Poweramp Equalizer Settings for best audio effect - Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro

hello everyone..what sort of equalizer settings you people are using for Poweramp (i have assumed most/some of us use poweramp ). i have attached my equalizer settings screenshot calibrated for headphone use (i do use these headphones samsung default/ creative EP630/ sennheiser HD202 and listen to diff. type of songs).. i would like to request poweramp users to share their settings so that we all can try out some new effects:fingers-crossed:Thanks in advance

Poweramp work on stock or do you have to rom? I'd like more bass in the standard equalization.

I recommend you Android Music Player. It havent got a good design but it fast, simply and size of them is about 1MB. Also you can download Songbird Music Player (with nice design). I thinh in google play store is now avaible google music player, but the size of this app i big
Sorry for my english
First of all, thanks for the suggestion. Do you know where to get a working version for JB (I dont mean the one from play store)?
Does songbird have DSP/Manager support?
yo can look here and search for the music player apps you need there are some for JB too
Mixzing 2.6.2 is only 1.17mb and has the better Eq settings of them all ( every song can have is own preset ).
JetAudio Basic - it's 6 to 7mb but drains as much battery as the normal player of androids, and has Eq, Wide Stereo, Bass Enhacement, Reverb and AGC.
PowerAmp - 3mb, Drains less battery than both of them and has EQ/Stereo Widening/Limit Compressor/Gain. This apk is paid xD.
These are the best.

Hey,guys, I just found a great solution to my/our problem: XingPlayer:
-Lyric support
-Album art support
-DSP-Manager support
-Great design
-Sleep timer
-Lockscreen widget/notification bar wiget
-And its only 2 mb
I tested Jetaudio Basic, and my first impression was "Dang!!! Great Player! Look at all the features!", but then I tested equalizer and xbass on my headphones and the Sound just completely crapped up (I was listening to Snow by the Red Hot Chili Peppers). This never happened to me with players that used DSP-Manager as equalizer . I havn't tried Sonbird yet, so we'll have to see with that one...

How did you use Jetaudio? remember that jetaudio already has an eq and all other effects, so you can't have dsp active if the player already has an eq, Eq + Eq = Colision of Eq's, so if you want a good sound don't use 2 eq's at the same time, don't abuse on the use of wide stereo and reverb and x-bass. Mixzing has an eq 2 and the very best eq settings because every song can have its own preset, and it's only 1.17mb, less than 2mb of xingplayer.
This are players to be used without a second eq, with second eq i'm meaning of Dsp managers and eq's that are not included on the players.
But if you want a good single player to work with dps manager, then you got these: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5qcnRzdHVkaW8ubXVzaWMiXQ.. less than 1mb, this https://play.google.com/store/apps/...=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5lbGlmZXJ1bi5tdXNpYyJd 1.1mb, https://play.google.com/store/apps/...GwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5uZXBzcXVhcmUuTlNQbGF5ZXIiXQ.. 405kb, https://play.google.com/store/apps/...SwxLDEsImNuLnZvaWxldC5nb29kdm9pY2VwbGF5ZXIiXQ.. 345kb, https://play.google.com/store/apps/...ch_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImtlLnBsYXllciJd only 153kb, https://play.google.com/store/apps/...SwxLDEsImNvbS5rYW5lLnhwbGF5LmFjdGl2aXRpZXMiXQ.. 2.9mb and has eq bass enhancement and virtualizer ( i think it would sound cool if you tweak the virtualizer and make nice eq settings with the player or the dsp manager ), https://play.google.com/store/apps/...DEsImpwLnUxYXJ5ei5wcm9kdWN0cy5tZWRpYXBsdXMiXQ.. 492kb and it's good looking, and i think that's all xD, tell me if you like some of those .

Thanks for all your trouble! I didn't even know there where so many good music players out there! My personal favourite on your list was MediaPlus player because of the style, the performance and the size. It would have easily beaten Xing, if DSP-manager had supported it: This is what happened: I killed DSP-manager and all music apps left on my phone (xing and mediaplus). Then I restarted DSP-manager and opened mediaplus, played a song, but DSP-managers sound effects didn't kick in, no matter how often I opened dsp and fiddled with the settings. The , I tried xing and the sound effects kicked in immediatly! Why don't you give it a try?

As for JetAudio, no, I didn't use Dsp, I actually deleted dsp to stop it interfering while testing JetAudio. Once I turned xbass and everything off, the sound didn't crap up, but then the sound quality wasn't comparable to a dsp-powered music application.

http://www.1mobile.com/equalizer-music-player-664712.html - This one without dsp just using its eq settings have very nice sound for me, for me i put Rock preset then slide almost all the way up the 3rd bar of the Eq then volume all way up and the bass in the left area almost all the way down, and important ( don't select any rverb effects on the bottom, just use the bars ) it sounded very nice for me, very loud with quality! but that was for me, i don't know if you would like the sound with these settings, give it a try . I'll answer to the rest of your post later, i'm gonna eat now xD.

You're welcome! Yes there are but the best ones are too much for our mini pro to handle :S, i always wanted to try Neutron Music Player but it always force closes on this phone :S. yes i really looks good, but if it doesn't support dsp that's too bad. Did you check every option of the mediaplus to see if it had anything to (enable) dsp or sound effects? About xingplayer it looks like the original music app that already is in the roms but the roms version is already 1mb or less and compatible with dsp, so i think for now the original music app of the rom wins.
Honestly i don't see what is the difference beetween using or not the dsp manager comparing to music players with eq and effects in it, i used both techniques and the results are very much the same, but that EQ music player is the one i liked the most in terms of sound quality/volume.
About jetaudio, i think that everything is pretty much the same, dsp changes volume but pre-amp of jetaudio does 2, dsp changes eq but jetaudio does it 2, both have reverb effects as well, so i think there is no real difference beetween players with everything in it and dsp supported players, at least i didn't hear the difference beetween both techniques.

Now, this is very interesting, because on my phone, comparing dsp-powered apps with preinstalled equalizer apps is like comparing night with day: I think DSP-Manager makes the sound SO much better, no idea why you don't hear any difference. Hmm...
PS.: Have you tested my Rom with nAa's new kernel (why the heck did he call it v02, when the older version is called v03?!)?

Did you try that player and eq settings that i just said?.
Interesting in deed, did you use the same effects with the same values on both techniques? i did that and the result was always the same. If i'm not doing the right eq settings then maybe you could show me the difference by making a screenshot or saying here the effects and the values that you put on your dsp. Remember i only listen to heavy music like rock and rapcore and stuff xD, it's (distorted) sounds, so it must be carefully tweaked, much more careful than any other type of music.
Ps: no i didn't, but i don't think that it's going to do much in performance or sound quality, maybe it just let's you use more options that weren't available. And maybe the name v02 is because he might based the kernel in the older v02 version being an update to that kernel.

I myself almost only listen to rock, but I like the bass being really powerful . I'll upload a screenshot with my DSP settings soon. One thing I noticed about the different music players: Only the ones where you press the menu button and have the option 'sound effects' or 'equalizer', which gets you to the dsp settings, actually make a difference with dsp. The ones where you don't have that option don't change the sound with dsp. I really would recommend xing to you, okay, the library looks exactly like the stock os player, and it's about double the size, BUT it has much more features and I like the playback style and the sleep timer (and the lockscreen). Also, when you press the menu button, it gives you the chance to go to dsp, which means that It DEFINITLY supports it!
PS.: Sorry, but at the moment I'm on stock rom to test a script I wrote for the guy in the wifi tethering thread. I think I'll reflash this evening and test the player, looks good .

Sound engine.

Sony Xperia Z3 sound engine.
Backup is needed. Set on a clean system (without sound mods). System sound engine for expensive headphones. Install : flash via custom recovery stage and reboot .
:good:
With the Viper, with the same settings much detalizirovannoi and better sound became, the need for pulse has completely disappeared, more stably produces different styles of music for those who do not like to Tinker with settings.
Can u provide some more information?
what...
Please provide more information
Depending on the file name, that could be a ripoff of the other Beats Audio settings. Besides, Beats Audio sounds crap, so no, I wouldn't install that.
Strange logic without trying not listening to judge the quality of the sound in absentia.
No, it is just that I know Beats Audio, and the only equalizer I am using in my speaker setup is the one that flattens out the bass and straightens the mids a little (not pulls it up the bass and highs like Beats Audio). I don't need to listen to that since I already know what Beats Audio does and I do not like it.
beats audio mod for "EXPENSIVE HEADPHONES" ??? DDDDDDDDDDDD whatta fu^k!? Why would anyone buy a decent pair of headphones just to artificially emphasize the bass!? Those kind of mods are for toys, not for real headphones.

1.music player ur using
2.mods ur using I.e v4a,Dolby etc
3.custom kernel to more enhance the music
4.ur configurations with ur mods or inbuilt music player customization
(It can be profiles of ur mods like for v4a or just share screenshots)
Here is mine setup,
1.Sony music player(aka walkman)
2.v4afx
3.inbuilt custom kernel in ROM with faux audio(headphones gain with faux tuning app:- left 2 and right 2)

Viper Clarity ON
Clarity: 3.5 db
Equalizer ON

I've attached my own custom profile
it is not too loud, but it has nice woofer feeling in headphone

Equalizer

Equalizers allow to modify sound color, and boost the volume. On my HTC, I had an equalizer stock which integrated with third party appps like Spotify, etc...
On the VIVO Nex there isn't an equalizer from stock.
Any of you installed an equalizer?
Which one?
Why did you install it?
Does it integrate your music player?

[APP] Real 3D surround music experience.

After extensive music search i never thought this music app can beat doulby atmos or other music mods likes v4a.
Yes i definitely say without tuning anything this music app is giving awsome music experience in real 3D sound effect.
Along with v4A this is cherry on ice scream.
Overview of app and settings :
https://youtu.be/EZAbeLawjgQ
Download the app: (unreleased free version)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tamalbasak.musicplayer3d
What app gives:
1) its a music app with great 3d equilizer control.
2)looks awesome with material desing
How to:
1)Open app configure it give all permissions
2)enable virtual3d and surround 3d tab
3)) set equizer as per u r Requiment but i recommend keep all stock because there will be some sound distortion
4)now all is done but if you want more great sound
Then u need v4A
Open app and Enable spectrum extension tab
Field surround tab , diffential surround tab, viper clarity tab.
Done
Now play music only via 3D music 7.1 app only
Feel the difference.
Specially how can i describe sound is like i am hearing music sound separated for each ear phones pairs sitting in larg cinema hall sound is coming from All directions that's aswome though such effects are available for doulby and v4a but here that impact is very good as compared to them.
May be earphones are also reposible for best sound.

Newest version doesn't need to do that.
How is the sound? Can u plz tell users
The sound it's similar to Dolby Atmos effect, more spacial if now the tool hasn't restrictions i test it again.
So this sound mod only works within the app and not on apps like youtube or spotify?
This sound effect was kind of cringy for me. Using v4a audiophile on liquidremix pie... Does this really sound nice to you guys? For me it felt like sitting high in a sewer... But there was alot of settings I didn't bother playing with, that's nice I guess... And why do I need to use magisk hide to run it

Its 3d effect is awsome but along with v4a is more awsome . donts use audiophile profile just enable tabs that i mentioned in video for v4a and keep all stock settings for music app too make sure virtual 3d and 7. 1 surround effect is enabled.
And then play music.

Disable developer option, hide app from Root in magisk.
Open app Configure it then after that you can enable developers option but always hide it from root

I hear a Ms latency only (differential surround in v4a) with this and audiophile, I'll try this with your settings and see how it works out
Over the years I have probably tried almost everything there is to try of the high-end and higher-end(Free,paid and costly)type music player applications out there.Currently running the 7+1 Surround Sound and 3D based X3 Music Player was in fact an actually startling surprise sound wise,I can recall. So natural, with an audio transparency so visible and audio tactile that I actually teared up from emotional sensory overload the first time I listened to it.And still may do yet,for the very same reason. But I will definitely also try this combination.
So only with mp3s and only with headphones? On top of that you have to install a module, disable dev options (cringy), hide from magisk just to open?
Basically this tells me "IF" this module were to brick my phone I would be SOL due to no longer having dev options enabled..... Thank you for the work but I'll pass on this one.

Its not deal breaking and it will not brick anything.
3d virtual surround sound is top notch as compared to any mod like v4a, doulby atmos or audiofx
