Whatever wallpaper i choose it doesn't fit exactly in the image.. what is the resolution advised for the image to exactly fit?
Sorry for late reply,the images are of 1440x1280 dimension,you can't use them on a single homescreen,for that you have to use third party apps like:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.twistedapps.wallpaperwizardrii&hl=en
After install go to gallery,select set as for an image->select wallpaper wizardrii->select set->preview->select stretch portrait->Done.
Also note that the wallpapers are made for multiscreens,so setting the whole to a single screen might not look good,but you can go for it if you want.

I've created some wallpapers for the Mate Xs which can work seamlessly while folded and unfolded.
Thought of sharing with the community for ideas and better support.
Apply the wallpaper from Settings - While the phone is unfolded (Open) for best results.
I have shared an example below. Download link is below the image (Mediafire Link - as the Photos were too large to upload here).
