1) Download my GRAVITYBOX & XPOSED FLASHABLE ZIP!
2) Place KK-MX-GB-XPOSED-2.9.3 into Internal storage
3) Reboot to Custom Recovery
4) Backup my ROM in custom recovery. <- just incase!
5) Once Backup is Complete, Flash KK-GB-XPOSED.zip
6) Reboot system
7) Launch Xposed from app drawer and follow the instructions to activate Xposed framework
8) Soft Reboot.
9) Run Xposed installer, go to Modules menu and activate GravityBox by checking the checkbox
10) Soft Reboot

im thinking the same.. im not a 100 percent sure tho ... i just go the phone myself .. should tho .. tmo version seems like the dev version just with a locked bootloader.. if im wrong some1 let me know!! :good:

not sure if u could use twrp for 4.4 ... i believe twrp 2.6.3 should work tho u might be able to use 2.6.3.1 .. like i said im new to what can and cant be used with the moto x .. i took the ota to 4.4 used the latest twrp ..built this rom .. flashed it .. and all is working great :good:

Its based totally on the stock ROM , so everything work purrrrrffeeeectttly.
Just for those who flash it, works on 1058 , you need either play music or Apollo. If you dislike the T-Mobile gap between the WiFi and battery icon, I believe there's a system ui in the themes threads that works. But nice job. What can we expect in regards to mods?

I Directed you here to make sure you Read a this post BEFORE Flashing v 3.0 TEST. Dont report these issues
Its a TEST Release and will have following minor bugs otherwise its fully functional to be used as daily driver..
First Boot takes Long and you will see a Message Unfortunately, SystemUI has stopped. Dont worry, Go to Settings>Date & Time> Select 24 Hour Format... Status bar will Appear in 5-10 secs. Time will show 12 hr time even if you select 24 hr. for time being this is easily ignorable
As you see your Status bar, REBOOT ONCE.. that is a must.. After reboot everything will be fine...
Settings background is black..

I was just wondering, how come ROMs nowadays doesn't include complete instructionson flashing anymore?.
There seems to be an assumption from chefs (no offense) that people who flash their devices are basically learned people already.
What about the noobs (like me, at least on Android)?
It was never like this during the WinMo times.
Just a thought.

JJ, can you also include in your rom HTC Beats? There is a huge difference when listening to music using a stock rom. ROMs like CM and MIUI are the best when listening to music compared to stock roms even if you have Equalizer and PowerAmp apps.
Putting this through its paces at the minute impressed with everything apart from the app drawer transitions effects (which I can prob turn off) apart from that all seems well.I also have the black keyboard and the toggle zips installed so kudos to yourself jj and hansip.Very nice and different enough from the stock se to warrant the experience
As for the comment about use google to find instructions for a rom on xda?I wouldnt agree.Its good that the ray forum has a lot of people who are very android/dev savvy, but there are others who are not.

Hi, I'm on ARHD v8 with purexaudio and sense 5 toolbox, then i installed this tweaks without reinstalling any things and without any contradiction (by the way i tested most of the mods not all to see if they work and if there are any contradiction, so i didn't found any), but for your security do a nandroid backup before installing any mod because lesscro didn't made a backup option (reverse option) to the mods in this tweak, but he will add this feature to the next versions.

you must chose CortexA9/15 with NEON driver list (HOX/HOX+ CPU processor) then after reboot you must open the app then driver status to see the following:

Yes you must install it from any custom recovery with "install zip from sd card".
And for your second question what you mean by "the changes are optional or compulsory"?
If you mean that if these mods are reversible or no?, so no they are not reversible so as i mentioned before, did a nandroid backup before any mod.
And lesscro said that in the next update he will added a beta backup option for his tweaks to be able to reverse to previous rom condition.

Ok thanks! I don't like the Sense changes. They Aren't optional really?

I can't get it to work on InsertCoin 5.0.5 nor 5.0.6. Statusbar disappears after flashing and there is no way to open it - same thing happens no matter what I choose in aroma, does not seem to be related to battery icon neither eqs nor dim effect. Anybody with similar issues? Any ideas what I can do to fix it?
And most importantly, is there anyone using this mod on latest InsertCoin without problems?

Let's see, list of the mods I tried to apply:
- Sony X-Reality
- Zero compression render
- 1% stock Battery (white).
- EQS bar in notification bar
- Big photo call ID full 32bits
- Lockscreen Productivity custom option.
- Home Sense 5 desktop custom menu.
- New sense 5 Boot animation (classic with HTC sense 5 text).
- ViPER4Android
- PureXaudio v.2 library .
- Long-Press back key killer .
- Media keys controller
I tried to reflash it few times with different aroma options and it always looks the same - statusbar is gone, unable to open it even through menu button (as Notifications), nothing happens. Also, seems quite a bit more laggy.
I believe you can rule out the dim effect, custom fonts and EQS, as even without touching those (skiping during aroma) the same thing happens.
I'm also using centered clock and hidden battery icon in IC - those mods are integrated in the rom. I thought this might cause a problem, but I tried to reflash IC 5.0-6 with battery icon visible, then flash your mod again - didn't help so I think we can rule this out as well.

Yes, I believe it's just the framework mods that do not work. Viper and other app-related mods work fine even for me, although the phone is still pretty much unusable due to missing statusbar lol.
As I said, I'm using centered clock and hidden battery icon from IC's aroma - but I realized it might be a problem and flashed 5.0-6 without those checked, same problem remains. And it happens even when I flash the mod without touching EQS nor adding the dim effect, so it seems like the problem is not linked to those after all.

I am on InsertCoin 5.0-6
I installed this MOD everything except APM( which comes along with the Insertcoin) works.....

I haven't choose the center clock nor the remove battery completely while the installation of Insertcoin.....
only APM is broken....
the volume wake doesn't work in the Volume wake tweak....
Use volume button as media button option choose the last option "Volume up/Volume down to wake the device" that will sort the volume wake tweak....

Okay, so basically without the centered clock applied, mods white battery and EQS work fine on IC and do not cause the statusbar to disappear?
Pretty strange, I ran a clean install to try it and it still does not seem to work for me - no matter what I choose, statusbar always disappears and rom gets laggy a little. I will do it once again, but this time without the centered clock. I have tried everything else already. Also my IC does not come with APM, lol - are you sure the APM is there?

About Mods
This ROM will keep Stock look with useful mods and tweaks for speed & battery performance. We added mods like Advanced Power Menu, Battery % and Clear All Recent Button because these are the ones We need, we don't need more, so this is KitKat the way should be, for us, so don't ask to remove mods or something like this. If You want some other MODs please use some Xposed Module.
About ART runtime
Art is a WIP and still an experimental feature inside KK, and I don't know if You will notice any advantage (IMHO) in terms of performance and battery life. Xposed is not compatible with ART runtime, so If You
enable it You won't be able to add advanced mods to the Rom.
Next Android release will have default & 100% working ART runtime and also Xposed will be compatible! So, enjoy Dalvik, enjoy GravityBox ... enjoy

fixed kitkat v1 release
There are numerous optimizations baked into this Rom that i have created myself, these performance modifications and battery modifications are present my Unitato Rom.
The Optimizations basically reduce the cpu load of applications optimized and also reduce their ram footprint, in turn reducing resources required to power the pre-installed applications, however user-installed apps dont inherit this optimization process as it would require me getting hold of all the libs and the apk, then i would proceed to modify them under a linux environment.
If you have any issues with Surface flinger acting weird (low fps, lags) please clear the Settings (only acts weird in Settings) apk cache. This is the only side-effect of these modifications, However the only Roms i have seen to get these issues are CM based Roms, so don't worry too much, but if you do find any, report to me or Enricocid or Ivn888, then i will patch this in the next update, however the settings will loose optimizations...,

Very very fast and smooth. Is there a way to activate 3 button menu? Not a deal breaker, I just like it but prefer not to mod with exposed. This ROM screams stability.

Flashed a few minutes after you released. On a side note, the AOSP browser, it doesn't sync mobile bookmarks, but only desktop bookmarks. The Find button on it is also known as something else like " Change Mode ". I forgot, sorry.

For select your CSC,download Phone info via Playstore thanks @vndnguyen for this amazing app http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-edge/themes-apps/phone-info-samsung-key-info-csc-t2940846
In left in top,select other tool and change CSC. Select what you want but BE CAREFUL,it will wipe your data.

It's first release,so now, stock for the moment.Only stock with permissive Selinux and support multi variant
In the next release,more settings :good:

So everyone has to flash 5.1.1 stock or only G version people?

I can't changed the csc.i try to change to ilo through the Samsung phone info 3 time.every time the phone stay on fra csc.

I dont know. this rom and kernel is ready but you need to have 5.1.1 bootloader. Try to flash stock and if ODIN can flash it,it's ok

Do you have TWRP recovery or CWM ?? Or try with Samsung galaxy S/S2.... app in playstore. Use it in root mode and try

Twrp recovery.
Is It only me who have trouble with WiFi on 5ghz it don't show up in the list and I know I have one to connect to
S/s2 app partly solved the problem.now active csc is ilo/xef.
Another thing:how to return the recent key to original action to go to recent app?

Perfect. It's OK. Dont worry abour xef,it's normal,i haved tweak csc for more settings ( browser,message,etc...) [emoji6]

hey i've been reading an wanting a rom for my note edge for the longest while
an feel so jealous of the other variants getting and having all the fun...
yes my model is the n915w8 running 5.1.1.... dev could u please or wen u have time look into having your rom be compatible
