Shortcut for Equalizer - Sony Xperia Z Ultra

how can I get a shortcut for the equalizer on my homescreen. The closest I am able to get to it is a custom shortcut that points to sound enhancements... so 2 clicks to get to the eq but its 1 more click then I want. Has anyone made a shortcut that goes directly to the eq
EDIT: found it under activities sound enhancement in case anyone else might want a shortcut for their eq on there homescreen

Ringtone/Notification volume?

Is there a way to make the ringtone and notification tone the same volume without doing them individually?
no there isnt, well to my knowledge, but you could try audiomanager and just put it on the homescreen as a widget, so its right there when you need it and you dont have to go thru the menu to get to the notification volume.

Faster to way to adjust sounds?

Hi guys,
Is there a faster way to pull up the volume levels of the phone without going settings -> audio -> and then selecting it.
I want to be able to change text message sounds, etc at night when it gets quieter. thanks

Silent mode widget toggle? It'd take up a 1x1 spot on your homescreen and would allow you to quickly change profiles. I use one I created from Widgetsoid, but any of them on the market should work.
Audio manager is a free app that lets you adjust the volume of every mode independently. Gives you a nice widget too.

hmm ill look around but wouldnt that make everything completely silent? i just want to turn it down
I have the pro version and you can adjust everyting as loud or quiet as you want. I assume the free version does as well. Download it and see. If it's not what you want, uninstall it.

Unified audio controls for music apps?

I was a long time ios user that bought the galaxy note, and my biggest issue is controlling music apps.
On the iphone from the lockscreen regardless of what app I'm playing from (spotify, stitcher, ipod, whatever) I could easilly pause and play whatever I'm listening to from one interface.
I haven't found a way to do this with my Note. What I've resorted to doing is having a seperate spotify app widget, and a stitcher app widget, and an audible widget on my lockscreen so I can pause and play each of them pending on what I was listening to.
Please tell me there is a way around this.
Most of the good music apps have a setting to place controls on the lockscreen. Look in the apps settings.
beats audio
you should put beats audio on your phone

Yeah, thats what I have, but thats what I'm trying to avoid (having individual apps having lock screen controls). So on my lockscreen now I have A widget for stitcher, spotify, and audible. I was hoping to have one thing that allows me to pause/play what I'm listening to like I can on an ios device.

Sorry. I guess I wasn't really clear in my post. You don't need the widgets or icons in the lockscreen. Just go to the application and there "should" be a setting to allow the player in the lockscreen. Then, when you are playing something it will show in the lockscreen. But only while it is playing. Otherwise it is hidden, not visible. This works for my Poweramp app. I don't have the apps you listed so I can't get any more specific than this. Hope it helps.
Found the app Media Buttons
Does exactly what I needed. Now I can pause music from any app without having to think about whats playing.

How to extend SMS notifications and all notifications by own sounds?

Hello how can I extend the sounds offer of builtin sound selector by own sounds?
For ringtones copying to /sdcard/ringtones or /sdcard/media/audio/ringtones is working pretty fine, but for SMSs and various notifications the offer is still limited to builtin sounds only. Don't know where should I copy my own sounds so they could be covered in that file listing,
Both /system/media/audio/notifications and /mnt/sdcard/media/audio/notifications don't make any recognition (
As an alternative to this I'd accept an 3rd party audio picker able to browse any sdcard locations and select any of supported formats. The condition however is so that it could play a sound immediately after selecting just like builtin picker does...THX
Go settings sound and puck notification ringtone when its open nitification sounds just press a little icon in upper right corner
Sent from my ST25i using xda app-developers app
didnot know that, thanks:victory:

[GUIDE] Tweak Dolby Atmos to your liking

To access the Dolby Atmos app you need to install any 3rd party app that has an Equalizer option included. I use Google Play music for this and you can access the EQ in the settings menu.
A popup will appear that will ask you to choose Dolby Atmos or Included EQ app -> choose Dolby Atmos and voila the full app window opens.
Now, to tweak the sound you can activate it first in the top left corner via power icon and then you can enter any of the predefined profiles by tapping on them( Movie, Music, Game... ) and proceed to tweak it to your liking.
See the attached images below
I boosted the volume and the quality on my newly arrived Le Max 2 this way. I am running a STOCK Chinese firmware 16s version.
