I have made games for the Internet before but never for Android app market. Was wondering where to get started to make it mobile friendly.

Well if you are meaning the size for ur game. You can just pm to some developer for help.

Why didn't u write it in Java section?
In Android normal Apps doesn't have to know the screen size; like in swing, because there are differnt layouts and you can set width/height for each view to MATCH_PARENT, WRAP_CONTENT. If you use weight, you can use percentaages too.
You can read display size in pixels too:
Display display = getWindowManager().getDefaultDi splay();
Point size = new Point();
display.getSize(size);
int width = size.x; int height = size.y;
Regards

I guess what I quite can't figure out is making it and using the Android sdk with Java. I'm a old school note pad coder

Coding sth just with notepad is like cleaning you whole house with your toothbrush
Just try eclipse...it's easy. Much help you can find on http://developer.android.com

You can try MyMobiler
I'm unrooted, is there any way to get this without root?
Sent from my R800i using XDA
From Droid VNC server's Google Play page: "As of Honeycomb 3.2 there is no non-rooted display grab API, unless the package is signed by the manufacturer or operator."
In other words I doubt it is possible without root.
It is possible. In fact I am developing a tool which does that. Should be out in 2 weeks. I'll keep you posted.

I have seen an app, no idea what it was called. I think it was only for tablets, but I suppose that's what you have, sorry for being dumb if that was stated. If I find it I will tell you the app. It was free one day on the Amazon Appstore.

There's an app for this called remote web in case anyone wants to know

Yes there is, well kind of. Look at justin.tv app. I stream live from my phone all the time onto justin or twitch ( both same company ) onto my channel. Then just go to the channel on any comp or phone around the world. For example, download justin.tv app from app market. Create a free channel on their site, turn the app on and login then hit the record button. It'll say live recording, goto your site aka twitch.tv/name and watch.

Gallery Kiosk App

Im looking for an app that will work like a gallery but have search functionality but also limit functions of the tablet to just that. I want to be able to present our designs on tablets instead of our old 3ring binders to catch customers attn. If a combination of apps is required thatd be fine too

[REQ] alternative solution for one hand use keyboard

hello guys
Utmost ridiculousness SAMSUNG removed the option to use their keyboard in one hand although they gave a screen with 6.2 inch size. what we can call that???
any way, now we are in real need for solution for that.
could you suggest guys?
thank you
I use Thumb Keyboard 4 on the market. Set it to one handed operation docked on right side. Works perfect for one hand like my old note 2

Lucky for me I can use the stock keyboard with one hand. I actually really like the default qwerty on this beast.

Picsplay indeed is useful,n I too myself use it occasionally, but it's limited in feature, the profile photo i posted above can't be created on any photo editor softwear, I guess
