[23AUG][FNG2][N9005] Simplistic Framework Note 3 V2.0 - Ultimate Customization! - Galaxy Note 3 Original Android Development

Please beware that this is a two part mod, you need the application and the framework files.
Introduction:
Welcome! If you ever had a note 2, you may know what this is all about. If not, I'll gladly explain.
Simplistic Framework is a modding project that aims to give the user a better experience, mainly through providing customizations to match each user's preferences.
If you're interested in the history of the framework, it started with the S2 with creating a ROM which had a few customization options.
It continued growing until customizations were added to a separate app, which was inspired by AOKP's ROM Control.
I bought the Note 2, and the first project was MultiWindowCompleteControl, which gave the user complete control of the applications in the MultiWindow Bar. Then I decided to build a framework rather than a ROM, and released the framework after about 3 months.
The Note 2 version was a big hit, and was very successful, and I thank everybody that was a part of the success.
I got the S4 in July this year, and decided to rewrite the framework using my improved coding skills. A test version was released for the S4, but the project was halted, and I sold the S4.
Come the Note 3, I decided to improve the framework even further, and rewrote about 60% of the implementations. To be honest, I'm very pleased with what I achieved with the Note 3 version, and I hope you will be as well.

I assume it would work for the deodexed version, but you should backup before trying.
Best of luck.

Actually, that's what should happen,
as you can see in the picture attached.
Judging by the bootloops you had earlier and now, I think you're using an incompatible ROM or a mod that conflicts with the framework.

Only work with MJ6?

You could try the deodexed (don't try odexed) version, but backup before you do so, and please give feedback if it works.

bro legend please built it for n900 ......

I love simplistic framework. I've been using this since Note 2, and I've donated via PlayStore immediately for this Note 3 version.
Just one thing, could you increase the maximum no. of toggles in a row to 8, just like the note 2 version? And could you add a white list option for "kill current app" action?

You are funny guy.. I buy Simplistic when i have Note 2 and now i must buy version for Note 3? Are you crazy man?

Hello and Welcome the the Disaster Team's Simplistic ROM Thread. Enjoy your Ride.
Some History of the ROM: The Simplistic Series was first founded by me, and the disaster series was found by my very close mate, Mirko. We joined forces to bring to you the best S2 experience.
Also a very honorable mention I would like to point out is our friend Bas, thanks a lot for your everlasting support.
Another Thing is that our ROM version is counted using Roman Numbers (e.g. I, II, III, IV, V..) and if some fixed are implemented into a current version, we call this a revision.
Simplistic Control: "Full Control over your Simplistic ROM!"
Simplistic Control is a Settings-like application, where you can control a lot of the mods implemented inside the ROM.
Accessing Simplistic Control is a breeze, just open your Settings, look under personal category and you'll find it.
Simplistic Control has a lot of features categorized to provide easy and fast access to control the mod you want, as of now, it contains categories such as: Lockscreens, Phone app, most Statusbar Elements categories, General Category, and much more. And each one of them has loads of options to play with!
Note: Most of the things you see in the screenshots are controllable from Simplistic Control

Note: Make sure to check donors list inside Simplistic Control in the about section.
Well, we honestly hate asking for anything from users, and that policy won't change, we will ask nothing from you. Tho if you feel like you want to support our work, you are free to donate.
We assure you that all donations coming are for the ROM development, expanding our work to benefit the S2 is our biggest priority.

The ROM installation involves the same procedure that all ROMs use.
Important: The ROM will always be a non-wipe, so that the user has the right to choose, however, we almost always recommend a wipe except if you want to install an update pack.
Instructions:
*Download the Zip, don't extract it.
*Move the zip to the internal sdcard of your phone
*(Root Required) reboot into ClockWorkMod Recovery (CWM)
*Use volume buttons and home or power button to navigate.Or use touch if you have the touch CWM. Choose Install Zip from sdcard.
* Then, Choose zip from internal sdcard. Navigate to the ROM desired, and select it.
*Highlight "YES" and confirm, then wait till it finishes
*Reboot and you're DONE! Wait till the phone boots.
NOTE: Do Not Fix Permissions, or else you will have problems.

OK first impressions abouthis rom:
Much much faster than any other 4.0.4 rom
Very smooth.
So far very stable.
I think that the team made a very good job.
I can say nothing about battery because its to soon for that.
One thing that its annoying (and this is personal) is the Jellybean contacts. There no option to delete all contacts at once, you have to delete them one by one. Also there no option to hide email contacts (you have to delete them).
So is there any way to have back the Samsung contacts?
This would be very helpful to me.
Well done one more time.
Thank you all for your great work.

& I'll be uploading at least 5 New themes to use with gDux 4.3 in the next few days!
gogolie's Dux v1.0 Change Log - (Duxter23+)
*Updated existing applications
*This is the sickest theme I've seen come to Verizon. Via T10 and some of my own changes- thanks duxter!
*Beautiful themed keyboard(s) thanks @Shaftamle (comes loaded with Ghost Glass Keyboard) and Dux's blue (as seen in screenshots need to add on with mod install available below)
*Removed outdated updateme/romcontrol and converted apps that wouldn't be upgradeable to user apps so you can remove or upgrade
*Made work or added a working version of:
AutoAnswer (answer calls with a whistle good for the car), Online Nandroid (I never leave home without it), Extendable Notification Toggles, Greenify, Flash Player, Nova Launcher, Ad-Free, Xposed & Wanam, Dropbox, ES File Manager & ZPlayer
*Fixed Native Tethering / Added All Toggles (Thanks @Surge1223)
*Added a couple tweaks here and there
*Made compatible for PMS and future versions of (enabled custom boot/shutdown animations & sounds)
After I was finished doing what I felt should be done (my aim was the most rounded in terms of battery consumption, speed and stability). But I came out with the fastest ROM available for the Verizon S4 with better battery life than any other ROM I've seen. OH and that is with a fully themed beautiful Dark AOSP feeling ROM from head to toe. My favorite dialer / ROM now period. Every App that comes standard has been done over and visually improved. TRY IT EVEN IF YOU NORMALLY DON'T LIKE THEMES OR THEMED ROMS IT GROWS ON YOU VERY QUICKLY. I was never a fan of the "3d icons" but this made me believe that somethings are just meant to be. The icons just need to visually flow with the backgrounds matching apparently. Has every customization available or compatible for TW4.3 Roms and will beat any ROM you throw at it in any benchmarking test or battery life comparison test.
This has been pretty heavily tested and no bugs reported from testers. (besides if your using the original or full version you'll need to change or download the english language pack for the samsung keyboard in the Settings-Device Input- department. if that counts as a bug lol...)
gogolie's Dux Slim & Full Screenshots (these are 1.0 still havent got 1.1.1 online yet:
Installation:
1. Download your choice of ROM
2. Make Nandroid Backup of current system in Online Nandroid or Safestrap!
3. Install via TWRP or Safestrap any recovery should work. Just make sure that if theres an option like "enable old script" be sure and enable it.
4. If your on SafeStrap flash your modules (MK2 preferable) if on a different carrier flash a MARC pack and if your on an unsupported carrier or don't have my MARC pack then flash something similar to it if available or your APNS/Modem/Kernel.
5. Restart, give 5 minutes for ROM to load 1st boot. (Your following boot ups will take less than 20 seconds.)
6. Those that downgraded from 4.4.2 will have best results using an upgraded modem and bypasslkm. But Downgraders - upgrade again and check out the brand new gDux 2.0 for 4.4.2!!!!!
New Downloads (these 2 downloads are identical ROMs different bootanimations vote on either 1 or 2:

gDux v1.1.1 - Bootanimation V2

AT&T Test 3 Non SS
You dont need to use a MARC pack if you are able to edit your own APNs and install a custom kernel (or stock if on Safestrap) the packs contain more of the files specific to each carrier but not necessary.

sweet hope u went off the wall n chose gDux but let me know how you think it fairs. if your interested in trying the MDK MARC pack I'm not sure it'd apply to this rom but its goal is to Make Any Rom Compatible... its still test version 1 but thats because 2 of my testers said it "works great" and ive heard little more.
MDK MARC test version 1
40mb its kinda heavy I'd call it the full version might rip it down to essentials like basically apns if necessary
might as well post the other packs for carriers if anyones interested in trying all still work in progress no promises, shouldnt hurt anything, meant to be a 1 flash all should enable all toggles, fix native wifi tethering/wifi, flash apns / cscs, gps fix usa, might end up in a bootloop with some ROMs. So if you cant figure out how to escape a bootloop or reflash/format forget about it. Feedback via PM plz

Hi! Most of you probably know me from my Project Infinity ROM on the same forum. I have now decided to start releasing some of the mods that I have done or am planning to do seperately so that they will work on any Rom! All of them are being done and tested on the latests version of my rom (G900TUVU1ANE6) but since most of the S5 apps are extremely similar, they will most likely work on any S5 device. I will post under that mod if one is confirmed to not work on a specific device. All of them are flashable unless otherwise stated. Some of the mods may also be updated individually with more features in the future. If I do, I will post a changelog under that mod. If you have any requests, I am always open to here them and will do my best to fulfill it. All the mods are either in or will be in my Project Infinity Rom. Enjoy!

TouchWiz Launcher ModDifferences:
-Added pullup (pull up from bottom of screen to launch favorite app, disable in settings)
-Added built in theme support (now accessable from launcher settings)
-Enabled app list view
-Enabled Folder Hovering
-Now you could use more then one line in folder name
-Disabled help text on empty pages
Download:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358548976
Themes:
It includes built in theme support now.
Instead of trying to include some random open source themes etc. It is much easier just to post links to some directories of themes!
Each theme is just a simple apk and can be installed just like any other app. Once its installed it will show up in the theme chooser in the launcher settings.
I have tested some of them just to verify that they do work with the launcher. Obviously I am not responsible for the themes since they are being developed by individual devs.
Best Theme Resource That I Have Found:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711245
I will try and update as I find more or contribute in the thread!
Screenshots:
Popup DisablerDifferences:
This is just a simple mod to disable the annoying battery cover and charger port popups for
those on a stock rom. Should work on both deodexed and odexed roms.
Download:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358548989
Sound ThemesDifferences:
Some sound packs that I have pulled from different devices to change the overall
sound themes.
Download:
AOSP - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358549020
HTC - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358549022

Xperia - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358549023
Dark AppsDifferences:
These are the heavily requested dark apps from the international devices. This is mainly for the USA variants as they come
with a light themed dialer and mms app. Note: it appears that by using the international mms, there may be an issue
with sending mms when used with wifi calling for T-mobile users.
Download:
Dialer - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358549034
Messages - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358549033
Screenshots:
Accuweather Widget ModDifferences:
This is a small edit of the stock Accuweather mod to unlock the dev mode options. This allows you to pretty much turn on and off anything
in the settings. Any other dev can feel free to use this as a base to edit and theme. I will perhaps eventually release other versions with
some images and other minor things change.
Download:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358550809
Screenshots:
Dialer Tone SoundsDifferences:
This is the first of many sound themes for the stock dialer. The touch sound (which is usually the annoying ripple sound) has been changed with
a slightly more pleasent touch sound from the iPhone. If you have any other sounds that you would like me to change the dialer too, please send
them to me and I will be more then happy too.
Download:
Stock Dialer (white) -
odexed - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358551150
deodexed - http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358551149
Ultimate Messaging ModDifferences:
This is the Ultimate Messaging Mod. So far I only modded the stock T-mobile (white) Messaging app.
I might consider doing the international (black) one later on.
- Displays Sent Time instead of the received time
- Raised recipient number to 200
- Increased Hourly Send Limit to 1000
- Increased MMS slide limit to 1000
- Enabled Emoji support
- Enabled screen on/off toggle
- Enabled settings for signature
- Enabled Vibration options
- Enabled Group Messaging
- Enabled Save/Restore
- Enabled Scheduled Messaging
- Increased recipient limit to Unlimited
- Enabled split view mode toggle'
- Might be more coming!

Confirmed that sound mods fail on flashing here with TWRP. I usually unzip and copy sound files to my ext SD card so not a big deal. Just that UI sounds need to be done manually. Now a MOD that would access system sounds for installing just like ringtones or Notifications would really be awesome.

There are screenshots in the op. Just go to the home page of the launcher, put your finger all the way at the bottom of the screen and pull up. The same way you pull down the notification drawer but from the bottom of the screen up. It will launch an app called pullup, just select any app that is listed and from now on that app will popup when you pull from the bottome of the launcher upwards.

That really wouldnt be a mod but there are many apps on the play store that can do that for you. With the Galaxy S5 it does mount storage much better than any of the past devices. I personally dont think that its neccessary to mount the device as a storage device anymore unless you have a specific need to.

If somehow you really like this module and want to support me, a donation would be much appreciated
This keeps me motivated for the future. You can buy a donation package on Google Play or buy me a coffee via paypal.
(Please note that the package on Google Play is just a donation. It has no function.)
Alternatively you can click here to donate via paypal
Nice module, good job.
A few notes
-the app list needs time to load but you are not showing a loading icon. At first I thought the app was broken, but when I clicked 'launch app' a few seconds later it showed up.
-why are you using gingerbread drop down list?
-if you don't need the v4 support library (which is included automatically) you should remove it and your app size will go down by 200 kb
Looking forward to the shortcut option.

-i know it needs some time to load. mentioned it in the OP. also the app list is not yet sorted and stuff and basicly just ugly.
i will rework that soon. as this is just a preview, i didnt focus much on the settings activity yet.
-i thought they might look a bit better, but if people hate them, i will change them
-thanks, will do that

-sorry I was in a hurry to try the app I didn't read the OP carefully
-it looks better, but the orange glow looks bad
And I forgot I'm running PA 4.43 (Android 4.4.4) on galaxy s4 i9500
Also why don't you use a preference screen and make each one a list preference? (PS it's now deprecated but works)
I would like to see this being developed further hence I've purchased the donation package on Google Play.
This module works on my S5 Omega Rom v7.0

Thanks for the update. Launch shortcuts works without any problem. Is there any way to disable the haptic feedback when touching the status bar?

I don't know. Check your ROM Settings, since i don't have any haptic feedback on my statusbar.
When I disabled your module, there is no haptic feedback but once enabled the haptic feedback is there. Anyways great job man!

Doesn't work on my G2. (CloudyG3 ROM) When I open the app initially a pop-up says loading apps and shortcuts but when I choose an option in the drop-down menu nothing happens.

Did wait for a few seconds? After 10 seconds the list loaded for me. (after the 10 seconds you have to choose a different options for the list to load)
I love your module. It would be super awesome if you could add some in-app action of your own; like scroll to top, page up/down etc.

I'm using m8 ARHD 8.1 and I had to unistall the newest version and install version 1.0 and it was working again for me.
You'll only be missing the ability to turn off haptic feedback for now.
