Screen goes black on my evo3d - HTC EVO 3D

so if I lock my phone and wait 5 minutes the screen is not working after I press the lock button, something is with the contact because when I press hard on the down left corner is working but if I relase it ,it goes black again. Is any method to fix it ? I need to change my screen or it's fixable? sorry for my bad english

Flat cable or conector issue. You need to dissasemble your phone

Maybe some more details to sort it:
- did the rom boot normal
- "down left corner" of what, the button or the touch display
- if you boot into bootloader or recovery, then is it ok, is the power button working, is the touch screen functional in touch recovery?

it's no the rom problem,in the corner where is het home" soft button
if I reboot to bootloader it's working if I press hard the corner, and the touch screen is workig fine in touch recovery

You can find lots of videos on youtube. My guess is you'll need a new screen if it's the cable. If it's the connector on the motherboard you'll probably need a new phone ?

wow,it's not a chance tobrepair this old?

You need to be very skilled to solder parts that small and not destroy anything. Anyway, it's cheaper to buy another used phone than to replace screen or motherboard than replacing anything with new parts. And if you buy another phone you still have spare parts you can use if needed or sell them to get some of your money back

Big problem with my One X+!! :(

Hi people,
i write here because i have a big problem with my Htc One X+, Internetional version....
Two weeks ago, i broke the screen of my phone.. Had the last official firmware, whitout unlock and root..
I bought from etrade site, a screen, the Sharp model for HTC One X+...
Yesterday arrive the shipment, but when i assembly all the phone, the touchscreen doesn't work... I write immediatly to the Support, but after 2 hour, the screen start to work! But it continue to have lock and crash, and i had to lock the phone and relock to can use it..
Yesterday evening, the phone was K.O. Don't want to work...
I can see everithing, but the touchscreen doesn't work.. I try to do a factory reset, but nothing change.. Now i unlock the bootloader, and i put a recovery, but without touchscreen i can't use the recovery!!
What's the problem for you? Can be the screen the problem?
Thank you to all, and sorry for my English..
U should start with checking the digitizer conection. Screen and digitizer have different conections usually so one can work the other can't . Open the phone up and check the plugs are they in the right position are they fully pluged in .

It's also acting like im pressing buttons when im not..
Is that a digitizer issue? Would a replacement help?
I have gotten issues like this before....
If you are rooted, I would recommend re-flashing the rom (make sure to do a full wipe) or changing the rom while you are at it
let me know if this helps...

Instead of saying "Please help! help!", you need to give more information about your device. If you can't do that, you are wasting your time and everyone else's because we cannot play the guessing game with you.
Did you pull the battery?
Did you try charging it overnight?
Were you using the Jbear kit on Windows, or Linux?
What stage were you on when your device went bad?
Did you install the HTC drivers?
Did you reboot your PC to see if that helps fix the driver issue?

It is not a hardware fault. As i am unable to switch off my phone with the power button, i have to pull out the battery
And when i connect charger the charging light keeps on coming even when charger is removed.
Any guess?
Hardware-based fault

Just bring it to the phone repair shop in your area, we cannot suggest much else.

No it doesn't, It only vibrates when booting up
but how could it be hardware fault? as i didn't even dropped my phone.
I was just doing S-off when suddenly removed usb cable removed accidentally, and till now no display.
I'm not sure but my best bet is that your lcd went. You could check to see if your connectors are in tact but that would mean taking it apart. I would suggest taking it to a repair shop I'm sure they'll give you a more accurate answer.

The Shop Keeper Removed and put the connectors back in but still the same fault
If he has another lcd try that one to see if it is in fact the lcd.

S-off
Since it happened while doing s-off on windows, isn't it more likely that the process that is not supported for windows--especially with a cable pull--would have mis-flashed the phone's bios?
Is it possible that re-running the s-off solution would correct the issue?

Help! Did I screw up my phone?

Hi could somebody tell me if I screwed up my screen repair? This was stuck on the phone and then I tried to get all the glass off of it but I don't know what the cable does. I bought the screen lens off of eBay but does this now mean that I've screwed my lcd digitiser now?!

You can check out nearest electronic shops,, or sony center..im pretty sure they have .. Good luck!
All you need is a micro usb cable, there found pretty much everywhere.
Use the same plug side if you can because thats the side that controls the voltage etc.
