Is that wallpaper in the fourth screenshot part of the ROM? Any chance of posting it? Looks really nice.

Will this have the newest things merged? Since the Dev from PA is on vacations we can't expect anything officially added.

I don't understand your reasoning here since PA has officially released PA to the public without its trademark features themselves and is virtually identical to the build here.

Well done on fetching this to our device I was thinking of doing this myself but have not had the time, I know they released a beta version on Christmas day but this is far better, its always better to have something updated quicker from source and cherry picking. Ignore any negative remarks from any deluded members there has been multiple source build PA builds on multible devices for a couple of years and your thread is no different. Your doing a great job continue your doing your great work!

Good job, I'm glad you can finally share your compiling publicly again.
And as long as it's got unofficial in the title (which it does) and it's not in the original development section (which its not) then it's perfectly fine to compile and share your own PA builds.

Welcome to CMB Roms- CM done Better *or different... Dark Themed for his/her Pleasure
Why CMB?
We are just better , in a nutshell we set out to give you the best of CM, with none of the annoying features (see list below), all this wrapped in a custom black theme. We used the KISS principal when deciding what to offer, we based our frameworks on CM alone (not FrankenFrameworks like some others out there), enabling us to provide updates and bug fixes as soon as CM does. This doesn't mean we are only relying on them for development, it just eases merging.
Features
Based on Android 4.4.2_r1, CM11.0
All current features CM11.0
Customized Dark Holo Theme With Gray ActionBars
Dark Mms with Gray AB
Dark Calendar
Dark Contacts
Dark Dialer with Gray AB's and custom call log
Ramdisk security tweaks, you can adb as root now!
Bash "tab to complete"
Remount helper, in adb shell
Old
Code:
mount -o rw,remount /system
New
Code:
remount /system
Better Right??
We plan to add more features, suggestions are welcome (but sometimes ignored )

Back after an all to long hiatus! Sorry for the long delay in updates (life has been very busy). You might remember me from such devices as the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (rooter), TF700T (first released AOSP rom), Pollux_windy (provided fix for gps on aosp roms), LG Gpad 8.3 (first device tree/custom aosp rom). I am pleased to bring you CMB Roms for the Nexus 5! Ihope you enjoy this "craft brewed" rom, I sure love creating it

Any chance of implementing halo in the rom?
Thanks
I have been running this for the last 4 days and simply amazing. I have only one issue and that was the Swype feature on the Asop keyboard but not a major issue because I use touch pal. This is a great Rom with amazing battery life. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Why not just report the thread if you find it inappropriate in this section and let the mods do the judging?
getting a weird Settings FC. read on the G+ page that it was due to the network meter, but I have mine off and still get it.
only way I can pinpoint is that it happens when i have LTE on

Ah I understand. I was just curious if there was a difference between the two threads..
Updated to 16.2.1!
Find the changelog in the ROM in settings > about phone
Glad to see this. I used UB on my mako and it was the only ROM that gave that old bastard any life. Definitely gonna check this out. Does this by chance have left option for status bar clock?
Sorry for question : slim pie is present?
Looks good, I will try it and see how is works, thank you for your work!

Hi,
I just installed this ROM & Aroma Opengapp (http://opengapps.org/) and I'm getting google service FC. Is this due to not choosing android system webview in the gapp installation? Where is this feature?

I do not understand the need to use to force the gapps aroma policy. This is a limitation. Everyone shall be free to use gapps he wants

What I do not understand is why this ROM needs of gapps aroma and the other not. Because the other also with nano gapps can configure google account?

What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you’d ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they’re “baked in” by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone’s settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

We're on track still since MM (I called out from Carbon and convinced Arnav and legacy active members to start again AOKP, my old love).
Not really active on xda but rather on our G+ Community: https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/114009911819515408480
Thanks for confidence.
Great very smooth and stable construction. Very similar to AICP but without Ota Center.

But glad we have AOKP builds

Nice ROM, very smooth, thanks. But I miss normal night mode (with scheduler as in cypherOS) instead LiveDisplay and Selinux permissive support in kernel (for ARISE modules using, e.g. AM3D).

LOL Think we're always been like cousins, before both AOKP based (o.c.) and now both CM/LOS based.
Davor it's a good friend.
Update: added some screenshots on related section.
Running 7.1.2 since 15 with no errors, just dirty flashed 29th nightly and still rock solid. Appreciate the work and time.:good:
I'm a bit confused reading the title:
Kernel LOS-E.X.-T.M8
What does this stand for? At a first glance, it seems to be a "normal" kernel without any tweaking options.

Exactly the opposite: I picked the LOS kernel, added with all ElementalX optimizations and features and some commit from Team-M8.
Here explained the title (hope!). If you can wait some hour for next build (http://build.aokp.co/dibs/) it will have all the latest upgrades and updates.
You can take a look in detail here: https://github.com/AOKP/kernel_htc_msm8974/commits/nougat
Thanks.

May i ask if you also added the wake up gestures, especially the "swipe up to wake" when the screen is off?
That one is missing in almost all nougat roms...

Can I use the img in any other rom?
I see now that the movement requirement for DT2W is gone!
It's so awesome!
Does substratum work in this rom?

On next build S2W is enabled, together with other features. I'll do a list in OP.

Have some doubt about usability of mine kernel img on other rom... but you can try on other LOS based.
Yep, I hate HTC movement require. Now no more needed, thanks elementalX.

AOKP didn't remove SU. We like open source stuff.
