I was having problems with my old S2 skyrocket so i decided to look around Best Buy mobile.. It seems 2 of the associates are really trying hard to sell the ATT black g2s so they knocked it down from 100$ to 50$ with a family line upgrade.. Not too bad with a phone with crazy specs . Excited to join the g2 xda community.

Not to be a bummer but I just got mine for 39.99 by price matching HH-Gregg ad. Maybe you can get it price matched??? I got my girlfriend an s4 for the same price. $49.00 then they gave us a $10 gift card and applied it to sale.
The G2 is a great phone so far. SO FAST
Costco has it fir 29.99 and yes best buy price matches ?

Oh wow thanks for letting me know.. So i just go into best buy and tell them costco has it cheaper? Do i need a ad from Costco? I thought 50$ was cheap because the best buy employee said the price goes up to 150$ after Saturday.
Ok pulled up the Best Buy price match policy ... I can just get them to pull up the Costco Website .. Both Costco and Amazon have it right now for 29.99. Thanks for the info guys.. This info just bought me a case for the lg g2 with the money I saved!

And it ships in 24 hours....unlike the previous 3-4 week window. Since they didn't have it when I wanted it, I had to go to BB.
Best Buy has a deal for this phone...You get a $50 gift card with the $200 + contract purchase. And if you give them your phone, it's an additional $50 bucks too. So it actually costed me $165 including tax out the door. Not sure if it's the same as Amazon, but just FYI.
I have all of you beat. When I got mine from Best Buy, they gave you $50 for preorder, $100 for trading in your OG Evo, and I had $25 in reward zone gift cards. So I paid a whopping $25 for mine!

A EVO 3D running sense 4.0 will bring you the same as a 3D running 5.0 or 1.0. Its still a 3D regardless. You could put lipstick on a pig all you want and it's still a pig.
BTW...I too had my 3D running on the ONE s Rom and the experience on the LTE is much better, Its night and day.

I ran Sense 4.0 on my 3D for a while and I must say the experience is a lot better on the LTE. My 3D also bathed in some Crown and Coke, so it needs a thorough cleaning before it's back to normal. All in all, I'm not at all upset about my upgrade. I've been due for one since April, though.
I really hate that verizon told me that they were shipping my phone to me via fed ex even though I went into the store to preorder. I now have to wait for fed ex to drop it off so I am on their time until it arrives. why have a store that just makes me order it the same way I can do it myself. I would much rather have the phone in my hands at 8am when they open on wednesday morning not 2pm when the fed ex driver gets done eating lunch.
other things that irritated me about the preorder experience.
1. they dont accept Cash
2. they tried to make me sign the ipad for my receipt... I made them print me one and give me a pen (just to be a prick more than anything)
3. $30 upgrade fee? wtf is that... once I get the phone I'm going to call and get that removed since its a bogus charge for a 13year VZW customer... you dont even need to call and activate anymore all I need to do is swap my sim from my nexus and put it in the DNA so I'll ask them what the $30 covers cause its not VZW store employees who are accepting my order and helping me "activate" or set up my phone which they shipped to my house.

I'm not sure why you would pre-order today as you won't get it for 2 days, if you wanted to pick it up at 8AM in store why didn't you just wait until tomorrow and go in and get it? I never heard of anyone pre-ordering in store.
Also, Verizon has been charging the $30 upgrade fee for a while now, but only if you buy it subsidized.
I preordered last week on Wednesday... I always do it in store cause I always upgrade a different line than my data line... Call me old fashioned but every once in a while I like to interact with other people and not a computer.

My tracking just updated... I might get it today if it comes before work... No one knows about this phone other than people who follow android so I doubt you will have a problem walking in and getting it.

I'm the same way, I always go to the store to order new phones and accessories.
My question though was why you drove to the store to pre-order it when you could have just driven there tomorrow morning instead and know that you can just pick it up then and there.

about a month ago i upgraded to a s4 out of pure necessity (my nexus died on me)
so i went to best buy, bought my phone and didn't think anything of it.
then a couple weeks later the One got announced and i had been waiting for it for months so i decided i was going to sell my s4 on swappa and use that money to get my one...i just got an email today from the guy complying about a sticker on the inside of the plastic back that according to him, best buy only puts on their refurbished phones...
anyone else have this sticker??

The picture doesn't work. But if you knew you bought it new than you should call bestbuy and tell them that they sold you a refurbished one but I doubt that they did.

Mine is new from Verizon with the sticker on the back door. They all have those. The att one says att on the back cover. The T-Mobile one says T-Mobile. The s3 and note 2 also have these stickers

Just an FYI. If you already bought a V30 from verizon, between 12/1/17 and today, give them a call and they will give you the discount retrospectively. I was upset when i first saw this because I had just purchased the phone. They gave me the discount as a "price match".
Just got a call back from them saying they were wrong and can't give me the discount. wow.

Would this also qualify for the $400 back from LG on a second device?
Has anyone been able to get the discount in the store? Currently the site says the discount is online only but I cant seem to use the local pickup option when upgrading online.

Does anyone know why this is AT&T LG V35 would be wrapped in this box instead of the regular black phone box? I'm concerned I bought a refurb when it advertised as brand new. The guy who sold it to me said he won it in a "contest." Maybe some AT&T reps might know?

Back in 2015 I won an AT&T LG G4 in a contest, and sold it on eBay.

You probably do not even have the normal 1 year warranty, since you didn't buy it new from authorized retailer or carrier.
But you got a great price. Otherwise you would have bought it new from AT&T, right?
A few months ago, I bought a new in box US998 from a friend who bought two from B& B&H Photo, like I did -- due to the $400 rebate if you bought two. I needed two (for me and wife), but she didn't. Her husband wanted to keep his old phone. So, she sold her 2nd one to me (at rebate price) because I wanted a spare. Of course it didn't qualify for the 2 year warranty like the my other two had. Because I didn't buy that 3rd one from B&H Photo, she did. Even if she had registered it for warranty before selling it to me, it would be her warranty, not mine.

I won my current V30 in a Droid Life contest... I was able to activate the 2nd year warranty by emailing LG. I had to be persistent with it, but they did activate it for me. I realize that is not the same scenario as you, but it may be worth the effort to reach out to the LG warranty team and present your case for the 2nd year.
