[ROMs] Smorgasboard of ROMs (PSX, Rastakat, etc, more to come) - AT&T LG Optimus G

This is a playground/playplace of sorts with all kinds of ROMs, such as PSX and RastaKat. I do take requests as far as which ROMs to build or features for the kernel/device-specific repos, however, my goal is to stay as true as possible to the upstream ROM, so most ROM feature requests will be denied.
Discussion and ROM Links available at the Sprint forum to consolidate everything. So far, for AT&T, only PSX is available, but more will be available as time goes on.
Hope to see you here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2543176

First ever

Fantastic!
I loved PSX on 4.3, can't wait to get home and install this one.
Edit: just want to day the PSX build is running great! Keylights aren't working (though I'd have turned them off anyway), and NFC doesn't want to turn on, even with the fix_NFC.zip, but as I currently have no use for NFC, its a non issue for me.

Don't know what you mean by upstream of ROMs..
I know houstonn is building ParanoidAndroid. I believe he's stopped doing Carbon..Snow does Carbon... So I'm going to choose a Nexus 4 ROM if possible.. Cataclysm if possible!

This is just awesome cant wait for roms to flood in based on KITKAT
Good luck xboxfanj and zymphad :highfive:

This is frigging awesome! Thanks guys!

Upstream means the ROM source itself. Any device has sources specific to that device (device source, kernel source, and binaries) and pulls the rest of the parts of the ROM from upstream. In other words, I would prefer not to have a feature request list for ROMs. I'd like to keep them as close to how the developers intended them as possible.

BTW, I should be able to build Rastakat for GEEB and GEEHRC today so the offerings are the same on all devices. Then, I'll add Cataclysm for all devices. Thanks for the recommendation.

I was having the same issue. I had to wipe as usual, i then powered off and went back into recovery and flashed fine. Not sure if powering off is necessary.
I use Brothaedhung's TWRP.

Flashed PSX the other day.
Overall smooth as usual, after all of the restorations/fixes (location apk, efs, flash google camera 4.4) things were very smooth. Minimal ram usage, which is perfect. A lot of apps aren't compatible/functioning properly with 4.4 yet, the only reason why I didn't keep it. 5 bugs (if you want to call it that) that I noticed during my time with PSX in particular, didn't flash Beanstalk yet.
1. Sms seems to not restore (it does, but then it deletes), not sure its a ROM thing. Im guessing its a Kit Kat thing seeing as it happened on every 4.4 build i've flashed thus far. Used "SMS Backup +" app.
2.Busy box says it installed but not the version I selected, dont know what that means or if its even a real bug but it still worked.
3. Boot animation doesn't change using 3rd party app (Boot Animations ★ root) Again not sure if its a ROM thing or app.
4.Faux clock worked as it should but faux sound didnt, is there a Kernel that we were supossed to flash or just use the one that came with it?
5. Good ol Maritime is back, doesnt affect anything, nor do I actually care but im sure it bothers some people.
Thanks for providing more KitKat options bro, I know it's still young but good job.

[ROM][JB] Team EOS 3 *JELLYBEAN* Nightlies - Grouper

Team EOSJB 4.1.1 GrouperNIGHTLIES
Continuing on from the success of the EOS ICS roms, we present to you EOS3, based on JELLYBEAN!
It is the goal of Team EOS to develop and maintain the highest performing and most stable AOSP based rom for an array of platforms. For the latest news on Team EOS releases make sure you follow @teameos on twitter and on IRC on Freenode in #teameos.

NOTE: Team EOS, it’s members, friends, dogs, cats, and associates are in no way responsible for any loss of data or device functionality. Use this at your own risk!
--
A quick note on Nightlies: NIGHTLIES ARE DEVELOPMENT BUILDS. They are automatically generated every now and then, and represent the compilation of the latest commits to the code repository. While every effort is made ensure that the commits that are accepted are stable and do not have a negative impact to the overall performance and function of the builds it is not possible to test every aspect of a commits impact to the overall repo prior to it’s inclusion in a given build. As a result it is entirely possible that instabilities may be introduced as a result of a given days commits. That is the nature of the nightly system, and the risk that is taken using the latest code changes to the project.
EOS is an AOSP based rom. It is developed and maintained by Team EOS and is the culmination of our own in house development efforts.
Team EOS Nightly builds: http://goo-inside.me/devs/teameos/roms/eos3/nightlies/grouper/
G-Apps Package
Because this is an AOSP based rom Google Apps are not included in the base rom. To install Google Apps please flash the following package after installing the base rom:
Temporary Gapps package gapps

Features:
Because these are nightly builds the included features are constantly evolving, we do not provide a change log manually. Instead please see the changes on jenkins for your build.
For the most up to date and comprehensive listing of the changes included in this rom please visit http://review.teameos.org
Kernel:
Kernel Note: This rom is currently using the stock kernel, so you can find the sources from aosp.

Installation Notes:
These builds are designed to be installed from your favorite recovery.
Perform a full wipe (read Factory Reset) prior to installing this over ANY ICS or JB based rom.
BUGS!
If you find strange or otherwise unexplained errors please report them here: https://bugs.teameos.org/ Please include logcats and as thorough a description of the issue and what lead up to the issue as possible. With out this we will be unable to track down these errors.

Good to see Team EOS on the N7 boat
One thing I seem to be having issues with every once in awhile is auto rotate getting stuck. When I come out of an app in landscape it remains stuck and I have to toggle to get it back to default.

This really eases the transition from the Xoom to the N7! Thrilled to see EOS here for sure! Is it necessary to use the gapps pack specified of will any JB pack do?
........Cornerstone.....?
Auto rotation doesn't seem to be working.
Update. The rotation sensor isn't functioning at all. Not working in temple run either. Maybe the driver is missing.
Also thanks for including the aosp browser. It's s much better than chrome. I don't know why Google didn't include it in the stock ROM. Its so much smoother and faster.

I was digging chrome, mainly because of the syncing between phone and computer, but lack of full screen was really pissing me off. I don't like opera or dolphin all that much. The stock browser is perfect. I haven't been able to side load it though.

[ROM][PORT][N5110] Liquid Smooth

Hey guys, I'm working on porting Liquid Smooth to the N5110 and am gauging interest.
Any volunteer testers?
So far, I've ported a copy based on Note 2 using Sbrissen's CM10.2 as a base.
Here is the link:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23203820527943718
You will need to flash this then gapps.
Please flash at your own risk!
This is a test only.
I am currently trying to get one built from source too.
Thanks goes out to Sbrissen for using his CM10.2 n5110 rom as a base. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391516
Also to the Liquid Smooth team who are helping me to build a source rom (coming soon).

It was meaningless, since it requires root access and I didn't have those. And I noticed that when I go into the active windows list (not sure what it's called) I noticed that the pictures of apps and the *kill all apps from the list* -button was pointing to my left when I was holding the tablet normally (home buttons down). I switched to PAC-ROM but I'm willing to try a new build when it's ready
So I changed the root settings from Developer settings to Only Apps and the root access started working and so did the Performance Control. I guess the problem was at the Apps and ADB -setting, so until now it's working great
New bug: The rom makes the tablet reboot randomly! And I have noticed the battery-life isn't so great but I suppose it's because of there is still cellular network enabled in this rom.
Was there any headway made? I love liquid smooth.

*the perfect rom*

After trying every rom on earth I think the perfect rom for me would be an officially stock rom (debloated) with an overclocked kernel (and more) and the T-mobile theme engine. I understand that as these stock roms become more complex it takes longer to make the custom roms bug free. It would be great if a group out there start making roms with just a custom kernel and theme engine added. You can call the rom T.E.K. Rom short for Theme Engine Kernel Rom. Can somebody do it. Also can someone add the T-Mobile theme engine to the SnowJB rom, I would much appreciated it?

Sorry, due to multiple XDA threads for the subject. I mistakenly asked on different(wrong) thread but I meant to ask here because the title says perfect rom. I may get same or different answer depending on who is looking at. Wouldn't mind suggestion from CM11 users; even not stock but if current nightly very stable running on all cylinder.

I like 1) official cm11 nightlies (updated a lot) 2) slimkat (it was smooth) 3) PSX (good speed) If i had to choose one it would be official cm11 nightly and use the neighborhood kernel.
I'm looking for cm ROMs that have working led notification lights...I'm using cm11 m3 snapshot, no LEDs..

Any kernel with the KnockON function?
what is a super slim ROM to maximize battery life and reduce the heat from background processes running on this phone? - like a minimalist ROM

I've been rocking houstonns aosp build using xposed modules getting awesome battery life. And it's incredibly smooth.
Making the iPhone jealous one user at a time.
forgive my ignorance - what are "xposed modules"

The Xposed Framework is one of the best things to happen to Android in recent times

because I go deep into buildings a lot, how can I get my LG E970 radio to default to or prefer the low frequency 700Mhz LTE bands 17 and 12 rather than 1700Mhz band 4 ?

[ROM] 12-29-15 Android 6.0.1 marshmallow For Sprint S5 SM-G900P (Kltespr)

ANDROID 6.0.1 MARSHMALLOW SM-G900P

HELLO EVERYONE!!! This rom has taken a kind of backseat for awhile, i do apologize on that! unfortunately at this time i just had a new baby girl enter my life and crazy busy hours at work, so i hope the current release is still working for everyone and im glad to see others still helping each other out!
Also i am SKRANTIX if your wondering when you boot up it says skrantix.. well thats because i named everything that not thinking about my name on here not being the same.. sorry..
This is my first time ever doing any sort of build for any android phone, and i know that there are other roms out there, but i felt pretty proud of myself that i was able to learn how to do this. Of course none of this could have been possible without the help from a few people, @T-Macgnolia, @DevVortex for helping me get the proper setup going and showing me/teaching me how to get things from git. @Prasanna V (Vega TaySailor) for moral support and also @albinoman887 for all the work he and his team have done to get this off the ground. Of course i want to thank cyanogenmod and team for all they do as well. Also this is my first ever post on xda of this magnitude so.. im sorry for the all over the place sloppy nature of it. Later on down the road i would like to incorporate other things into the rom.. but im not at that level yet
PLEASE NOTE, I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING THAT MAY HAPPEN TO YOUR DEVICE IN CONJUNCTION WITH MY FILES. THIS HAS BEEN TESTED ON MY PERSONAL DEVICE AND DOES WORK
When you flash this rom, the rom will do the normal, show boot animation for a few then continue into the starting apps process. After that is done it will go BACK to the boot animation for just a few seconds before it then fully boots up.. Just so everyone is aware and don't want anyone to think oh, its bootlooping when its indeed not doing so
What Works
Mobile Data ~ Calls/Text/MMS
Wifi Signal
Mobile Tethering/Hotspot
Audio
Google Now
Themes
Bluetooth Reports of stuttering/and or stopping
GPS
NFC
Gestures
Video playback/Audio playback
Internal SDcard mounting/External SDcard mounting
Camera/Video recording ( Video recording in my experiance force closes using the google camera app)

This just an all stock/ported MM build? Or is there any add or removed features?

Idk about everybody else but when I switch between camera and video in the Google camera app it says "can not connect to camera." Other than that, great job on the ROM! Thanks for your hard work

@NewWorldOrphan9 yes this is just a stock MM Build, at the moment there are no extra Feature's other than what has been added in with CM things
@bigfruits8188 Thank you kindly! Ive been having that issue also with the (if you are using it) Google camera app.. ive noticed if you use the "Stock" Cyanogenmod camera app for some reason it doesnt have any problems working.
Definitely gonna try this out. Thanks for sharing and for the work!

in my personal opinion, the things i have noticed that are different are.. system overall is much faster and fluid, transitions seem to happen a lot faster, i personally like that it now asked almost anything you do to allow or deny permissions for usage. the battery life is overall much better, the ability to optimize all or one app for better battery life/performance is a plus. I am sure there are things i am missing, but those are a few things i notice in day to usage
I just want to apologize to everyone, i wanted to have a new build out for you all today but i am currently having some building issue hoping to have everything resolved shortly. until that time, the current rom that is on here is still working and available!
Is native hotspot hack built into this rom?
