go to the recovery and backup your current rom,
~cooking at Kitchen, like deodex and others things
~ and make your rom flashable,

Well then it sounds like you shouldn't use that rom
To get your phone working again, you should restore the stock rom. After that, you can try other custom roms until you find one that works.

Just this mitnute rooted my GS3. I used odin and the CF-Root-SGS3-v6.4. Everything we smoothly, I can see Super User on my phone, however, I cannot see Clockworkmod Recovery anywhere on my phone. Do I need to install it separately?? Thanks in advance guys :good:
CF auto root is the recommended path to root, it won't install CWM.

Then u can flash custom recoveries. U dun have to use cwm. U can use others like twrp, philz. Btw dun use the apps in play store to flash the recoveries. Google search "gt-i9300 (the custom recovery u wan)" and find it.

It's recommended you flash a custom recovery regardless if u want to flash some mods or roms. It always comes in handy and you have the option to backup the whole system and create an image file, so you'll be safe, if anything goes wrong with flashing someday or you screw your system, you can always recover it with the custom recovery. Pretty amazing

You need to flash it with ODIN on your pc. Also your custom recovery that you want to flash through ODIN needs to be a .tar file
All done, thanks. just need some decent roms. can you recommend any??

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to recommend stuff here and advertise. Just look under android development and read the comments, I'm sure you'll fine a good one. Don't forget to backup your current system first and your data. When you're done, you can test out roms not worrying much about if they work or not

Mod Edit
As ^^^meeklosh^^^ suggests:
"Best" or "Recommend" ROM/kernel posts are not allowed on XDA.
Please test these things for yourself.
This is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion, and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.
Don't forget to make a nandroid before you start.

Just as the title states, can we flash MIUI using CWM? Or do we really have to follow their guide ( Which uses a weird one)?

Are we allowed to give links?
Here it is:
Guide in flashing: http://en.miui.com/a-203.html
Rom: http://en.miui.com/download-17.html
I haven't tried it yet, maybe it's something like odin I guess.

Hey everybody. I just wanted to point out one issue which I faced.. Actually still facing, while shifting from one custom ROM to another.
Getting straight to the point. Few days earlier I installed this custom ROM named "MERE" abv. For "most epic ROM ever" in my canvas a116 (HD)
But now when i tried to install another custom rom "miui v.4.6.27" the ROM got installed but every time I boot, the opening screen of "mere" pops up. I have wiped data and did all the requisites from the recovery menu. And yea another thing, when trying to enter the recovery too, the opening screen of "mere" is popping out before the options "volume up for recovery. Volume down for factory" comes to fore.
I would be highly grateful if some body can suggest a way to remove the opening screen of the previous ROM. Thank you
P.s. I use cwm.

Because MIUI dont change logo.bin. You need to flash stock rom or stock deodexed rom by cmahendra. Then install Miui. I dont know how to change in running android.

It also might not have included logo.bin. But I have tried cmahendra's stock deodexed rom many times. That will surely work. Just flash that and miui after that. No data wipe needed.

[Q]Reset all

Hi everybody,
My phone becomes slow and I would like to reset it completely. I would like to know how to reset it to 16/16 go (less the rom of course).
I take this opportunity to ask you what is the best ROM at the moment for the xperia z2 and the best kernel, I also think root the phone if it can help you choose the rom / kernel.
EliteKernel /w eXistenZ MM.
The best combination atm...
Existenz Rom for sure
DK about the kernel.
Thank you for the answers, but do you know how to reset totally the phone before install the new rom ?
