cm10.1 bluetooth headset problem - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Thank you for all the work done first. I am using samsung hs3000 bluetooth headset. When I install version 10.1 to music through headphones and other functions can do this but I can not perform my phone calls. Waiting for your help on this issue.

This has been discussed several times before, on cm10.1's thread. There isn't a solution avaiable yet, AFAIK. Go read that tread for more details

is it kernel related or rom related?

what did andresrivas just tell you? he told you to go read. ppl snap at me for snapping at ppl. but ppl like you and several others seem to have forgotten the basic concept of reading. you all seem to be afraid of that search bar, like its going to cause WW3 or something.
To answer your inability to read any one of the forums dedicated to ROMs using the 3.1.10 kernel. the issue is kernel related. however, krystian did just release a kernel with working bt on CM9. perhaps you could pull the kernel and apply it to CM10.1?

Rom Manager

Rom Manager is telling me there's a update for my recovery. Just wondering if anyone has updated it and if it's having any issues ? Thanks
No one ?
It's kind of difficult to answer a question when the question lacks pertinent details.

Seems like it would be pretty simple to answer with the info I provided. Open rom manager and if it doesnt say there's a update the your on the latest version and if thats the case how's it working for you ? Thanks for not providing any pertinent info. on the question that was asked.

Not using rom manager although i have pro from my DX days. Nor did I upgrade to the latest version. I havent seen a changelog of whats included in the latest version so I dont know whats new. The prior version works without a hiccup, as all cwm versions have for me. No reason to fix what isnt broken so I havent upgraded. I might download the newest touch version and give it a shot though, if I can find some spare time this evening. If I do ill post up some results and let you know how it goes.

Believe it or not, not everyone uses rom manager or CWM. The pertinent info that you could have provided would have been the version of CEWM that you are currently on and the version that out would have upgraded you to. In this regard, you'd be able to find out of the update were a step forward, a step back, our inconsequential.

You are correct. My apologies to the OP- I replied while dealing with another situation and vented my frustration inappropriately. The hypocrisy of my closing remark was painfully obvious and has now been edited to be constructive.

You can dispense with the Internet machismo. It really isn't intimidating or impressing anyone.

I haven't tried it out yet, but you're probably looking at bt bug, batt life issue, possible wifi issue depending on how he build the kernel/which epinter kernel he used, overheating, screen tearing on some devices.

No harm in the poor bloke asking... I only found that thread by googling and testing many different supposed Google diallers.
I found a working pixel launcher and gcam (with portrait) for Exynos the same way.
I rarely if ever venture much outside the S9+ forums and pretty much never visit the generic Android development and hacking forums.
