Compiling just crashed with the error below, I tought I fixed it since I used Googles Linaro Toolchain and ndk folder but it still missmatches, need to fix it to finish compiling, will report back tomorrow, need to learn for a exam now ....

The launcher will be Trebutchet since Carbon Rom is a modification of Cyanogen Mod
BTW: I changed Toolchain to 4.7 infected_ told me 4.8 compiled roms wont boot.

Yes he mentioned this issue in his thread & he said also that to compile using 4.8 toolchain, the kernel must be patched.
so work is in progress to find how to do

Support is one thing, running in ART mode is another. AFAIK, the only rom ART capable is OmniRom.
And i got a little worried when the Dev asks what's ART....

Flashed it again, same problem, stuck on bootanimation. I gave it about 15 min and rebooted but nothing.
I used the same download link from the beginning of the thread (not mirror)
Maybe try again and upload but use a different name, like test03 or something, so we know it is a different version.
If you do it, I will test it.

So I just flashed up and running seems pretty stable so far no problems. Pretty nice rom first time ever flashing this ROM seems pretty much like a stock experience without all the extras that are piled in like the other custom ROMs halo is nice and I like how the quick settings are. Only issue actually is like other aosp custom ROMs is when in a call if I turn on speaker phone phone will not work after I hang up and have to reboot but is same as others. Going to rock this for a while see what else I can find other than that smooth as butta

Nethunter is an android pentesting platform,
Basicly it uses chroot linux and vnc sessions but (kali) nethunter needs some kernel patches to work fully functional.(mac 80211 injection patch and keyboard hid patch(?)
I really dont understand about kernel stuff

I checked this long ago.
He probably didnt compiled kernel with custom patches so it is mostly useless.

It should. If not it just wont boot lol. Best way to find out make boot.img back up in twrp flash ElementalX no boot flash rom and gapps again or flash your boot.img back up.
my self been running it stock since i compiled it to make sure everyday functions work for a daily driver
