Katsbeat 4.4 T0lte - Galaxy Note II N7105 Android Development

This is a port from the CM build of 4.4 however everything to do with CM has been removed. Swapped DSP for Awesome Beats, swapped CM file manager for for Root Browser, swapped out camera for moto x camera, swapped out browser for dolphin. Removed cm settings and replaced with vanilla nexus settings.apk, added in Sony x4 video player, Nexmusic and 4.4 gapps included in ROM and a nice Beats Audio Blizzard boot animation.

I'm a big fan of the moto x cam. Best thing to come out of Motorola I had the Qualcomm error once but not since. I think its the timeservice.apk I took from another device. Just need to put the t0lte one back in that's just a guess though. Have u tried any other 4.4 ROMs with swipe? Just curious if they have the same issues. I appreciate the feedback so quickly. It is pretty vanilla at the moment but you gotta start somewhere

Sorry about that that's quite a lot. I'll swap out the timeservice.apk and see if I get the same error. I had it once on bootup but never again so I didn't think it was a big issue.

Hey no worries. At all. Always love trying out new Roms. Vanilla is good. Nothing wrong with that at all. And with xposed working again things are looking good. No stress about the error. It's not a biggie at all. As for the keyboard Ive only had that issue once on an early build of 4.4 but I don't use stock long enough to really worry ?? great work though brother. Very nice.

Any issues with proximity sensor not working at all ? In all other 4.4 roms I have tried this has not worked at all, meaning I have had to turn the screen off during calls to stop unintended button presses.

I'll have to put a link up for superuser. Flash that (you can grab it from any n7105 4.4 rom) so u get root permission and delete timeservices.apk and problem solved that'll save another 300mb download for you.

Downloaded rom - installed by TWRP v2.6.3.7 coming from lion rom 4.3 - no phone service and says baseband unknown. any ideas please - as this has been repeated no matter how many times I installed the rom. I feel it is sleek.

You have to follow the entire guide, including downloading adw launcher and setting up each individual tile with the correct app linked to it. I worked on it for a little while but quit figuring it was more work than it was worth. It's definitely not a flash it and forget it mod.

I totally agree, it cost a lot of work but it's not worth it!
Window Phone 7 is easier to mod, Launcher 7 and all Window 7 themes, notification, app, etc. But I switched back to Android User Interface cuz' I liked it better, it's still the best for me.!

So with the voice search working Google Now should be the same as on JB devices? Meaning it should have the colourful background?
I had installed it previously with these instructions (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1749045) and then updated with the zip made by the OP. Worked well and looked just like the Google Now on my Nexus 7 (colourful background).
But then I updated my Energy rom version and google now was wiped. Tried to follow the same steps again and I can't replicate the colourful background! it's just the white background. Any ideas?

This ROM looks sick.. I want to run this baby. but I can't seem to find the ATT 4.1.2 OTA that I have to revert to in order to flash this!
I'm pretty sure that's what I have to do. I tried flashing the newest jellybean software update and then flashing this but no luck! Any ideas guys? Maybe a link?
I love flashable zips, not great with LGPNT??

Yes, assuming you got there via OTA / LGNPST. The flashable zip won't work.
How do I get the OTA? And what ROM do I have to be on for the OTA to come up? Or find my phone? Is there a flashable zip?

Yeah, I've fiddled with it in all sorts of ways. I can't even adjust brightness in settings.

this is what happens when you come from being n4 converted also. have you recently done that then came back via lgnpst? does your phone storage show empty in your pc? also, you'd get your issue fixed alot faster if you went to the irc channel. here is the link. http://webchat.freenode.net/ channel name is #lg-optimus-g

Great ROM! No real problems except GPS was a tad slow to lock. I switched to Houcha Kernel v 12 and sped up the GPS. Thanks.

This comes from the base Miui Italy, is full odex, vibration working..( except navbar ) WSM tools and MI tools including, google stock kernel, tested and stable for daily use ...difficult to compare with the Pretoriano80 rom...the base is always the same, it must be proven
Awesome thanks for your work and time!!

I had issues with official version erasing my recovery and twrp not seeing my internal memory. Had to wipe phone and push stk.root. etc..
Please recommend recovery and address this. I saw others using official miui go thru the same. Thanks

Is GPS working on this ROM? I haven't run MIUI in years. Maybe I'll try it. Nostalgic!
