The trick to getting ice cream sandwich on the tab is to put ice cream on the screen, then put cookies on both sides, then search the forum before you post.

+1 this is a great idea
Why is it people buy a media consumption device yet consume no media on it? One Google search, or one simple scroll would have netted you the answer you were looking for.
But, since my toilet is really comfortable I have a few minutes for ya. ICS- will not be released for another month or two. Then you have to wait for Samsung to adapt it to their UI, so basically you have about 2 to 19 months until you will see it on your tab.

Well i hope it is released in October. But yes it will be months later until Samsung codes it in for the gtab.
There has to be a word for the particular kind of nerdhood that Android tablets seem to engender. People who buy a $500 gadget only to obsess over installing the next version of its operating system.

Me .... I'm fine with my Tab, although I'd be happy if I were to receive an update that improves the Tab further.

Why all the hostility...This is what forums are meant to be, sharing information. You have I would like to have and Vice versa. Also are we not all always looking for the next evolution in the OS and it's new features. Yes I what my 500.00 dollar toy to have the best it could handle.

I would hardly call Samsung's 3.1 incarnation a smooth experience. Yes it works, but regular force closes are becoming annoying. So, personally, I would love to see ICS available for the Tab 10.1, and perhaps more importantly, the ICS source being made available for the devs to get to work

They are sweet. Play with webOS for a while, before putting on CM7. I promise its not as bad as you think. If only webOS had a good selection of apps ...
Android is nice, but gingerbread wasn't meant to run in tablets. Hopefully we will get some sweet ice cream soon. Its close, won't be long now.

Yea cm7 isn't good at all for tablets lol, i bought it cuz i figured more people would be buying them once ice cream got ported... that and i wanted a tablet tired of using a pen and paper for notes hahaha

Rezound has better hardware for the most part.
Better antennas, phone feels solid.
Both screens are 720p.
Gnex is 4.65", rez is 4.3".
Gnex is Super AMOLED, but pentile. Bright colors, but less sharp.
Rez is Super LCD, colors aren't as bright, but small text is very crisp.
Software:
Gnex has Jelly Bean. End of story. (Also has all those AOSP based roms like Cyanogen and AOKP.)
That's why a lot of people are trading right now.

There is nothing better about a pentile screen.
Very true. SuperAMOLED+ is non pentile, but the + version is too expensive for hd phones, so it's only on low res phones like gsii.

It doesn't really bother me, unless my eye happens to be about 1 inch away from the screen. I personally like the much more vibrant colours and way deeper blacks over having sharper text, that I only notice if I'm truly looking hard. I love the my Rezound, but I'm so much happier with the Nexus now.

The GNEX is so much smoother then the Rezound. If no one told what chipset was in the GNEX you would think it have the same thing as the GS3 or EVO LTE.
Everything is just so fluent on it and no lag at all...

Unfortunately the Rezound has become a red-headed stepchild for both Verizon and devs. And I agree with whoever said Jelly Bean is a game changer.
The OEMs are lightyears behind Google at this point with their stupid skins. Just get over it and offer multiple Nexus devices.

This is the best live wallpaper I've got to date. Very customizable. You can set it so it changes to different scene for the time of day! Battery saving option too(disable scrolling or slow down the scrolling), love it! Thanks for sharing.

God you guys are givin selfish guys like me a bad name gettin your girls note 3 and all!. J/K...I hope you enjoy it. I spent countless hrs makin it. I tried to get as detailed as poss..there are still a few things I have to fix and I have already themed a few more apks that I have to add but this I have to say is pretty dope. I love the colors. Gives it the minimal look. Please report back and let me know everything flashed ok.
