Is there any way to make the home screen landscape, while using Sense?
I can do it with Nova Launcher, but I am trying to "wean" myself into using Sense..

I've been looking for an app or way to lock the orientation of my Mini Pro in landscape mode even if the keyboard is not out, AND even if i have my phone standing in portrait.
i know there's an automatic orientation sensor that switches it to landscape if I tilt the phone, but I want the orientation to be ALWAYS in landscape.
any app? i would really appreciate it.

Use widgetlocker app..its perfect for locksreen in landscape or potrait mode.

UPDATE: unfortunately, its giving me forceclose errors when doing it in landscape. works fine online in portrait
installed custom ROM? adw has its that kind of option under system preferences.
adw can lock its landscape mode no problem, but only the homescreen. i want the LockScreen to be in permanent landscape too. I tried WidgetLocker for the Lock Screen but it works in portrait only and it forcecloses when i try it in landscape. weird.
i dont have custom rom. my phone is rooted though.
Using CM7 3.0 on my HPTP, running Zeam Launcher, is there any way to make the home screens work in Landscape? never bothered me on the Nook, but I use the touchpad case in landscape all the time...

Silly little problem but whenever i change my home screen wallpaper it goes back to original size and therefore will not fit my home screen. I'm assuming its using sammy's original tw aspect ratio that uses more than the one screen i have i'm also using apex launcher.

Coming from stock jelly bean on my Nexus I miss being able to go straight to Google Now with a swipe... if there was a way to add an additional icon to the lock screen for this purpose that would be awesome. Any ideas?
Put the Google Now (Google) shortcut in your dock. Not entirely the same, but works with a swipe

Honestly, I think I will be adding a shortcut myself. I kind of miss my Gnex swipe up.
This is what I do that has worked well for me. I use Nova Launcher to bring me back to more of a nexus look. Because I do this, I set my camera and google icons on the dock of my sense launcher and those two icons show up on my lockscreen, and this way I also don't waste dock space on Nova launcher. Works like a charm.

I agree, although I added two activities to the list. With Nova you can drop activities to directly access features of apps without opening them fully.
I use one activity from Handcent called quick compose. It opens a tiny window with a "to" field and a "message" field. Very handy. Also I use the toggle feature of TeslaLED to give me quick access to a flashlight.
Then using Nova I can have 6 completely different apps on my dock plus app drawer.
And today was payday so that rocks.

There is also Holo Lock for anyone who wants the stock JB lock screen, although it does not work perfectly...
I use apex launcher, much the same as nova. I have a Google search in my sense dock, so it shows up on my lockscreen.
It doesn't show up on my dock in apex. I set a gesture in apex, however, that store up items Google search. Makes it almost the same ad my galaxy nexus

Anyone know of either an app or an Xposed module that definitely works?

I don't think you will like what happens once you do that. You can't unlock or answer calls when it is in portrait. The wallpaper/statusbar shows, but that is it.
do you know of an app or module that does it though?
