[Q] Xperia Sola and Online TV Play Picture Really Bad!!! - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi everyone,
I have xperia Sola mt27i, I have installed online tv on it, but the picture of playback is not good, it seems like pixels are away from each other neighbor, where I have tried that on S4 Clone and S4 original and picture are very good. my question is. how do I can increase the picture quality for this app. I have tried many things to improve it such as; codec ARM7 neon and mx player with no luck. also tried to enable h/w acceleration and it doesn't help too.
app called: Arabic Channels TV. from google play.
please if anyone have any method let me know.
Main rom now is ICS 4.0.4 original firmware (ROOTED). also tried on other ROMS eg WOLF V1.2 and V2 Same result.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards
MEDO

[Q] Stock Video Player missing

Hi everyone,
Just picked up a brand new Plum/Purple S5830 Ace for the wife and for some strange and bizarre reason it hasn't got a stock video player... is this right?!
I've tried loads of different FW's (up to 2.3.5) and it's still not there, even after a format/wipe etc..
Does anyone have the stock apk from/for the Ace please? Would be gratefully appreciated, thank you.
(I know there are others in the market, but I like the simplicity of the stock player)
Thanks again,
Thanks for looking, but guess this phone doesn't ship with a stock video player. Shame
We get only gallary not any specific video player app
so use gallary or any good from market

If these videos are HQ videos, then the problem is caused by the lack of OMX codecs for your device (armV6 on ICS lacks these codecs).

Thx for your earlier reply. So how can i upgrade that code or any solution for that?
the lag is because hq videos use divx codecs which is found on higher end phones........no way of upgrading it....google search for supported codecs for your device.it will be in spec list...then convert it the res supported by your device(also found in spec list) it will 320x240 like this....and choose your device's codecs using format factory or any other video converters...copy it to your device and enjoy

Qualcomm has not released the codecs for armV6 instruction set devices running ICS (because of incompatibility), so there is no way to update them.

[Help] Neo - MT15i Serious video playback issues and crashing | Please help

This problem started for the first time around December 2012 and hasn't gone away since.
Here's the description of the problem:
Whenever I play HD videos in youtube they start displaying lots of artifacts, both in fullscreen and normal screen (the attached thumbnails show this problem).
Same thing happens when I watch HD videos using the stock player, although with less intensity.
If I continue watching the videos for a few minutes the phone will just reboot by itself.
It happens with any video that is HQ (possibly some problem with H264?).
It also happens with 3rd party video players.
And here's what doesn't make the problem occur:
None of the above problems happen when I downgrade to Gingerbread.
ICS - Play the videos ok in youtube with HQ option disabled.
ICS - Play ok non HQ videos with the stock player.
This is what I have already tried since then:
Full formats, resets, repairs and wipes.
Use different firmware versions.
Use original stock branded firmware via official updates.
GPU rendering off and on.
Adobe flash player uninstalls and updates.
Ugraded and downgraded youtube.
With and without root.
Installed newer Adreno 205 drivers.
Use safe mode.
My current phone specs:
Xperia Neo MT15i
Android 4.0.4
FTF 4.1.B.0.587
Kernel 2.6.32.9-perf
Operator TMN PT
Locked Bootloader
Rooted

I really need your help, I have been trying to fix this for almost a year now and I still haven't found anything anywhere that could fix this and I can't stand Gingerbread. I want to use ICS without having these problems whenever I try to play HQ videos, hope that someone here can give me a hand with this, please.

[Q] Prestigio MultiPad 2 Pro Duo 7.0

Hello everyone!
Can somebody help me solve this problem?
I have a brand new Prestigio MultiPad 2 Pro Duo 7.0 and they say it can play smoothly 1080p, but, my tablet, when playing in H/W mode has a "TSHHH" sound, a static sound, very loud, that is repeating each and very second - image being crystal clear. I tried in 720p and the sound is still there - image ok. With stock player, Mx Player, BSPlayer, VLC, is the same. If going with S/W decoder the sound is ok but the image becomes (of course) laggy and dropping frames. Tried mkv, avi, mp4, same thing. And the audio seems to me that's very low on all applications (music, video, etc).
Thank you very much in advance.

Another important question: how to root the Prestigio Mulltipad 2 Pro Duo 7.0? Anyone got a solution yet?
Have you tried Kingo Root? Be careful that by rooting you'll lose the warranty and I couldn't find (yet) an official rom to install in case I need to send the tablet to service. Btw, is yours playing HD?
Maybe this can help you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2063650

Thanks for the infos. In the meantime did i som research and i was able to get my device rooted via Vroot. I found it on a chinese site: http://www.mgyun.com/vroot
By the way, after rooting the device the boot time after powering on increased a lot, recently it takes up to 4 minutes (horrible), but after booted in, the device is working flawless. With Rom Toolbox Pro i was able to delete all the innecessary stuff (bloatware) from the factory rom too.
Yes, my device is able to play hd and full hd videos, i'm using the app MX Player for that.
Mine isn't playing correctly when sound is AC3. I'm surprised yours does it. Thank you, I'll keep trying.
