Installation instructions so If installing for the first time:
To install this ROM you will need to have an unlocked boot loader and a custom Recovery such as TWRP or ClockWorkMod installed
Copy the downloaded AOSB to your phone.
update recovery, is required for install android kitkat
Boot into your recovery
Back up your ROM
Enter recovery
Make full wipe "included "system"
[*]Select Recommended kernel for first install
Install the ROM
install GAPPS package - download it from here
Reboot - the first boot can take up to 2 minutes
Recommended to Reboot again after ROM is up for the first time
2 second to up ! and 1 second to restart or shutdown ! it is AOSB

i did not got you , there problem with aroma ?
I'm also having problem install..
It just goes from 0% to installed in a sec. and installer status: 6
On latest CWM.
Attempted to install and got stuck on Samsung model screen pre boot logo/animation.
Aroma installer was successful, tried with modified kernel and stock. But still would not boot, restored nandroid to my other 4.4.1 rom.
This was on CWM 6.0.4.1 non touch.
Can't wait to try this ROM.

I have the same issue
Aroma is not working properly.
It says it was successful but it doesnt install anything.
Looks like an excelent rom.
Is the updated aroma out?

Would it work with newer versions of CWM than the required one?
I tried flashing and it said I had no sim installed everything fine but no data

yes, ofcouse it would. Dont see why they would make a version to get something working and then in one of the updates undo it again
at least not with the recoveries. mostly updates come out to get newer stuff compatible as well, the older android versions will (always) still be compatible.
the mentioned recovery version is merely and indication of what version is minimally required in order to avoid bad stuff happening while flashing.

FAQ and Know issues:
device speaker is low
Probam samsung kernel support boeffla sound engine , so you can install it from this link and enable speaker tunning
when probam in black turn on , the systemui make force close
try to switch off black ui then restart and try enable it again
after dirty flash the device hangs and systemui make force close
you need to make wipe all and clean cache and make fresh install in this case
when try video recoding the device freeze or slow down
screen video record with ondemand or pegasusq governors u will have a laggy recorded video. If you try with performance governor from performance in settings , then the video will be a lot smoother.
Camera crashing some times and not works anymore "camera not connected"
the rom included an small application "camera restart" you can use it for fix this issue
titanium recovery not restore my applications
For those who cannot find their previous files, because CM based rom will target the sdcard storage to use root/0/ directory.
So normally all the files besides the root/0/ directory will not be shown on the file explorer.
To solve this, you will need a file browser that has ROOT capability, eg. Root Explorer
then go to mnt/shell/emulated/ all your file should be here.
Now move all the files into mnt/shell/emulated/0/ folder.
Should solve the problem.
Privacy guard IS working?
after enabling privacy guard in security settings
you have to switch to settings>apps and then choose to enable or disable each app individually.
I'm sure nobody would want to tick every single app, that would almost be the same as enabling airplane mode.

Becuase I used to have 390 dpi and luncher was giving me 4 columns and now I'm getting 5 columns.

1: Copy Rom and GAPPS to your SDcard (SlimRom Gapps is recommended)
2: Flash boot.img (in ROM zip file) fastboot & reboot into recovery
3: Enter recovery, Format System
4 : If you are coming from other roms, always do a clean install (Format system, Data and Cache)

Battery life is okay. Not great but good.

Smoothest Rom after AORP.
Pros:
1) The features are pretty good to work with.
2) Configurations are brand new.
3) Embedded Xposed framework gives more options.
4) Butter smooth.
5) Camera works with good picture quality.
6) Panorama works flawlessly.
7) Games like Temple Run 2, D-Day, Dead trigger works good.
Cons:
1) Battery life is average with LX kernel. (Have to check with other kernels).
2) Occasional wifi drops.
3) Faced FC in settings -> Sound Pack.
4) No option to change default installation directory.
I hope this review is useful.

no need to shuffle roms for few features, this rom has all collected features of omni,paranoid,cm,slim,aokp,carbon etc

Nope, and dont think any Kitkat ROMs are gonna have it either
Contact import problem
Before I formatted I backed up my contacts.
After installing this ROM I imported contacts and was all right.
But right after restart all my contacts were gone!!
so I re-imported the contacts and after reboot they were gone !
Can you please look into this bug?
Is it me or any one other facing the problem?

Clear dalvik cache and try once again.. This might do good..

Hi,
I'm glad you liked it,
- You can set different permissions per app in apps permission (it is more powerful and specific) but in privacy guard you can only determine if the app has access to your personal data
- Muli-user is a new feature and the original developer may fix issues or he might remove it. for our small space partitions that is a challenge to have more than one user!
- I'm not the original developer and AOSB team decide about what and where in this rom
- Since it is not an official build, OTA won't work and I will remove it in next builds

Yes it is, I love the recent app on this Rom, its remind me to my old HTC Sensation XE,

1. is this ROM same as the ROM that you said to me few weeks ago ?
2. Can you upload the boot animation to another place ?

I found navbar on-off! Psychic buttons superfluous / unnecessary in L9.

yea, GPS is very weak, i only got 1 satellite, but the "lock" is fast, faster than Mokee and Carbon

This rom and my all my roms is made by porting, you or others p769 should can do it too, Xerdox is one of people that has prove it with his RR rom,

Full guide is here, so start by reading it, that's what i did before porting roms
My tips
1. Find device with same CPU, LG L9 have dual core
CPU, so find it, for example, Motorola Razr(I'm used on
Mokee n Paranoid), Galaxy Tab 2(I'm used on Xperience, AOKP, Hellfire).
2. Forget about screen size(4", 5" or 7"), the important is screen DPI, it has to be used same DPI, LG L9 has HDPI, find it the HDPI device
3. Same OS version, KK with KK, JB with JB, special for JB, see the version of JB, example JB 4.2.2 with JB 4.2.2
4. Make sure you have installed software on Windows/Mac, for porting, you may need just 2 software,
- Note++(for editing build.prop & other files like .txt, .bin, etc)
- Apktool (for decompile n recompile .apk n .jar files)
5. Open mind
6. Don't give up, if you failed in one rom, try another rom

Installation instructions so If installing for the first time:
To install this ROM you will need to have an unlocked boot loader and a custom Recovery such as TWRP or ClockWorkMod installed
Copy the downloaded AOSB to your phone.
Boot into your recovery (use latest version of Philz or TWRP)
Back up your ROM
Enter recovery
Make full wipe "included "system"
Install the ROM
install GAPPS package - download it from here
Reboot - the first boot can take up to 2 minutes
Recommended to Reboot again after ROM is up for the first time

You mean to use Discovery ROM's blobs and kernel, right? Well, that might need a lot of work. Not in my priority for now.

recovery not working too
@kashifmin please also take a look at the recovery button on the reboot option its also not working... It just reboot the device... Also the theme part its not working... Specially when you install highonandroid theme it force closes. Is it really default that you cannot install on your sd card? Btw this is a great rom a game changer on its own...looking forward to use it again will be changing to stock as of the moment since i need the navigation while driving...btw does the magnetic sensor works here since a919i has magnetic sensor that i use in compass if not could you please enable it just like that of your cyanogen... The only reason i cannot use cyanogen is the camera but here at aosb it works perfectly... And some sites cannot be access like that of *wink wink* site haha ( hope you get the wink wink site haha) thanks ...

Reboot to recovery is a error in aosb. Its to be corrected in framework. Not all themes will work as every theme can't support device framework. Sometimes rebooting after applying reboot which will reduce some error

Even i had faced the messaging fc and gmail fc i had enabled on screen nav bar so i disabled it and rebooted my phone evrything wrking fine since then

after using the rom for a while it sometimes shuts down and auto boots up when i charge it and gets stuck on the aosb logo screen
