Flashlight question - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

On my old Motorola photon Q 4g, I could use the flash as a light. With this phone it lights the screen as the light. Using flashlight fun (free version). Are there any flashlight apps that use the camera flash as the light source?

This is the app I've used for years on all my phones.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devuni.flashlight

Download apex launcher, long press screen, add shortcut, activity, scroll down to settings, look for torch or flash light option, select it, press the shortcut, enable the feature.
Now whenever your screen is off hold in the volume button and you have a flashlight

Thanks for the help. Went with tiny flashlight

What's the best flashlight app for the atrix that utilizes the dual led flash for the camera?

I use extended controls and it had a widget that you can add a button for light. Uses both led's
Wish we could get the htc one though. It had 3 power settings. Was awesome.

Try this one. It is from Motorola and is compatible with the Atrix:

The best part, it's free. Extended Controls does work but it costs money.
This one is what I am using and it works perfect.

Brightest Flashlight free.
Moto Droid light works well, and is quite bright. Unfortunately it also has a tendency to crash or lock the camera if the screen locks while it is running.

I use "LED Light" and it has a sweet widget for quick access. It's been a life saver at times!
I'm using Moto Droid Light

Not perfect, it has a lag time for turning the LED on or off whereas DroidLight, for example, is instantaneous. The lag time isn't even consistent and the screen doesn't indicate the change at the same time. Happily replaced that app with DroidLight thanks to this thread.
On a side note, DroidLight doesn't let you leave the LED on and do other things... the light turns off once you leave the app screen.
try this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=droid.pr.coolflashlightfree

I'm using "Notifications Toggle". It's as close as what we're looking for but well, it works.

If you mean, that you want to use the flash as a flashlight, search for flashlight in playstore and download an app, there are much flashlight apps!

Flashlight Issue

Does any one have a problem when after using a flashlight, trying to go to the recents menu by holding down the home button does not work? Like it does not pop up or is slow to pop up? Also, it makes the keyboard in the messaging app inoperable.
The way I fix it is by either rebooting the phone or by opening the camera app. Some how the camera app fixes it, which I don't know how.

Is there a way to disable Touch Wiz Quick Settings?

I'm on a rooted 4.3 ROM. I mostly don't mind Touch Wiz, but I hate the quick settings in the notification drawer. Too big, ugly icons, text I don't need, etc.
I'd be happier with a 3rd party toggle program, like Power Toggles, if I could just disable the built in ones.
Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks!
