Click to expand...
Click to collapse
hold the power button for 10-15 seconds the phone will reboot
That looks like the firmware flashing screen ...hopefully your phone got the update and will still boot up ..GOOD LUCK !!

go into bootloader and check weather HSPL3 is installed, (press Volume down button while pressing end call key when the phone is off) If it does have HSPL3, flash another ROM
that looks like winmo with sense and titanium turned off,
as above answer, put hspl on there and flash a diff rom.

Boot loop/Can't acess rccovery - After flashing Desire 816 DUG firmware to fix WIFI

Hi all,
After Flashing my phone with this rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-816/development/rom-official-marshmallow-htc-desire-816-t3323367/page36#post68415244
needed to flash this firmware
http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-816/general/ruu-lollipop-a5dug-firmware-to-fix-wifi-t3126905
to get the wifi fixed, but after that I got boot loop as I can't access the recovery mode as explained with these images:

That two buttons underneath are (reboot) and (back) but the last image only appears for 4 seconds so I cant do any thing even accessing fastboot!....The phone's still rebooting until this moment since I can't remove the battery..
Please help ...
Solved .. I waited until the battery drain then turn it on again connected to the pc with fastboot and everything is ok now..

Problem after starting device - no bootscreen

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to boot up my old smartphone Samsung Galaxy S3.
Then after starting the device, there comes this strange screen, instead of a boot logo:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But when I press the known button combination, I can access the download modus:
I tried to flash the latest official rom on this device, but after a restart,
I get this strange boot screen again.
Does anybody have an idea, what to do?
That is a hardware fault. Sorry to bear bad news but the phone has come to the end of its lifespan. Time to upgrade because it will cost you more than the device is worth to fix.

Question: How does android boot up process work?

I want to know how does it actually work. What partitions are loaded in first, how many steps does it take from power button press to fully booted android screen? I have a M31S phone running Android 11 with screen stuck on first logo but it boots fine and works even touch but the screen is strangely stuck on first logo screen which I find very odd. Download mode and recovery modes(Twrp works too) work just fine.
I just want to know more about the process of booting up to the system.
Thanks!
