Hi guys,
I have upgraded my Karbonn A30 mobile from ICS to JB 4.2.2 with the guide lines mentioned in this XDA-forum. I have successfully upgraded to JB 4.2.2, but after upgrading Camera is not working on my Karbonn A30.
Can you please guys help me, how to fix this issue?
Note:- Camera is starting but not able to see any picture and also Gallery location in Camera app is not showing. When I capture any image, the screen goes to GREEN colour and it got hang.

Your camera is not working because you have upgraded from lower version to upper version. So update your camera driver also, If after updated camera driver your camera does not work then you hardware does not support upper version. Then you will have to use lower version for using your camera in phone.

Try using a third party camera app as camera360.apk from play store..

Hi All,
I have rooted my mobile and put Official ICS update .
After which I have upgraded to Jelly Bean ( Formatted my phone twice with Biftor ROM & CyanogenMod Rom )
I have notified that my camera quality has lowered and my photos are not coming very brightly.
They appear some what Blackish...
I thought it is fault of OS and i have put back Official Gingerbread which I originally had , but still I am facing this problem.

hallo, I have problem with camera 4.2. if I want to make a video recording, phone is blocked / FC. Restart will not work either. I have to flash again.

If you want Swype and you're otherwise happy with cyanogenmod, try installing a custom keyboard. You can get the official Swype app in the play store now, plus both the AOSP Keybord and SwiftKey have competent Swype input modes, and are both available on the Play Store.

Actually i was not talking about swipe keyboard... i was talking about the swipe function the touch less gesture function recently introduced in Samsung Galaxy S4 with help of Light sensor. My Sky Vega a800s have light sensor and with custom rom there was a function to use light sensor by which floating hand over phone change picture, music, menu and others.
Also sir i want to ask one more question about my other phone which is Xtouch X403 with chinese processor (MTK 6577)

i installed android 4.3 camera in the phone and for that i had to uninstall the old gallery using titanium backup but the new camera app keeps crashing whenever i touch the screen while recording a video
and now when i try to restore the old camera i cannot
can anyone please give me the old camera app so that i can re install my old camera

Now, I have upgraded it to galaxy V3 custom ROM :

Please help me in getting my camera app again

u can download another camera app from Google play
Download lenovo camera and gallery apk from google... as it is best camera app for 4.2
