]Hello everyone,
I'm sure there are many fixes for the Deep Sleep Of Death but certainly most of them did not work for me but after giving up trying, one method worked.
These are the methods to try revive your tab from its deep sleep,
Method 1:
1.Since you cannot remove the battery physically, this key combination will act like the removing and putting the battery back on.
2.Try starting your tab by pressing the combination Low Volume + Power .
3.Keep pressing this combination until the boot logo appeares.
4.Dont press not more than 30 Seconds.
5.Since you cannot remove the battery physically, this key combination will act like the removing and putting the battery back on.
Method 2:
1.Try touching the screen while pressing the power button.
2. Press Power Key + Touching the screen
3. Keep doing that for 15 Seconds.
Method 3:
1. Try emptying the battery by pressing the Power Key continuously then try charging it and then try the 1st method.
Method 4:
1.First connect the tab to your computer and wait for few minutes.
2. It took me nearly 5 to 7 Minutes.
3. Then you can see the Charging Screen appear.
4.Now do not disconnect your tab from the computer, try powering on your tab let, it should start working normally now.
I do not know what causes this DSOD, but after trying all of the above mentioned methods, the 4th method worked for me.
Good Luck, you surely need it :fingers-crossed:

Softbank X02T unbrick workaround

I sent my phone to Vietnam to unlock. I guess they could unlock (I’m not sure because, right now, I have no way to check). As a bonus they changed my rom to English but when i got my phone on my hand, I found out that pin 1 and 2 were soldered, the battery was used up (voltage was less than 3V) and it was not charging. I managed to charge the battery externally and after putting it back, when I pressed the power button, the green light blinked once and turned off. After some searching in the forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=680927), I found out that shorting pin 1 and 2 can wake up the phone and I could start my phone. Then I found out a easy way to do that. Here is the way I'm doing it now.
1. Solder pin 1 and 2 with 2 small flexible wires like the picture

}
2. Insert the sim and battery normally ( see the picture)
3. When starting, connects the two wires and press and hold the power button until Toshiba logo appears
4. Disconnect the wires and use the phone as normal(if you don’t disconnect, it will not charge).
Now you can charge, you can flash any English rom, do all the normal operations. Only drawback is when restarting, you have to open the back cover and connect the two wires again and disconnect.
Hope this will help unlucky X02t users until someone comes up with X02T's rom

Lenovo K910 black screen - adb not found - fastboot not working

Hi,
A few months ago I rooted my device and tried to change the ROM. I don't remember what I did but then I bought a Honor6 so I didn't use the Vibe Z anymore.
Today I wanted to get back to it. I managed to charge it and saw the Lenovo logo when pluging to the charger.
But everytime I try to turn it on I got a blackscreen. As i saw a logo I know the screen is not out.
I read this post : http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/lenovo-k910-stuck-logo-screen-t2936630 But it's a bit harder in my case.
abd devices : nothing
fastboot device-info / reboot etc : nothing.
I tried to hold the power button for 10+ seconds but it's like the device is rebooting each time (aka vibrations every seconds)
I sometimes see a red light, or blinking red light, or even blue light.
When trying to shut it down, press +/- and plug it to USB nothing happens.
When trying to connect it to my PC (Linux) I can't get the partitions. I can only get a few ones, 134MB and 67MB, not the 1+GB. In fact I see a Qualcomm MMS storage.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Bud
Same problem!
But my phone only vibrating on power on, screen is always off and I can´t see Lenovo logo anymore!?
In fresh xp, or win7, device manager didn´t recognize my phone, no searching, no nothing. I was remove battery and try to do same, connect with VOL- and other solution but still nothing...:crying:
Same for me too.
I plugged my phone to the PC to make a new try. After a few minutes I got a surprise!
Some partitions were mounted. But I still can't boot the phone...

Problem

Hi
I have the KII-L21 version & I put the case on the wrong way round, so I presume it was pressing the power button without me realising. When I looked at it, it was displaying an EMUI message telling me not to unplug the USB or press any key.
Hoping to 'save it', I plugged it in a USB connected to wall charger.
But its been sitting there displaying this message - see attached - for over an hour without changing.
Any idea how to re-boot from this screen please ?

Have you tried doing a hard reset by pressing the Power button for at least 10 seconds?

Yoga Book Service Menu

Hey I just played around with the Yoga Book and found the following:
1. turned it on until the error screen (when you unlocked the bootloader,.)occured
2. then pressed 'power' + 'volume down' which renewed the error screen which said this time it will boot the device in 30sec (instead to 5 secs of the first error screen)
3. after the 30 seconds and when the error screen disappeard I just pressed 'power' + 'volume down' 3 times.
4. the device booted in some kind of 'service / manufacturer menu'
without a keyboard it is just partly possible to navigate. you can use 'vol up' & 'vol down' to scroll up and down and 'power' to enter sth. It was not possible to navigate to the back button...
any idea what this is good foor, e.g. options like security boot?
also i was thinking if 'factory reset' would also help after flashing e.g. a wrong recovery. which would make testing some recoveries from e.g. the lenovo yoga 3 pro (which has the same chip set) possible.
adb seems to work in this menu, but I still couldn't dump the recovery partition(which is /dev/block/mmcblk0p4) because it always returns 'permission denied'.

Hi
what's the difference between droidboot and reboot?
how to get out from that to normal use

Can't boot into fastboot from Error Mode screen

Hello,
I have a Huwaei P9 Lite (2017) with unlocked bootloader, build number PRA-LX1C432B172. Both recovery partitinons probably got damaged and the phone just hangs in the Error Mode screen (just like in the photo attached). Rebooting and pressing any combination of buttons just causes it to go into that screen. If I discharge the battery completely, it will boot into system, but I forgot the password (stupid me). Now even when I am in the system, I can't use adb reboot fastboot, because USB debugging isn't enabled (ADB doesn't even see the phone), so all I can do is turn it off/reboot it, it then goes into Error Mode screen, then wait for it to discharge and I am at the beginning again.
What I tried so far:
- Pressing volume down (or up or both) and Power when in Error Mode screen -> just reboots into Error Mode again
- When completely off (discharged), pressing vol. down and quickly inserting the cable into the PC -> boots into system
- When completely off (discharged), pressing vol. up or both and power -> goes into Error Mode
- When completely off (discharged), inserting charging cable -> after a while, it boots into system
- When in system, adb reboot fastboot -> no way, can't even see it using adb devices
- Connecting it to HiSuite both in Error Mode and system -> it doesn't see anything
Data in the phone is my main concern. All I really need is one time fastboot access, I can figure the rest out on my own then
