no XDA thread for it. Anyone know anything- who the maintainer is, etc?
Particularly interested in getting multi window...

Tempest. ROM is a N10 OMNI based ROM with working split-view and immersive desktop. It's stability has made it my daily driver, see my signature below. The option of installing the ViPER4Android audio enhancement will make your N10 sound like a new device.

used to love PAC on my SGS3! Welcome....
SG3 and PAC-ROM, Those were the days. Looking forward to this ROM.
It feels really smooth, but has no features to speak of (other than regular cm features), also what is this Smartly.Me app? All it does is redirect me to an app on the playstore.

Update: New Build Added [29 Feb]

Thank you for the ROM.
Unfortunately, it seems to suffer from the same Quick Settings bug as other CM based ROM's. You cannot add more than four broadcast tiles using something like the Custom Quick Settings app.

And only thing I tested.
