If you extract it in /home/user/unlt, the path to the .sh must be /home/user/unlt
so you have to type:
>[email protected]: cd /home/user/unlt
>[email protected]: bash ./unltlauncher.sh

Nice to see that there are some Linux and Mac Tools

Thanks alot now i wont have to run boot camp.

Awesome little tool.
Unfortunately, I keep getting
Code:
< waiting for device >
when using the "unlock bootloader" option and nothing seems to happen.
Any idea what is going on here?
EDIT: Figured it out. Had to add a ruleset for the Nexus 5. Ugh, not fun, but this tutorial definitely helped:

Nexus 4 update
Is the latest update, KRT16S available in your Toolkit? I flashed a factory image, the other day, using your excellent toolkit and it was KRT160.
Sorry, got it now, thanks!

Uhmmm, I'm not sure and usually people can ask any question within a thread as long as it's on topic. First thing to do would be to do a search within the thread and then ask. Since the thread is only around 5+ posts and no mention of T-Mobile then I thought I'd ask. With that said, I guess I got my answer. Thanks

thanks a lot.. awesome..

Sorry, I think I got a little defensive. There are some people who aren't..."helpful" when posting replies. You're right, it should work since its just scripts. I get a little nervous still when I unlock my bootloader on my phones. Thanks

Yes, you have to execute it everytime, or just type "bash" and the whole path to the .sh file. For example, if you have a folder called "nexustoolkit" in your Downloads folder, you can just type the following:
Code:
bash /Users/youruser/Downloads/nexustoolkit/unltlauncherosx.sh
But, if you do like this, it will start download all the folders again in your Home path (/Users/youruser/). That's why I do not recommend to do it like this.
You can also create a .sh file with the following and save it for example in /Users/youruser/Downloads/nexustoolkit/myfile.sh:
Code:
#!/bin/bash
cd /Users/youruser/Downloads/nexustoolkit
bash unltlauncherosx.sh
then to execute it you only have to type the following in the terminal:
Code:
bash /Users/youruser/Downloads/nexustoolkit/myfile.sh
This will not start download the folders again.
Hope it helps! :good:

[ Tutotrial ] Install either Ubuntu or Debian in any Android Phone without any app

This is a Tutorial to install either Ubuntu or Debian in any Android mobile without using any app
* Installing Ubuntu or Debian Linux does not format your Android OS or change anything to your phone.
The Operating Systems run over the underlying Android OS which continues to function as normal
Choosing your Linux OS:
There are few things you must be aware of before installing Ubuntu/Debian on youe Android Phone
Ubuntu does not support earlier ARM CPUs like the ones used in the Motorola Cliq. Samsung Galaxy Fit (ARMv6), Samsung Galaxy Y, etc.
( Reason behind this is , Your Android OS Kernel must support loop devices. Most newer Android smartphones/tablets come with this support so we can mount our Ubuntu image as a loop device. If not, you will either have to build your own kernel with support for loop devices or you can try an aftermarket ROM for your phone as most aftermarket ROMs come with support for it. )
You need at least an ARMv7 CPU like the kind found in the Motorola Droid, Samsung Galaxy S,HTC EVO 3D, Sony Experia Play, etc. most newer phones (Hummingbird, Snapdragon, Tegra2, etc.).So you can Install Ubuntu if you have ARMv7 or newer Processor.
If you have ARMV6 or any other moderate Processor don't be sad, because Debian supports the CPU on practically all Android devices, so if you prefer Debian, or you can't run Ubuntu, choose the Debian download link.
* If you're not sure what CPU your device has, look up your device on http://pdadb.net/, click the link under CPU, and read the line for "Supported Instruction Set(s)".
e.g. : My Phone which is a " Samsung Galaxy Fit" uses ARMV6 Instruction Sets.

Pre-Requirements:
Hardware Required:
an Android Phone
SD Card with more than 2GB of free Space
Android root environment:
Most important! Your Android device should be “rooted” because you need root access to run Ubuntu/Debian off your Android. If your device is not rooted you have to root your device.
Linux Operating System:
Download suitable OS from the following Link:
Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal)
linux.ubuntu-natty.tar.bz2 Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty)
Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot
linux.ubuntu-oneiric.tar.bz2 Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric)
Debian 6.0 Squeeze

Procedure ----------------------------------------------->
Step 1:
(Mount the SD card on your computer.)
Extract the .tar.bz2 file you downloaded to your SD card. You should now have a folder named "linux" on the root of your card.
(Unmount the SD card.)
Open Busybox Installer, and install Busybox.
Open Better Terminal Emulator, and install Better Terminal Emulator.

( If Prompt for Superuser Request then allow )
Code:
cd /sdcard/linux
sh install.sh
If you don't see any errors, Linux is now installed.

Step 3:
Open your terminal emulator.
To start a chroot session
Code:

To start a VNC session
( Firest you need androidVNC to be installed , then type the following in terminal )
Click to collapse
Code:
su
linux vnc
The first time you run VNC, it will prompt you to create a VNC password.
You can then use androidVNC (host: localhost port: 5901), or any VNC client to connect to your device.
Configure The VNC App as follows:
Note: The default desktop environment is icewm. If you wish to replace it, for example, with LXDE:
Run the following as root in Linux:
Code:
apt-get autoremove icewm- lxde+
Secure your Log in Password:
Please remember to change these passwords if you are planning on using the SSH server. Malicious people can do Very Bad things to your device if you don't.
There are two accounts included in the images:
root
Password:cheesecake
user
Password:dessert

Linux vs Linux Terminal Emulator :
Terminal Emulator only Emulates Linux terminal, but after Linux Installation you can get full features; more than just the limited commands which runs on Android shell rather than Linux Shell.

error not working
I'm getting about a dozen errors in the install process, all of which seem to relate to file permissions.

I get the same error. Anyone know how to fix it?
hey guys
Thanx to the author of this forum on debian on android. I had the same problem you see in the error logs above. the problem is between regular "mount" command and busybox "mount". you need to use the busybox mount. so I added the word busybox infront of every mount word in the script. eg. busybox mount -o , rw /system remount. the alternative is to delete the mount found on /system/bin so that the terminal will use the busybox one automatically on /system/xbin.
Thanks, I found that the version of busybox I had didn't install the mount comand. I had to use the smart installer and manually check the box to overwrite the mount command then it worked.

Nice work. I've been experimenting with Ubuntu some so I can run side by side w/windows.
Does anyone know if You can connect to the the ubuntu instance on your phone from a computer through vnc? I would like to be able to use a bigger keyboard and mouse to control it.
Edit: If I make changes to the Linux.img on my phone and just copy the whole folder to my tablet will it still keep all of the changes? (I will try it tonight if know one knows).
---------- Post added at 10:52 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:36 AM ----------
Ok you can connect to the phone from a computer. I used wifi tether and then just put the phones ip and the port into tightvnc and it connected. It took a minute to recognized the phone the first time though.

- try to install "busybox installer" first..
- when you open the app, it will ask to install busybox..
pay attention to "Advanced install" checkbox.. be sure to have it checked..
- you will found so many applets.. try to find named "MOUNT"..
- when you found them, see the triangle sign on the right-side.. click it..
- there are 3 options: symlink applet / remove symlink / skip symlink
pick symlink applet..
- press install
- after it's done, get ou of busy box
- back to terminal, repeat the step "sh install.sh"
i got stuck @ step 2 " please wait while booting ubuntu.img.. this may take some time ,,. "
i installed busy box , i got my device root

Try redownloading it to make sure it isn't corrupt.
You can also try a reboot, then try starting at the top again. I had it do that on my old phone and after a reboot it worked.
Also which version of ubuntu did you download 11.04 or 11.10?
no such file or directory errors
Hi I'm getting "no such file or directory" errors when I try the step "sh install.sh"
can't post pictures yet so I'll type up the short version
# sh install.sh
remounting /system rw ...
mount: no such file or directory
installing scripts in /system/bin ...
mounting the linux image ...
mounting prepwork...
mounting: loopback mount ...
mknod /dev/block/loop254: file exists
mount: invalid argument
mounting: setting up chroot environment ...
mount: no such file or directory
mkdir failed for /data/local/mnt/media/sdcard, no such file....
[done]
then the rest is no such file or directory
I'm on an Epic 4g touch rooted obviously
I tried putting busybox in front of mount in the script as suggested before
I moved all the files from /mnt/sdcard/external_sd to /sdcard
made sure mount is installed in busybox
Not sure what to try next. Guess I could make the folders manually and see what happens.

Team Infernal FakeCid AUTOMATIC bootloader unlock

First of all i want to thank captainrewind without his help and his device this wouldnt be possible, i didnt even own the device myself im just planning to buy it and with him offering himself to test everything, well we combined knowledges and made it all you need to do is simple:
Anyone wanting to know how this Started read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1984936
mdmower experienced issues with ril(calls and else) and contacts not syncing so i worked with him and we discovered supercid is responsable for this so the only thing you got to do is reverse cid(thats option number 3 on script) and you are ready to go, no need to relock bootloader!!, they are 2 versions of script one with recovery one without its your choice, the recovery one is pretty big 8mb and without only a few kbytes, screenshots below
the one with recovery

I have another script update. The temproot method is no longer used to change the cid after you're unlocked. Those procedures now assume you have superuser installed (root) and are much faster and more reliable.
My package still does not include a recovery image to reduce the size of the download, but I have included a menu option to install recovery - you simply need to download either CWM or TWRP and put recovery.img in the same directory as the script.
Special Note: If you run the script multiple times, be sure to remove mmcblk0p4 and mmcblk0p4.backup from the directory each time. I purposely leave these in case you want to make a backup. mmcblk0p4 corresponds to SuperCID and mmcblk0p4.backup corresponds to VZW__001.

The manual way!!!!
DO AN ADB BACKUP BEFORE STARTING AS THIS WILL RESTORE TO FACTORY DEFAULTS!
EVERYTIME WE SAY TYPE IT MEANS TYPING THE CODE AND PRESSING ENTER
SOME USERS ARE HAVING ISSUES TEMPROOTING. IF SO PLEASE DO FACTORY RESET AND/OR REINSTALL THE RUU BEFORE STARTING. Also, verify you are NOT using a USB 3.0 port by looking at the inside of the port itself on your computer. If it's blue, it's USB 3.0 and you need to use a different port.
Requirements:
•A hex editor
•Android sdk(fastboot and adb at least)
•Recommended 50% battery or more and usb debugging on
•Be updated to the latest ruu with sense 4.1 (version 2.17.605.2)
Quick how-to temproot (written by captainrewind):
Read here for some detail (FOR REFERENCE ONLY, all instructions are below): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886460
Download the file http://ul.to/h44f6vni
So lets start:
First, if you haven't already, download and install the HTC drivers.
On your phone, go to Settings -> Developer options, and enable USB debugging.
Next, go to Settings -> Connect to PC and change Default connection type to Disk drive and disable Ask me.
Plug your phone into the computer, and wait until it pops up asking what you want to do with the newly plugged in phone.
Close the pop ups and go press the Start button and type "cmd". It should pop up with "cmd.exe". Right click on it and click Run as Administrator.
Download this file with the fake backup in it.
Once downloaded, unzip it to C:\Root.
Navigate to the folder in the command Prompt by typing
Code:
cd c:\Root\stuff
Now that you're there, type:
Code:
adb devices
If your phone pops up in the list, you're good to go!
Next, type
Code:
adb restore fakebackup.ab
DO NOT click OK to the restore on the device just yet!
Now type:
Code:
adb shell "while ! ln -s /data/local.prop /data/data/com.android.settings/a/file99; do :; done"
(errors will appear, ignore)
Accept the restore on the device, then type:
Code:
adb reboot
(At this time, you are temprooted, and the phone UI will be in an unusable state, with temproot shell.)
After reboot type:
Code:
adb shell
Verify that the prompt is "#" (meaning root) or "$" (meaning normal user). If it's not "#", please start over.
At this point, you can optionally do this ONLY if you want to revert changes:
Code:
rm /data/local.prop
exit
adb reboot
if everything went right proceed to second part
2nd part(written by me)
Obtaining supercid
type
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p4
Close cmd and start a new one then type
Code:
adb pull /sdcard/mmcblk0p4
Open the file (mmcblk0p4) with your hex editor.
Look for offset 00000210 and you should see VZW__001 with your imei on the right
Change VZW__001 to 11111111 and save the file as mmcblk0p4MOD
Now go back to your command prompt and type
Code:
adb push mmcblk0p4MOD /sdcard/mmcblk0p4MOD
Type
Code:
adb shell
Type
Code:
dd if=/sdcard/mmcblk0p4MOD of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p4
If suceeded close the window and start a new one and type "adb reboot bootloader" then "fastboot oem readcid" and that should show you 11111111

If you experience issues with com.android.phone crashing when placing/receiving calls or your contacts refuse to sync, you may need to change your cid back to its origintal state (VZW__001). This is proceure 3 in the script and will not affect your unlock or data (perform a backup just in case though!).
After that you can install a recovery or root the rom following captainrewind post below

This is no joke people and it shows what a lot of support from those who came before us, a little persistence to try a combination of things, and collaboration can accomplish.

you would need to cd to the directory where the MOD file (the one you altered with the hex editor) lives.

Hey thanks! Already finished! I was really busy, but before that I actually exchanged my 7 inch for an 8 inch. Does this tweak also work for 8 inch? I am guessing it is because you just said Tab 4 without screen size. Also, you are aware that tab 4 7.0 has Marvell quad core chip while 8.0.and 10.1 has snapdragon 400, right? Just making sure cause you don't have this tablet and maybe you weren't sure.
I'm still deciding if I should keep my ipad and return this tab 4 8.0 or keep this tab 4 and sell my ipad. Ahh can't decide! There are both goods and bads..
Anyway, I'll try this tweak soon. I hope other users will also find this tweak helpful.
Thanks!

tweaks SHOULD be independent of screen size and processor, that being said the performance gain most likely will behave differently between the three devices

yep, ok i dont have a folder specific to the tab or tab4 sorry, it should work for the 8.0 and 10.1 as well.
So ran it on my 8.0, it completed and I'm able to boot successfully, however it was unable to set bootanim, it was unable to remove default bloat ( stated it was read-only), and init.log and the memory recovery.log do not exist in data/local/

You are rooted, correct?
did it install all of the prerequisite components? busybox etc?
you ran this through script manager correct?
chose the SU options in script manager?
did you go in and modify the nobloat.txt (per the instructions)
Remember I don't have this device I am flying blind abd need some detailed information in order to help.
I am rooted yes. I also had busybox preinstalled. I did run through script manager as linked, with su chosen.
I didn't touch the nobloat.txt at all, rebooted twice immediately and checked for the two files that didn't appear
The only problem I initially encountered was i am unable access menu of script manager, so i had skipped that step about the text size

you will need to modify the nobloat.txt file for your device (remember I don't have the tab 4 so the txt file is based on my tab3)
you really need to change the menu size so you can see the prompts and answer them appropriately it should work the only reason i can think of that it didnt is that kitkat behaves differently but it shouldnt as far as running scripts go. you mentioned read only which leads me to believe that the system folder did not get write access correctly.
ill look thru the script and see if i can find anything that needs changing

Any updates on this?
I'm eager to see if the "better network stability" helps with the Wi-Fi issues on the tab 4

Okay so after owning this tablet for a few days and running CM I wanted to install a Linux distribution on my Nexus 7 ( grouper) so I could use some Ubuntu image editing programs. So I installed Ubuntu and Ubuntu touch and found them extremely slow for a quad core tablet and the old always have to force reboot my device all the time. And so I decided to sit down today and work on Ubuntu 13.04 base and tweak it and make it run better on this amazing 2012 device.!!! And since I been a Ubuntu person since the 8.0.x days and having all the experience I have with Ubuntu I finally got it to a state were it runs beautifully on our nexus 7. And am going to share how to do so today.. Guide will be quite lengthy because I will describe step by step on how I got to the point with my Nexus 7.
Requirements :
- Nexus 7 (grouper)
- Fully charged device
- OTG cable
- Wired or Bluetooth mouse
Step 1 : Getting Multirom
First thing you want to do is install multirom, probably the most genius idea for this device yet.
1. Download MultiRom from Here.!!
2. Open the app and highlight these 3 options and install them and proceed to follow the apps directions. After that proceed to step 2.
Step 2 - Installing Ubuntu 13.04 via MultiRom
The reason I choose this method is so you can always return back to Android at the end of the day. And can easily remove Linux without the assistance of a computer.
1. Download Ubuntu 13.04 image for nexus 7 from Here.!!
2.*Place the image as it is in the internal memory of N7 or to USB flash drive
3. Reboot to recovery and choose Advance>Multirom>Add Rom*and choose Ubuntu*as ROM type.
4.*Then select the Ubuntu's image and confirm. Clean installation of Ubuntu is 1.5gb big, and takes a while (10 minutes?) to install.
5. Once complete boot Ubuntu by choosing it in MultiRom boot up manager and proceed to finish the installation.
Step 3 : Installing KDE Kubuntu Active Desktop
The reason we want to install KDE Kubuntu Active Desktop is because Unity in Ubuntu is definitely not ready for optimized use on a tablet. Where in my opinion KDE is optimized for tablets. Plus to me KDE is more easier for a new Linux user to understand than how unity is set up.
1. This command installs the basic minimal files to run the newer desktop. Download 200+mb
Code:
sudo apt-get install kde-plasma-desktop kubuntu-default-settings kde-config-gtk-style gtk3-engines-oxygen
2. Eventually, halfway through the installation, the program will ask you whether you want to change display managers. It is recommended that you stick with Lightdm, so that the onscreen keyboard remains the same.
Next, configure Lightdm to start KDE by default instead of Unity:
Code:
sudo /usr/lib/lightdm/lightdm-set-defaults -s kde-plasma
3. Finally, log out (rather than restarting or turning off), tap the Ubuntu icon next to the user name, and choose*KDE Plasma Workspaces. Then type in your password and log in. If you need an onscreen keyboard to type, tap the Accessibility Icon (a spread eagled man in a circle), and click*Show Onboard.
KDE will now be started. However, it probably needs to be configured for optimal performance.
Step 4 : Removing Ubuntu's Unity & Desktop
The reason why we would want to remove unity is because once your on KDE Kubuntu Active why would you still want Ubuntu's desktop that's slow as hell. so enter these commands 1 by 1 to free up disk space and remove un-needed files.
1.
Code:
sudo apt-get remove unity unity-2d unity-2d-panel unity-2d-spread unity-asset-pool unity-services unity-lens-files unity-lens-music unity-lens-applications gir1.2-unity-5.0 unity-common indicator-sound indicator-power indicator-appmenu libindicator7 indicator-application indicator-datetime indicator-messages libnux-2.0-0 nux-tools libunity-misc4 unity-2d-common
2.
Code:
sudo apt-get autoremove --purge unity unity-common unity-services unity-lens-\* unity-scope-\* unity-webapps-\* gnome-control-center-unity hud libunity-core-6\* libunity-misc4 libunity-webapps\* appmenu-gtk appmenu-gtk3 appmenu-qt\* overlay-scrollbar\* activity-log-manager-control-center firefox-globalmenu thunderbird-globalmenu libufe-xidgetter0 xul-ext-unity xul-ext-webaccounts webaccounts-extension-common xul-ext-websites-integration gnome-control-center gnome-session
3.
Code:
sudo rm /usr/lib/thunderbird-addons/extensions/[email protected]
Step 5 : Removing Un-Needed Apps [OPTIONAL]
Once done removing ubuntu unity and desktop you may want to remove some ubuntu apps like I did, helps remove some UN-needed apps that you should be using on a tablet PC.
1. Firefox Web Browser
Code:
sudo apt-get remove firefox
2. IM client - Empathy
Code:
sudo apt-get remove empathy
3. Disk Burner - Brasero
Code:
sudo apt-get remove brasero
4. Torrent Client - Transmissions
Code:
sudo apt-get remove transmissions-gtk
5. Scanner
Code:
sudo apt-get remove simple-scan
6. Mines - game
Code:
sudo apt-get remove gnomine
7. Sudoku - game
Code:
sudo apt-get remove gnome-sudoku
8. Text editor - gedit ( roaming cause we have kwrite )
Code:
sudo apt-get remove gedit
9. Document Viewer
Code:
sudo apt-get remove evince

Never mind, I got it working.
It's not usable without a physical mouse though. Because there is a bug where the left mouse button gets permanently stuck pressed down until you restart.

I believe Ubuntu 13.04 has been moved to the old-releases repo. Because of that you get 404 error
From terminal type
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
Tap Search, Replace
For "Search for" enter http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports/
For "Replace with" enter http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/
Tap Replace, tap Save.
From terminal refresh new repos
sudo apt-get update
I have another question. How to make Onscreen keyboard to run automatically in KDE? And how to rotate screen to landscape?
Thanks
So.. is no way to get it working on f2fs? is a pain to reformat the whole tablet again
i've installed Kubuntu as written but now i can't login to my account!!
only guests account can be accessed even tho the screem is only portrait
now i wonder if it's possible to delete ubuntu without tripping anything to start over

Sailfish OS was originally developed for Nokia phones and was named Meego OS. The project was joint collaboration between Nokia and Intel. The project was later dropped by Nokia but Meego enthusiasts picked up the project and continued the Meego project under Sailfish OS and INTEX was the first ever company to officially tie it's phone to Sailfish OS ROM. For further info checkout : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sailfish_OS and https://sailfishos.org/
This is the Alpha stable release still has many bugs so don't complain about it. Enjoy your newly built SFOS 2.0.5.6 for Xiaomi Redmi 2 device. This is not Android, this is pure Linux similar to Ubuntu based upon libraries from Android.
For Newbies who don't know the difference between Sailfish OS and Android OS respectively a here is a compact difference list:
1. Pure Linux vs Modified Linux kernel
2. A real multitasker vs Naah not so much of multi-tasking.
3. Store sucks vs Tons of Apps
4.Android apps support too. vs Only Android app is supported.
Change LOG (Compact):
1. Kernel Patched for faster bootup.
2. Wlan, BT, MultiSIM, PulseAudio,GPS fixed.
3. Jolla Store is enabled
4. Multi ROM support
Steps:
1. Go to TWRP recovery mode.
2. Wipe All data except media.
3. Flash CM-12.1 for Redmi 2
4. Flash SailfishOS ROM.
5. Reboot the system after wiping Cache/Dalvik Cache.
There you go. Your SFOS 2.0.5.6 is now loaded. To skip the tutorial touch upper left corner of the screen and clockwise till bottom left corner.
To debug and report error open terminal in Linux and type "telnet 192.168.2.15 2323". For Windows probably install telnet related services and libraries and use the same command in cmd prompt.
Bugs:
1. Front Camera doesn't work. Instead switching between them might lead to camera app crash, to resolve it switch back again to front or back cam.(Temporary soln).
2. Media Player will not play song, to resolve it do the following
3. 4G won't work (as of now). My 4G signal is too weak so it didn't work, my bad.(For JIO users : Go to Settings>Cellular Networks>Data Access point : Change Access point name from "jionet" to "www".)
4. Android Apps won't work (as of now)
5. Battery drain leads to bootloop
SFDROID (Android App Support):
How to install (For Linux Users only):
1. Download the RPM files mentoioned here
SFDROID:https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B8I9RnxIQmQea0xxU3puYnc4Ymc
2. Create a folder for these files separately.
3. In your device goto Settings>Developer Settings and set your password and note down the I.P. address for USB if you are using USB for file transfer or Wifi for Wifi file transfer.
4. Now go to the folder where RPM files are located and right click to open terminal
5. Enter scp *.rpm [email protected]"I.P. address for USB/Wifi": (Add colon ":" sign after the I.P. address, also if you are using USB for file transfer, use the USB I.P. Address mentioned in your developer settings and similarly for Wifi)
6. Enter your password you have set previously and file transfer would begin.
7. Now for USB connected phone open a new terminal and type telnet 192.168.2.15 2323 (If this is not the I.P. address for USB you can see the relevant I.P. address as shown in the Developer Settings of your phone and enter the same after telnet except for 2323(port number))

The CyanogenMod and Kernel isn't my proprietary it is the proprietary of CyanogeMod team and @ketut.kumajaya respectively. However the kernel has some changes made in accordance to SFOS and also I have patched it to decrease the boot up time delay.

It is not true, 4G won't work because ROM doesn't support VOLTE, and as far as JIO goes, it requires 4G and VOLTE for full activation.
Android Apps will work. That is what SFDROID is for.

@nrdnandan @ROCKY_ME
Here's the process for booting SailfishOS as a secondary ROM in MultiROM. Please put appropriate CM zip name and everything else is the same.

Read it again my friend, it is a bug or I may say a non-availability now. Ported phones don't support Android apps straight away, I will make sure in later builds Android apps work.

I got that from the OP.
Was just responding to that person's query whether android apps are working that is all.
Also the ROM does not seem to boot for me
Wonderful I was waiting for this, had good times with SFOS , but one provided by adeen-s was not booting from LP bootlader. Good to know that this does boot. I will wait for some time.. Let it get a bit stable. (Its still Alpha)
