Isis mobile payments - AT&T HTC One (M7)

Is there anyone that currently has a secure element sim that is rooted and would like to see if this works
I installed the root bypass apk from this thread, and I got by the root check on Isis, but I do not have a secure element sim(yet).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2482708
I want to make sure it is not a waste of time heading to the AT&T store if it will just fail anyway.

Where did you find the APK? My phone is listed as incompatible on the GP store so i've been trying to find an APK that'll work.

Why would you want Isis when Google wallet just works ?
Just used tap and pay at gas station to buy a nos no problems
HTC one newest firmware and arhd 40.3 with elemental x 10.2. !

You need to get their AMEX Serve card (free w/ no fee if you get it through Isis) and use that as they payment source. Since I'm new, I can't post links, so just google Isis 20% cash back for more info.

Looking for an App to record voice calls

Hi all,
I am looking for an android app that allows recording of voice calls directly from the phone and not via speaker phone.
I have tried many apps on the android market and they did not work on my Amaze with ICS ROM or they only work via speaker phone.
I know that MIUI had such a feature built-in, but, i have not seen it in any ROM's.
does anyone know if a good Android App on ICS HTC Amaze..
Note, i am not interested in the legality of this at this point, simply looking for a working app on HTC Amaze with ICS that records phone calls right from the phone directly.
We don't have one yet. I was just messaging a buddy about that. He hasn't seen one either. I too would be interested in this.

Is Google Wallet completely broken????

i havent been able to get it fully set up since I got this damn phone...first it was stuck on activating account...now its sayind my device isnt supported..wtf!! any help???
I am pretty sure what I have read they are trying to get something fixed before they activate it for our phone which is a bummer.
Yes it is. They claim to be working on a fix for it but it has taken them how long so far? I personally think they have just given up on our phone.
There are fixes, but I have still not been able to use it. At McDonalds last night it was stuck on Authorizing Transactions and today at walgreens it would never open the wallet app when I touched it to the terminal.
Works fine for me.
I called and they told me that it was a problem that they are working on but no ETA on the fix... Also it tells me that rooted devices are not supported which I think is BS

Not BS, a rooted device could pose a threat to the secure element of the NFC chip and could potentially exploit card data from it. Remember modders are not majority users, and storing credit card info is a big risk for Google to take.
Now it'll still work with root, but you are taking a risk that something could potentially go wrong.

I thought the same thing until I noticed that everywhere I shop except the grocery store has NFC compatible credit card machines, so google wallet would come on very handy if it ever worked. I find myself forgetting my wallet at home more than my phone, so for me this would be a great tool.

It comes up where the "your device is not supported for your carrier/country" is. At least mine did.
I actually had to install the gw update before it said secure element not responding.
If I were u and had a perfectly functioning phone I would not root it until the gw is up again. Live to flash roms on my og EVO, but this phone is so awesome without it for now I'm happy w it.
I'm sure people will flash away and heed no warnings. Just be careful out there my androodles!

No Google Wallet with root?

Hey everyone I just rooted and went to setup Google wallet it's telling me it's now unsupported since I'm rooted.
Any ideas? Or workarounds?
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
Did you get the unsupported device banner? I got that banner on my rooted Nexus but Google wallet still worked at check outs.
Yes it says unsupported along top. I'll try setting it up anyhow.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
Ya it should still work, least mine did. Used at mcdonalds and 711 even with the banner on display.
i read over in the EvoLTE forum that before you root you need to clear the data for google wallet IN THE APP (not with TB or anything else). And you have to do so every time you flash something. If you don't it is no longer secure
if you get the pop up saying the secure element is broken or something then google wallet is fried forever on that device. your not supposed to use google wallet and be rooted. i rooted and unlocked my galaxy nexus right when i got it and when i tried wallet i lost my 50 dollar credit and wallet access.

I have a galaxy Nexus and I know all about wallet. If you setup your Google Wallet on your device, even every time you load a new rom you have to clear Google wallet from within the actual wallet app. Open gw, then go to settings, then clear Google wallet data

So wait I am confused here. If I used the normal root procedure using odin, but already had it set up I can't use Google Wallet for secure transactions anymore ever, or is it just when I flash new ROM's? If I borked it when I rooted it, it would have been nice to have had that disclaimer on the root thread telling people to do this before rooting.

[Q] Which app to find my Android if I lose it?

I recently bought a Nexus 4 and I would like to avoid losing it.
I'm very careful, but being it an object of 350 bucks, I would like to be extremely careful.
Does anyone had a good experience with an app and can suggest it? I have no problem in spending some money on it, but it must work with/without internet connection (so I can save my phone with an sms if there isn't internet connection).
Actually I found "Locate My Droid" but I noticed there are various apps of this type, so before buying a PRO version I would like to know some well known names where I can choose from.

Google Wallet for all!!

I'm pretty excited about this. I used a hacked version of Google Wallet on my Verizon GNex and loved using it when I had the chance. I had all of my credit and debit cards saved to it and it was very convenient. I was sad to see it not work on the DNA due to Verizon blocking it, but Google seems to be changing their stance with Wallet. F U Verizon!! http://m.androidcentral.com/updated-google-wallet-app-coming-all-us-based-android-phones#comments
Verizon still wins. No NFC so it's basically like paypal
Nope just tired it. installs fine, but no NFC functionality. Still a fail....
I would be interested to know if NFC payments now work with Secure Element Sim cards! I know not a lot of info has been released on this new version of wallet yet, so maybe Google added support quietly?? Only one can hope....

So we have access to google wallet now, but no tap and pay, so it's not really that exciting. I guess it's a step in the right direction, but without tap and pay I can't see any real use for this.
