Bluetooth Smart / BLE - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello All,
I've heard from many sources (also official) about BLE availability on Android 4.3 (from software side) for Samsung S3, so just after last update of my phone I've just bought Sigma R1 HRM but... it doesn't work on ANY (I've tried five different) 4.3 ROM. Only CM ROM (4.3.1) could pair properly with this HRM. So this functionality was included in 4.3 or not? Maybe someone could help to pair BLE accessories with SGS3 4.3?
What's more interesting. my girlfriend's Xperia V could pair with Sigma on Android 4.1.2!!! I don't know how it is possible if it is one of key feature 4.3?
P.S. Just for info: Endomondo on Android cannot handle BT Smart, it is not connected with android version.

Help - Bluetooth 4.0

Let me start from the beginning. I have a Galaxy S III, Sprint, which as I know for a fact supports the low energy bluetooth (BT 4.0). I recently installed the [ROM][AOSP][Linaro]CarbonRom Nightlies/Releases [d2spr] but the stable release ( or most stable). After I installed the rom the BT 4.0 won't work anymore. I know the hardware supports because I used it before. I've been using it with the FITBIT Flex fitness bracelet. My question is because the hardware supports it, is there anything I can flash that will allow the rom to utilize the BT 4.0 software, with this ROM in particular?
Any help would be much appreciated! Otherwise I'll keep syncing it with my PC when I get home everyday.
Thanks in advance,
Your fellow mobile enthusiast.

ROMs which support ANT+

Can somebody post all ROMs which support ANT+?
I will use my old phone (mimmi) for my bike trips in order not to waste battery on my main phone.
For now I found only FXP ROM which support ANT+
I would also like to know! the best I could get was ICS.
The X10 mini uses a wilink chip (http://forum.xda-developers.com/hardware-hacking/hardware/ref-devices-ant-hardware-t2879990) which requires the Bluetooth stack to be patched. As the Bluetooth stack changed in Jellybean, ROM developers would need to get the new patch.

[Q] Search for Freelancers

I am looking for someone able to develop this library:
Our need is to connect 100 BTLE tags to a single Android phone running our app.
This is out experience on this issue:
Some producers (Samsung) has written specific BTLE libraries for Android 4.2, we have never tried them.
Google, starting from 4.3, started implementing BTLE, so any previous release has been superseeded and any other producer
libraries have been abandoned.
We have tried the Samsung S3 with Android 4.3, we got a stable connection but with a 7 bonded tags limit.
On Samsung S4 with Android 4.3, the connection is not stable. Bonding would fail often and it was difficult to connect.
Unfortunately the Samsung source code is not availalbe.
We then tried Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, but on Android 4.4 the maximum bonded devices is down to 4, which is even worse.
Since the stock Android (on Nexus) do have source code available, our idea was to rewrite a simplified version of the BTLE library provided with Android (bluedroid) which fix this limit of bonded tags.
We can use any other 4 or 5 inches phone.
What we need is to be 100% sure that the person who take this project do fully understand what we require of him and is capable to complete it.

[Q] Wifi tethering configuration files (Gingerbread)

Hello!
Device:
Moto G 2nd Gen XT1068
OS:
Lollipop 5.0.2 retaildsdsall reteu
To the point...
My vehicle recently connected perfectly to SE Xperia Mini Pro (wifi tethering). Apparently it had 2.3.3 gingerbread firmware. Till now it has been like 5 years and phones have improved. For some reason my car's navigation MZD Connect doesn't get it and communication with a local dealer ended with: "It is not possible in Finland", which is certainly bullcrap.
My Moto G is rooted, so is there any way to change wifi tethering configuration files to make Moto G Lollipop act like GB.
Looking forward to replies...
Best regards,
Mario
Any thoughts?
The development of MZD Connect is so slow and apparently they do not even have a bug tracker. I don't think they will fix it this year or next. I wish I could do something myself to improve my situation.
