VERY smooth so far. I see a noticeable improvement over screen rendering and animation quality over the first round of builds (houstonn updated PA as well.) QS customization and that "Clear All" in the recents menu would be fantastic but this thing is amazing, truly awsome work.

good job!

Wow! There is a way to install your rom in e975?

And on My e977? Thank

I respond to myself. Flashed slimkat with smoocha kernel from chadouming and working flawlessly on e975.

That's great to know thanks

Usually AT&T phones are fine (albeit, after a reboot). My Rogers (Canadian) e971 ALWAYS needs the nfc-fix flashed in recovery when the ROM was made for the e970 natively. I think some other international variants need it as well.

There is a script that just got updated to odex the system/app and system/priv-app (where gapps .apks are located) .apks in kitkat.
The script can also odex framework and other parts of the ROM, so you can pretty much odex all the rom.

It is still in testing phase for 4.4, but initial reports show that it is working.

[ROM][9/04/13][4.3]CM 10.2 Unofficial

For the alternative version of the ROM(with support for camera autofocus with JB radio) see the post #2 of this thread
This is an unofficial CM 10.2(based on JB 4.3) source built ROM. It works on AT&T Optimus G(E970) and on Canadian Optimus G(E971/3)
Known problems:
- Camera app has no continuous autofocus with the stock ATT JB modem. But it works fine with the hybrid ATT JB/Nexus4 .84 modem by morrislee.

Click to collapse
Notes:
- Backup your EFS partitions before flashing any ROM/Modem: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2161611
- Gapps are not included.
Make sure to flash 4.3 Gapps, you can use BaNkS's 4.3 Gapps package: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012857
- No modem is included in this ROM. JB modem or hybrid JB/Nexus4 modem is recommended. For Canadians: you need to flash an appropriate JB modem for your carrier. If you need continuous camera autofocus you can try hybrid JB/Nexus4 modem. And remember to do a backup of EFS! Refer to these threads for modem links: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2270319 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087227
- The kernel included in the ROM is based on AOSP 4.3 mako kernel + my updates to support all E970 features + faux123 updates: custom color gamma/intellidemand/intelliplug/faux sound/faux speaker etc.

The fix will be uploaded soon. It is not kernel related: I was a last minute fix for in call headphones audio(which should work fine) but I accidentally broke regular handset audio.

[RECOVERY] ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.3.8

ClockworkMod Recovery is a simple and straightforward custom recovery designed by Koush and maintained by the CyanogenMod team as a whole.
Please note, you must have already unlocked your bootloader through freegee or teenybin for this to work.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this recovery
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
Install Through Fastboot:
Download the ClockworkMod Recovery image: Dev-Host
Install the android sdk
Reboot the device into bootloader mode:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
Flash the recovery with fastboot:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery CWM-6.0.3.8-e970.img
Reboot the device
You have successfully installed ClockworkMod Recovery, happy flashing!
Install Through Custom Recovery:
Download the ClockworkMod Recovery zip: Dev-Host
Place the zip file on the device's storage
Reboot into recovery
Select the install option and select the zip you placed on the device
Confirm and reboot the device
You have successfully installed ClockworkMod Recovery, happy flashing!
CWM vs TWRP:
Personally, this is completely a matter of preference. I've simply always preferred CWM to TWRP so I decided to make an updated version for myself and am sharing it with anyone else who is interested in CWM. You are always capable of switching to TWRP if you find this does not suit your needs.
About this version:
This was built and tested on September 25, 2013 from the latest available code from the CyanogenMod github. Based on the official CM repositories for e970, ls970-common, gproj kernel and CWM. All submitted changes have been merged and are now officially part of the the repositories.
Known issues:
After backup and restore, sometimes the battery display resets to 1% (this appears to be purely cosmetic and it does not actually zap the battery dry)
Choosing install zip from sdcard defaults to /storage/emulated instead of /storage/emulated/0 (I have been informed this is "by design" but I do find it mildly inconvenient)

The official touch version of CWM is closed source, but once the gerrit change is merged it should be possible to build a touch version from koush's automated recovery builder that behaves identically.

I have not done anything specifically to add in exfat support and I have no exfat formatted devices with which to test it with, but it seems like exfat support in CM is already available through FUSE as well as specific commits for compatibility with CWM. On top of that the kernel seems to support fuse natively, but I don't claim to know anything about kernels so I could be misreading this. If someone could test with an exfat formatted device, I'd love to have a definite "yes" or "no" answer.

using CM11 on LGE970 since its release. yesterday, i flashed the latest snapshot M3 via rom's builtin "cm updater".
currently i am on cwm 6.0.4.5, which was installed via FreeGee when i unlocked my device. i need to know how cwm 6.0.3.8 is latest while the numbers suggest otherwise.
ROM Manager notifies me that 6.0.3.8 is latest available recovery. it would be very helpfull if someone can explain me the difference.
the reason for my curiosity is that in recent blog from CyanogenMod team, they mentioned the need of having the latest recovery for M3 to work fully.
i would also appreciate suggestion on which recovery to be used and how to ensure we get timely updates of recovery.
coming from twrp and i cant flash it!! i can select it, confirm flash, but then it just reboots into recovery again. help!!!!

error flashing ... updater binary error
Mine failed to install... Says there is an error executing the updater binary in zip

it seems to me PA will kick you off your download after a few second downloading. Leave it be. Its not ready.
Ya I've successfully downloaded the file three times but every time the md5 isn't matching up. So getting the update binary error the others reported.
Very thankful for the work the pa team is already putting into this, you guys are awesome.

Are the official tag, binaries, manifest etc out yet? I saw aaron's flo build was using 4.3 stuff in it. Cheers
New upload is up. Ignore the md5 on the server, the correct one is f137e6251f941b291851624433fb389f.
Use TWRP to flash. I know for a fact CWM has issues.

Everything except the 4.4 binaries is out. Only N5 4.4 binaries exist right now.

Use 2.6.x
Rotation broken. Fixed with ultimate rotation control app side loaded . titanium works so I'm restoring and testing apps as I go. So far seems pretty snappy!

[ROM][YP-G70] DayDream + Nexus5 Experience ROM [09/15][KYKINT]

DayDream + Nexus5 Experience ROM
I am releasing this on behalf of @kykint . There is a language barrier he had trouble trying to release this here. I have not personally tried this ROM as I am in the middle of other things:
Everything seems to work fine except that it takes a long long long time to boot for the first time, since ART is set by default.
Super smooth with 1.4ghz OC & SaberMod Toolchain.. -kykint

Edit(kykint): These are my personal builds for YP-G(B)70 which include JustArchi Optimizations V3 and my custom SaberMod Toolchains. I'm planning on building the N5 Experience ROM as often as possible, but the DayDream ROM which I uploaded is the only build I can share since the ROM has been switched to close-sourced project:crying:
Special thanks to @Meticulus, who provided me with base device & kernel source codes and helped me share my builds with xda users
(Sorry I cannot post replies, it says I need at least 10 posts)

Where are you seeing that? The title states YP-G70.
Those screenshots look really good. I might try this out as I temporarily have my dad's g70.
Edit: I just flashed it. It has graphical issues on the setup screen when going back and forth between the screens. That's probably the worst thing so far. Just skip through all the steps I guess.
Another bug is on the theme settings. Tap on one of the options (like boot animation). The notification bar will be white until you pull down and release the notification shade. Anyway, I'm not disappointed.
Gapps with Nexus5 Experience ROM
I flashed the Nexus5 Experience ROM, and as stated, it did take awhile to initially boot, and it booted successfully
I tried installing the latest mini-modular GApps, and got insufficient space in system partition. It needs 240848KB, and 222868KB is available. I'll try micro GApps and report back.
Someone plz reply asap about this: I tried to flash this ROM but it said can't flash and in parentheses it said bad. Can someone help me with this.

I too flashed the Nexus5 ROM, And flashed the minimal GApps with no problems. The first boot DID take around 15-20 minutes so yes, you have to be patient... So far, no issues, SDCard swap confirmed, and I'm playing Simpsons Tapped Out with no lag...
Great job!!!

UPDATE: I sucessfully installed micro GApps and reinstalled all of my apps via Titanium Backup. The "Android is upgrading...Optimizing app xxx of yyy" (yyy = 41 in my case) message is slowly moving along, but taking forever !! Maybe it's so slow because it's very tight on system partition space ??
Is there any logical explanation why usagi111 had enough system partition space to install minimal GApps, but I did not? I wiped everything short of my external SD card.
Just tried daydream ROM and it is stable as heck. I love the theme. Now theirs one ROM left to try and it is nexus5 experience

I did flash it thru cwm and did ask it root before restarting the phone, no superuser and when I install it from the play store, the binaries cant update, tried flashing several update.zip's and SuperSU.zips and still nothing...It's no big deal but sooner or later i'm going to need root access for something...
