Was finally able to fix the problem and the side effect was it got rid of the Sense FC as well. I downloaded the latest RUU from the development section and applied it to my phone. It was a bit drastic but it has fixed all my problems thus far. I can see all my online albums and the phone is getting good performance across the board.
Same issue...

ok we have root, and s-off now, any fix would be nice!
I hope there is a fix to this soon... i hate to feel HTC is having us with a blindfold...
I have the same problem as well. I also have a problem when you upload a photo to picasa from sense, it says it was uploaded 100% but when you view the photo on picasa it shows a grey bar at the bottom.

lgCamera (not related to LG)

I found this thread in the main Android section. It seems like an excellent camera app
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1677645
all thanks should go to the developer (RubberBigPepper), I am just the messenger
I found something weird. While using the lgcamera,if i touch the camera/recorder button mode (right-topsite), i hear a click sound and a vibration near the camera lens at the back. I think the sound does not come from the speaker, but from the camera lens, can anyone confirm?

on my Arc S nothing like this. maybe some of the options about vibration and stuff like this are enabled?
weird, anyway
recording video is better than stock app, but not so good taking pictures
I took some pics. But I found the stock cam is much better. Pics token with LG are not sharp and there is "a little fog" at the picture. You understand what I mean? ;-) App deleted!

Yes, I am also experiencing this abnormal clicking noise.

Is there a mod to disable the absolutely pointless restriction that doesn't let you use the camera during a call?

With a little bit more seacrhing you would have ended up HERE:
[CAM-MOD] ["XXALF2" 13th June V1.35] 30Mbit/192kbit/Hardkey-Vol.UP/Down/lockfocus +
Edit: check first to make sure it is suitable for your device model !

When taking HDR pics my camera saves two seperate pictures jn my library...is it supposed to do so.. or create a single picture combining both the pics?

Go to photo settings..make sure assist light is off?
To add in a little more context: what you see is the focus assist light. This actually turns on before the photo is taken to get focussing information for the camera. There is no flash in the actual image being taken. But as the previous poster already answered you can turn that off as well (although I guess you will have to deal with more out-of-focus pictures then).
The light before the shot is taken is the focus assist light, to illuminate the focus object so your picture is focused.
Its not the flash. Is that what you mean?
Thanks to all u guys all these answers helped me appreciate it

Try going outside during the day and taking a picture. The focus assist light should stay off.

YouTube issue on Find X

YouTube was working just fine for me since I got the phone so I'm inclined to think that this is due to the recent update. When I try to play videos in 1080, they're zoomed in and moved to the right... Like for example, I was watching pocketnow daily, and all I could see when I switched to 1080 is Jaime Rivera's right hand lol and it was big haha
Any ideas?
Oh I got the Chinese version BTW.
I have no such problem. Maybe reinstall the app?
Yup
Same problem
Unfortunately, the only way to get it to work is to leave the quality at 480. Hope somebody find a fix.
This just started happening like 2 days or so. Must be the update. I tried uninstalling YouTube and it's still broken. Also, even when it was working, video quality on 1080 wasn't much better than 480.
Please let me know if anyone finds a fix. This is really annoying.
The fix is to turn off "video enhancement"...
The setting is under "display"

Yes, thanks.
That's the solution.
But I don't understand why...I mean, video enhancement is just to give more saturated colours to the video
