[Q] Looking for OVERLAY camera app. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all,
I searched already in the different posts and threads but didn't found where i looking for.
I need a camera app to make a picture over an other picture.
The thing is, i have some old pictures from my hometown, the are realy good, and now i want to make lets say History/Present pictures.
So i want to make pictures with the same angel and distance to make an overlay from the present (for example) house.
So in the background of the screen should be the OLD picture, so i can find the right angle and distance and then make the new picture.
Here an link for an Example
I hope somebody can help me with this

Camera Settings

I was wondering if someone could post a quick tutorial on picture taking with the vibrant. For example: ISO, Metering, etc...
I saw some pretty cool pictures taken with the vibrant and I'm interested in taking pictures now.
Easiest way for beginners is use the Scene settings. Other than that just play around with the settings and see what works best for you.

[Q] Cyanogenmod 10 camera field of view

Hi. I'm using cyanogenmod 10 for almost 3 weeks . The camera which came with cm10 is showing less field what actually is.
Are the photos it saves a normal field of view? In other words is the problem only with the view in the camera app or is it with the saved photos too
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
This picture is shown in the gallery. You can see my printer is in view. (left side)
Also you can see the light switch(left side) is in the view
For second picture,
But in this picture you can't see my printer and my light switch.
I didn't move the camera btw just took a screenshot then pressed the capture
Any ideas?

I believe this is done because of the aspect ratio of your screen and the photos your camera takes. If the photo fov were to be used in the camera, there would be black bars in the camera app. You can try using another camera app from the play store to fix this.

I'm sorry. I didn't know that . Do I have to use 3rd party camera apps. Or can developers fix this problem in next updates. And can you advise me a good 3rd party app. Thanks for your help.
Do you have photo stabilization by any chance? That does reduce the fov.
No I don't have photo stabilization.
Try an app in the store called "lg camera" from memory that's the name. It has black bars which is what you want
NO no no this is not that I wanted. Actualy when I take photos with my friends they can't be seen before shooting.so sometimes they seen out of the fov but when I take photos they are in the fov. I don't want black bars or something. I mean I want to take a photo which looks exactly same in the preview.my post which has an attachment will show my problem.

photo sphere and tiny planet

hi just wondering if theres an option to make photo sphere as tiny planet. i took a surrond shot completing all unfortunately at gallery theres is no option to make it tiny planet. can some one help thanks
I was looking for this too -- I hear that it's no longer available and to use Google Camera. Unfortunately, I cannot create a tiny planet using Google Camera from photospheres I already took with my s6 camera. Still researching though...
edit: I take that back -- I just saw the "create tiny planet" within the Google Camera app, using an existing photosphere!
edit 2: I got 1 tiny planet, but now Google Camera keeps crashing when I try to create another one - even after reboot, un-install/install.

Having a background color activated WHILE taking a photo? - Android Studio

Greetings everyone!
I'm trying to make an app as part of a project of mine where I need to illuminate the object I'm taking a picture of (front camera) with different colours, provided by the screen itself. I'm new to android programming and so far have only been able to access the camera (the one in the back, since from my research it is not possible through intent to access the one in the front automatically), take a picture of it and show it.
While taking a picture I need different colours illuminating it. I've heard that this is possible in iOS with some versions of snapchat, which creates a "simulated" flash, illuminating the front screen in white. How could I manipulate this to get other colours?
I am experimenting on a Sony E4 dualsim, which is version 4.4.4. Don't know if that makes any difference at all... Would it also be easier to do it with iOS? Unfortunantely I do not have access to one, but this is a mandatory part of my project, so might be able to get some money to invest in a phone!
Thank you!
