Installing stock firmware over custom ROM - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all i am using CyanogenMod ROM version 10.2. I want to go back to Jelly bean 4.1.2. Wanted to know if it would be possible to flash the 4.1.2 jelly bean stock firmware over a the custom ROM. What I mean is, would it be possible since what I am installing is a stock firmware and not a ROM. Thanks

Rooting CM10 / Jelly Bean (4.1.1)

Hi,
I am interested in installing CM10 or Jelly Bean 4.1.1. These are my questions : I have 4.0.4 + Siyah Kernel. I understand that I should install 4.0.4 related ROMs. But, here I want to install Jelly Bean 4.1.1 on my S2 I9100. How do I it ? Do I need 4.1.1 installed before I install CM10 ?
I understand there is no official release of Jelly Bean. So, it would help if you could suggest me something on this.
Thanks,
Satish.
You don't need to be on a 4.1.1 ROM. Follow the instructions on the first post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=29280423

I'm currently running a absolutely wonderful JB ROM with exactly that Kernel you're on. You simply must try this one. This ROM are built upon CM10. Take a look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846706
And no, you do not need JB running on your phone prior to install this ROM
/A
you can just flash it anytime to JB. no worries

try flashing a stock ICS v4.0.3 rom instead of 4.0.4 ma8, as ICS v4.0.3 is more stable for u
or u can try some ICS based custom roms like simplistic rom, slimICS, Wanamalite ICS etc and see

[Q] Install stock 6.3 lte kitkat rom with cwm

Hi guys. I don't have a pc near so I'm wondering if it could be possible to download a kitkat lte stock rom directly on my phone and flash it via recovery?
Jelly bean official rom would be nice too (I'm actually on liquidsmooth kitkat)
Thanks, best regards.
Unfortunately - NOT. Only OTA or Kies for stock ROMs.
If you are on KK you should forget about downgrading to stock JB lest you need new, quite expensive paper weight.
One and only exception is MegaFire ROM from @megalomanic14
