Beats audio - HTC One Max

Is there a chance to make beats audio working on our one max?? Can we just pull it from the HTC ONE??
Sent from my HTC6600LVW using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

I would be surprised if this doesn't get added...we just need to give it a little longer until more devs pick up this phone.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4

there are other audio enhancers that work..try Noozoxide in the Market..

I think the internals of the phone no longer has a beats amplifier and hence I wonder how effective the beats software will be. As suggest by others you can try other enhancers

The amplifier is a part I'd boomsound beats audio is really more software. I'm sure some dev will make a zip that can be flashed via recovery

Theres an app called beats audio installer is in the play Store and it works

I believe Beats Audio itself is actually a kernel feature.. If it couldn't be directly ported over in it's truest form then you have other options like "Awesome Beats" something like that which I believe is a port of Beats Audio..

Beats audio is only and only a EQ thing. Not so much.
AND THERE IS NO SUCH THING LIKE BEATS AMPLIFIER. Amplifiers that inside One, mini and max are produced by NXP and customized by HTC sound engineers.

i am also attaching the file here for the purpose of comfort.

It seems like the app has been renamed to Fantastic Audio Installer on the play store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.motioncoding.beats&hl=en
Be warned that installing this might create a bootloop or create some other issues.
Do a backup before the installation.

I assume you need to be rooted to use either of these..
sound is so good natively, not sure if adding beats even does anything to improve sound.

I have not listened much on the MAX but that's my first opinion. No talks about the speakers

[Q] Best Setup for audio

Hi guys, I recently bought a Vibrant with the solely purpose of using it as a music player, and I was hearing about voodoo sound and saw it in Google Play, and I was guessing... I saw on the description that voodoo sound is only compatible with gingerbread and CM7, my question is: this is true? That info is up to date? What is the best setup (kernel + Rom + whatever) for music playing purposes? Thank you in advance.
Voodoo sound and purchase the donate version to support Supercurio and Power amp is the best! Good Luck
Its compatible all the way up to JB

Flash moped ryders's beats audio zip file. The difference is incredible, these phones sound like ass without beats audio. You will instantly be able to tell the difference, it's a game changer.

Best music player you found

-updated
What's the best music player you found....audio quality...easy of use...and ofcourse better than default music player
Let me start first...
Denon music player for audio when you disable equaliser is the good sound quality...but the bad...it is not user friendly...and equaliser have to disable manually..the setting only for tune in...not for the app itself
And the other one is poweramp audio quality is good..but lower audio quality than denon music app....the one things I like about it is...the player is easy to use...the interface is good...
Just reviewed...ithink it is the best overall...player pro...audio quality superb...it blend nicely with beats...interface good...and yrs it is better than stock
Recommended
Tried winamp...not better than stock music player...
Tried double twist..the sound smear...well if you find good on your hox+ let me know
Neutron..is not intended for hox + smear
What do you think?

You can't go wrong with poweramp. It plays almost every audio file and has good eq settings.

Try denon and see the different quality of sound..
Sent from my HTC One X+ using Tapatalk 2
Tried Denon but it pays no attention to volume button, therefore volume is stuck at about 80%. Stock player at same relative volume has far better bass response on the Photek track I used for comparison. The stock player also seemed to have a more spacious sound and better stereo separation. No Beats used, useless thing.
Volume issue seems related to eq. Disable eq and volume toggle responds. Changed to Orbital track, in flac. Belfast, classic tune. Anyhoo, Denon has a very weak sound. Highs seem overly compressed and a bit too quiet. Stock player, no complaints.
Subjective question, so subjective answer. Stock is better.
I'm a huge fan of PowerAmp as well.
Stock HTC player, doesn't get much easier than that. Works great, never needed a reason to try another.

What about "Neutron Music Player"?
Yes, the interface is terrible, but the audio quality is impressive.
My most favorite feature is the 64-Bit audio encoding.
Give it a try.

I use high end In-Ears for $130. (No, I don't mean beats!)
The sound is impressive and better than with any other music player.
I never got smear sound or somethin' else.
Seriously, what's wrong with Winamp? Best interface ever, sound quality is awesome (especially with equalizer adjustements in Pro version), ability to browse collection using folders, .flac support... I've been using it since launch and I like it the best.
I like poweramp, I tried the stock player, and playing through my alpine hd137blue tooth they sound the same to me. My interiors are alpine type r powered by v-power amp, so I turn off all sound enhancements. I just prefer the poweramp UI, the stock player is too plain IMO. Admittedly though, the blue tooth sound quality could use improvement, my old desire z left nothing to be desired in terms of sound quality over BT, I miss it for that reason.

I wish, no Google music has some special file code that only allows Google Music to play the file, however if you give doubletwist root permissions on SuperSU it allows you to play your downloaded music, but again the audio smear is just plain annoying

[OFFICIAL][MOD] ViPER4Android (V4A) Audio Effects - FX v2206 & XHIFI v2009

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223
This is just a link to this Audio Mod to let people know of it's existence and that it is compatible with the N10. I have used it and I think it is fantastic. Not only is it a very powerful audio tweaking and improvement app it also allows the onboard speakers to gain more volume across the board and not just app specific.
I am just a normal end user so don't bother asking me any questions here, lol.
I just saw this line in the thread "To volunteers, feel free to share V4A in your respective device's forum or anywhere applicable. Link them to download here. Thanks." and I was so impressed with the mod I felt moved to do so.
Amazing audio mod. Had to set it to compatibility mode and everything sounds louder, clearer, and cleaner. (with some fine tuning)

Yep, I am really impressed with it.
It works better than any others I have tried.
@stonebear,
Nice work to share in the N10 forum..
For certain players if it still does not work in Compatibility mode, switch it to Safe mode and without a doubt it should work.
Don't understand it but it works.
Is it safe to use?
LE I mean in the long term for the speakers

As with any audio mod, or mods in general for that matter, you experiment at your own risk. I'm not saying that using this is "dangerous" by any means, but everyone knows higher volume and bass can cause damage if you're not careful. However, it should be common sense to determine how loud is too loud for your external speakers to handle.
99% of the time I use a good pair of studio quality headphones with my tablet for any music or videos so its not an issue for me.
Just wondering how you set this up?
I installed the FX version, installed the APK, chose A9/15 with neon. When I go into driver status, even after reboot it says:
Neon enabled: Yes
Enabled: No
Status: Normal
Processing:No
I can tell it's doing something when I'm listening to a song and flip the equalizer on and off, not sure if that's it though.

Simple. You can install both. Freeze either one of them using titanium or run both together.
Can anybody confirm what your "Music Effects" button in options SHOULD do? I click it and instead of letting me select, like on my phone, I get this.

With any audio playing app you must always disable the apps audio features such as built in equalizers. With MX Player: Settings->Audio and un-check Volume Boost. That is how my MX Player audio settings are and it works perfectly with V4A.

I don't believe those settings are where your problem resides but here are my settings anyway.
Settings->Decoder
- All HW items check except "HW+ decoder (10 bit)"
- No software or any other items checked on the Decoder settings panel
Settings->Audio
- The only settings that are checked are the two Fade settings and System volume panel
My last suggestion is to go the main V4A XDA thread and search on MX Player. That is how I confirmed which settings you need to make V4A and MX Player compatible.
