I'm moving to a new device but I really want to take all my game saves and some app saves with me that live on the phone. How do I know what folder they live in? Are all game saves in one particular place?

Why can't you just use Titanium Backup ?
Anyways its stored over /data/data
If you want to manually back up 3rd-party application settings and data

Laura, gracias. I had completely forgotten about Titanium. That did the job perfectly. But I didn't know about the other method. Plus, from your avatar, me dio la oportunidad en Wikipedia de aprender algo de Benicarlo.

Sys files you can mix different?
The hardware buttons are where? (volume, camera)? in the sys? in oem?

Hy guys and girls, well I have this problem and I am pretty worried about this as I don't think this is normal.
About 3 weeks ago I got a message warning about low storage memory when I was recording some video, I found out it was recording in the device memory and not in the memory card, I changed the settings and moved all pictures, movies and non needed stuff to the memory card, it appear that solved the problem, then yesterday I got the same problem again, however this time it was not recording the movies or pictures to the device. I dont know why but there was some old pictures in the Media100 folder, I moved them to the storage card, however this time I investigated further and I found out this.
From my total storage I have 181.23MB
Used storage is 138.64
Free Storage is 42.59
However as I investigate with Windows Explorer I found out that when I select everything in the root directory and count with properties I get 80mb. So I should have around 100mb free storage and not 42mb
Another thing: I searched and pinpointed this:
HTC Album Cache is ~20mb
Googlemaps Cache ~25mb
Copilot is ~19mb
With all the other small files I dont get to 70mb total, so were is the 10mb that is missing?
Is there another way to count data? Am I missing something? Were is the missing 58mb?
Did anyone had similar problem?

Feliz ano novo Felcas ! Cara .. tive o mesmo problema que você só que piorou .. agora não consigo nem entrar no sistema .. para no logo da HTC no boot ... se souber de alguma solução ou resolveu o problema .. escreve ae pq estou sem celular a quase um mes ! .. abraço !

Hi guys, after I had surfing internet for a while, I had found a workaround and successfully installed Google Play Services on my device (GT-S5300) with custom rom.
Credit:

Steps:
1. Download Gapps for your ROM here.
2. Turn off your phone.
3. Enter recovery mode and do Wipe data/factory reset. (Make sure that you have backed up everything.)
4. Flash the Gapps.
5. Wipe Dalvik cache and cache partition then reboot.
6. Get the lastest version of Google Play Store and install it.
7. Update all the Gapps via Play Store.
8. Then install Google Play Services and done!
Or open the Market (Play Store) and tap agree. Then press home and leave it awhile. After the Play Store is updated, open it and tap agree again. The new Play Store should download Google Play Services and install it for you.
NOTE: It may NOT working with some ROMs. Don't blame me!

Hola, me gustaria recibir ayuda, tengo un galaxy ace M, con rom evo x4, instale los gabs 2,3,6 y segui todo el procedimiento cuando reinicio el equipo me sale el icono de bienvenido, registro mi cuenta gmail y me sale un error que dice "La aplicación asistente de configuracion, android setupwizard se ha detenido de forma imprevista. forzar cierre" despues la pantalla queda negra, solo aparece la hora, la bateria y se desplega la barra de notificaciones. Como podre solucionarlo?

Need further explanation

- I have a clone S4 with Android 4.2.2, I downloaded gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip and gapps-jb-20130812-signed.zip
- On step 2 and 3, I am using Root Manager (ClockworkMod), I manage to enter recovery mode and wipe data/factory reset
- But then, when i want to install from SDCARD the gapps, both version got error invalid OTA. Flash mean install under recovery mode right?
Could you please reword, use layman term, suggest the apps to be used for this work. Thanks a lot for your help

Yes, under recovery mode.
AFAIK, you just need to update your Play Store and Google Play services (Shown on app drawer as Google Settings) after flashing the Gapps (Google Apps).

when i go into cwm and look for super su, theres nothing there says file not found, but when i check on sd card on my laptop, i can find the super su apk, what am i missing here, i assume if i can get cwm recovery up i have installed that correctly??

Menos um k alguem Saiba Como Fazer uMA Recuperação ... situacao Muito Complicada OU SEJA Perdi o movel.

This problem and a HTC ONE (htccn_chs) chipset: mt6582, the two cameras are 8MP ie there is no how to do a recovery ... has no information on xda for this model ... the only way and be able to make alterations in vold k files ... unless someone knows how to do a recovery ... very complicated situation or the mobile is lost.
