I'm having problems connecting to xda using the tapatalk app, it was fine a few days ago but now it doesn't like connecting or when it does its insanely slow or fails. Half the time I cannot post
Every other forum I go on is perfectly fine
Anyone else having issues? Or know why its doing this?

Oh my god, thanks for this thread! I was thinking I am going nuts, but it seems other people have this issue as well. So count me in having this problem with Tapatalk and xda.

Ever sense I have got the phone every once in a while the browser will crash on me. I have seen it in multiple roms and was wondering if anyone else has seen this. Is there a fix? Any replys would be appreciated.

Yeah i tried to reinstall the app but nope cleared data and cache didn't work either way downloaded the free version on market and still the same funny how it was working fine but out of nowhere this appears....

Similar problem here, overall the xda premium app is great it just is filled with a bunch of random quirks sometimes. I suppose you could try taptalk as an alternative and see if that helps.

I know I had problems earlier this week with tapatalk not showing things I participated in, and when I checked out my profile it would say I had 50+ posts, but when I click on view posts it would say I had no posts. Those error were fixed like 2 days ago though. Hopefully the xda app gets fixed soon for you guys, but I know what you are going through. Only lasted for like 2-3 days for mine to return to normal.

That's what I been using. I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. It looks amazing on the Nexus 10.
It doesn't crash all the time for you? It would be fine if it didn't crash every time I re-open it...

Crashes pretty consistently here. I'd agree with OP
I retract my statement. It does take about three consecutive tries to get it to open randomly. Once in though there are no issues/crashing. I agree it needs updating to stop the initial crashes. It looks and feels too great to not be updated.
I wish they would optimize it more for tablets more. They said they would update it to a real tablet UI last spring. Obviously that didn't happen.

Its annoying they said they would update it. And yeah mine crashes a few times before it loads properly. I shall see if I can ever get a reply from the dev as the normal xda premium app even has widgets now

I also wish they would make it more tablet optimized. I just purchased it last night just so i don't have to look at the fuzzy XDA icon on my home screen. :/
Side note, I LOVE the N10 display, but man does it make A LOT of apps/content look like **** lol

Both apps art pretty laggy to me but at least the tapa talk doesn't crash a lot as well as it will open up links properly. I almost prefer just to use my browser because it is a much smoother experience

Tapatalk HD just started giving me issues with displaying images last night. I viewed an image, changed to landscape, and then had to back completely out of the app to get the image off the screen. The app still responds in the background to touch/button input, but the screen still displays the image.
I'm not having any problems with xda hd. It runs with no force closes, but it is pretty laggy when scrolling.
I am not having any problems with this app either. But I am using the premium one.

Does anyone else have a problem playing back messages with speaker on? Its very low volume and breaks up bad. Plays fine through ear piece, just not speaker

I noticed that the clock/weather widget could not show location. It just says current location. When I try to find it, it says location services unavailable. GPS is on and works. Maps works. So I'm just wondering what's going on. It isn't an issue, but I'm curious if anyone else is having this issue and has a fix?

Did that. Didn't work at first, and then started to, but now my GPS isn't finding any satellites. This started happening out of nowhere because they were working. I even tried a reboot. But oh well! We will see!
NEVERMIND- fixed it with airplane mode
I have this problem too. Mine just says current location. I can add my city manually but in the widget it just says current location. Its extremely annoying.

Open location settings
Untick all boxes
Retick all options - press agree
Reboot
Seems to have worked for me and others.

I'm back on my Nexus 4 for now. Hopefully they fix it soon. Please contact HTC on Twitter and other places and complain. The first thing is for them to realize it's a problem.

Did you update Maps and Search? Also did you reboot your phone? Try rebooting.
