Jep, I read, just saying it to be shore. Then I think you try to FLASH you FROYO again and try then. It was worked to me before I was in FROYO! Was installed move2sd enabler, then run it, but EXTERNAL. Install app2sd, then JUST run it and you can close it. Now install link2sd(and OF COURSE you must be ROOTED, with two partitions in SD[FAT32 & EXT2]). And it must be working or you doing something wrong. SORRY!

finally I found the way to move the whole app to the sd card, i Have froyo 2.2.1 stock what you have to do is this:
-root your phone
-Make a partition to the sd card, FAT32 and ext2
-install move2sd enabler
then install move2sd and select EXTERNAL
-install link2sd and select ext2 and reboot
-after rebooting open link2sd and select the app you want to move, it say on sd (froyo way) select manage and move to phone select the app again and select create link, select the 3 checks, make the link, select app again, manage, move to sd card, your memory will increase a little bit with each app...
worked for me,,,

tried data2sd but it has many bugs
btw why the memory decreases slowly despite using move2sd enabler and link2sd ¿???
Well the cache and data keep on increasing as you use browsers and games....titanium backup has the option of moving data of each app to sd...if u have darktremors apps2sd there is a data2sd command

Your external SD is mounted in:
/storage/sdcard1
You can also download the awesome "solid explorer" from playstore. It will always correctly locate your external SD, no matter the Rom you are using.

[Q] Internal Storage Low Error Please Help ???

how can i get rid of low internal storage error ? i create a partition of my 8gb memory card, 1gb fat 32, but when i install couple of apps phone storage become low please help me out....???
Wut? 1gb for fat 32???
n what do u use for other 6gb??
What a wasting space.....
Sent from Hubble Telescope
Since you have created a 1GB FAT32 partition,do you use Link2SD to move the applications you installed to that partition?
Like the guide from Xperia Blog here.
Or,have you also run out of the 1GB space?
firstly you create 1gb or whatever you want as ext and the other leave it as fat32..
then use script from this thread..i recommend use int2ext+
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716124
:good::good:
要分清楚
你检查一下link2sd有没有链接相关软件,到底是安装到sd卡还是链接到sd卡!

Use Mini Tool partition wizard. Search it. It's a free software. Install it on PC.
Plug your sdcard with card reader. Open mini tool. Click on your removable disk (sdcard). Delete all partition. Make 512mb or whatever u like to be your ext4. N the rest is fat32 as your sdcard storage. Set both as primary. Click apply, wait until finish. Done. Don't forget to backup before doing it.

you also can create the partition using cwm recovery..
open cwm recovery,go to advance, partition sdcard and choose swap partition and ext partition...
download the int2ext+ script and put at system/etc/init.d...reboot..
then you will have the ext as /data
if your ext is 1gb then you will have 1gb internal storage..

Use swap only if u want to use swapper. If no, make it only 100mb.
You have 8gb sdcard, i suggest u create 7gb fat32 (primary), 512 ext4 (primary), n 100mb linux swap.
Link2sd is simple to use. As long as ur phone rooted n has init.d folder.

Phone storage too low

Hello. I am really not sure if this is the right place to post my query. I am sorry if its not.
I recently downloaded PikaOS2 ROM for my CHD A116i. Everything seems to be working fine for 2 days. I am really loving the rom. Last night I downloaded NBA 2k14 from a torrent. It is about 600mb file. To my surprise there was just an apk file of that size rather then apk plus data which I was expecting. I tried to install the apk but I always get an error saying not enough space. My default write disk is external SD card which has a space of around 5 GB available and my phone storage has a capacity of 0.98 GB out of which 286mb is available. I have no idea why its trying to install the game on my phone storage even though I have selected external SD card as my primary write disk.
I was also wondering why is there another slot of internal SD card which has around 1.76gb space and not even a single mb is being saved there. From what I can see is that this 1.76gb of space is going waste as I have never seen anything being written or saved on this internal SD card.
Anyways, can someone please help me installing the game.
I tried posting this on the official PikaOS2 thread, but it won't let me post there.
Thank you in advance

Some space is also occupied by phone (not internal memory)
Go to settings- apps -downloaded
See the space there
Delete/uninstall few apps n then try
I somehow managed to get around 550mb available after deleting some rarely used apps. Can i delete some of the google apps which r useless. Also i dont unterstand why the app is trying to install in phone memory when i have selected tge default location as external sd card

So i am having the same problem with updating the apps and installing new ones which aren't that big. Now I read at several places that, swapping internal memory with external, theoretically should give us enough space to install and run all the apps. I followed the instructions and did it successfully. However, the real issue is still there. The thing is with Canvas HD, there is an additional partition created by the name of Phone Storage. After doing the swapping process, I realized that Phone Storage is still the same. Swapping only affected the internal memory and external memory.
My question here is, Is there a way i can make the Phone storage partition to increase (from vold.fstab, maybe)? If not then, i guess i'm stuck with this low memory since i have deleted all the useless app and cant delete anymore?
Try to use data extension of internal memory becoz m using it now

How to move app+data to SD card?

I have rooted the phone just because I came to know it'll be possible to move all app and the data to the sd card after rooting and I can keep installing apps without internal storage space coming to and end. Now I dont understand how to do it. Somebody please provide a detailed tutorial or some link to such a tutorial. I am a noob, mind that.

It moved nothing to the SD card as the space before and after were the same on SD card. :/

If want to move user/app data (root>data>data) link from there, but beware because it could make the application unstable or slow.
Moving from (sd>android>data) will only move app data if the application stores it's assests at that location.
(BTW did not mean to thankyou)

Is there any alternative to link2sd? I cant pay for it (the plus version which has the data moving feature). And folder mount just makes fool of me and simply doesnt work. It does move but not in reality, no extra space on my SD card is consumed after it performs its job so its useless.

no u have to purchase it bro.. but u have one option there.. link all applications to sd card which u (partioned) via link2sd then download the game data.. it will automatically go to sd card.. if u already have game data on ur internal memory just move it via root explorer

link2sd is far better than folder mount... u dont need to move it one by one... select all then link all thats it
I got the plus version. It seems to be nice as of yet. But it's kinda confusing. There are 2 options.. Move to SD n create link. Move to SD does the same job as the one available in the stock app manager. It doesn't move the data. When I use the create link option, it gives me 4 options. I check them all n create the link. This seems to be working. Does this create link procedure move all the data and app to the SD card? And leave nothing on the internal memory?
