Hi all guys!
I hope i'm writing in the right place...
I have bought last week an HiSense U-970... it's truly powerful althoug it isn't one of the most known brand... i have payed it only 180€.
It has android 4.2.1 with the last updating...
I'm afraid that will not be updated so many times in the future... i think that i can hope just in android 4.3.. not more.. so i would like to install CWM to have ROMs every time updated...
but are there any ROMs ready for it??
i don't know so much about modding so i don't know if i can use other existing ROMs

Before I start i'd like to give props to kiyo75, Thanks man.
Anyways he posted the stock jellybean firmware for the international versions of the phone on an Italian forum...saved my life.
Here is the link that i managed to back up for anyone who messes their phone up:

To install it you basically need two things:
1. Usb Vcom driver (SP_Drivers) found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2206421
2. SP_Flash_Tool found here: http://mtk2000.ucoz.ru/bb/?8379
Note: Windows 8 drivers (Also works for windows 7) can be found here: (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f457/all-mtk-usb-driver-2013_by-gsm-hoque-1670880/)
1. Install the Vcom driver (SP or smartphone driver)
2. restart PC
3. extract the zip file(201308272146_HS-U970_W813.6.02.02.ES00_Revsion5222_export_user.zip)
4.. open the SP flash tool
5. click on file-->open scatter-loading file--->navigate to the folder with the rom files(201308272146_HS-U970_W813.6.02.02.ES00_Revsion5222_export_user)
6. Choose the file MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc
7. Now remove the battery from your phone
8. connect it to the computer MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING A GOOD USB CABLE
9. once the phone is detected press the Download button in the sp flash tool
10. wait till it finishes and a green circle to pop up
11. All done

Hey guys,
this won't be a big a tutorial, since it's already described generally how to make manually updates on MIUI.
So here is the solution for those with the "problem" getting away from 10.0.3 without downgrading to 10.0.2 :
Probably most of you already downloaded the update in their Mi8 phones, right?
Open the file manager, go to the file and rename it to something simple like "update.zip".
That's all folks. After this simple step my phone took the update and now I am on the latest global stable pie.
I hope more of us wilp get the hands on the new update!

Yes, it works. From the updater. It brings you to twrp and it does its thing. After booting it will take you back again then just flash dmverity.zip and it should boot normally.

Do you mean to just rename the 10.1.1 file to "update.zip" and install it through the updater while on 10.0.3 ?
Also are there any bugs on 10.1.1 that don't exist on 10.0.3?
I mean is it actually better than 10.0.3 in any way? Does it worth the upgrade??

Yes, from reports on spanish forum I confirm that some users have switched from stable 10.0.3.0 to stable 10.1.1 directly, without problems, using phone updater
Also others users have switched from stable 10.0.3.0 to last beta 8.12.7 directly, without installing 8.9.7 previously.

Hello, Actually it's not required to be renamed as update.zip, I could go to 10.1.1.0 from 10.0.3.0 (global) directly with original file name (locked BL, never rooted)
Is it me or I feel like the colors on this pie rom are much much better ?

Hi, when I connect the mobile to the car with my USB, a message comes saying that I miss install the certificate for motor mirrorlink, but when download starts, I always get the same error, that it's benn not possible to download the certificate.
Can someone send me the violent l correct certificate? I did use previously with same rom the mirrorlink and connected fine without errors, but observe once rooted I have this issue.
Any help is welcome.

Same here, Galaxy Note 8 with Android Pie. When connecting via USB on Mirrorlink, I get the message that Mirrorlink needs to download the certificate, but can't (error message cannot download certificate).
Any solution?

I'm root, but with last version of android 8 rooted, I could full mirrorlink, just since last update and root I received this message of download the mirrorlink certificate.

Same thing here.
Got s9+ snapdragon, Android Q, rooted, with the same issue.
When I had a rooted pie, same problem, then flashed with stock (old security patch) and it worked again.
Can't remember after which security patch stopped working, even on stock firmware.
Maybe it reads the Knox flag.
I've been searching someway to enable magisk hide when installing it on TWRP (no luck there) as I think (hope) MirrorLink might depend on one of Samsung's services that flag the phone as rooted.
Anyway, I still have my fingers crossed for a solution.

I finally did all the setup and have the latest version of Xiaomi EU stable rom. I will share the steps below.
1 - You need to unlock your phone. I follow these instructions. Note: You may have to wait some hours after your first try to unlock your phone. (Be patient) :cyclops:
2 - Download latest version of stable rom for "xiaomi.eu_multi_HM8A" here
3 - Install the recovery TWRP or Orangefox. In my case(MIUI 11 Global - Unlocked International Version - 32gb/2gb) The touch screen in TWRP didn't work (You can connect a cabled mouse to use), so I used the Orangefox
4 - Open recovery with system write permission and format data in the option that you need to type "yes". In Oragefox it is in the third tab in manage partitions menu > select data > presse format button and type yes
5 - Move/copy the downloaded rom to your phone via windows explorer
6 - Flash latest Xiaomi EU rom
7 - Reboot into system
If you want root your rom, please follow #2 of these instructions.

If you can't open Google Play Store due to lack of launcher the alternative way is to download any launcher from apkmirror.com or any other website you trusted from your PC or another phone. After that put the apk launcher file in micro SD Card. Put the micro SD Card in your xiaomi EU ROM phone. In status bar will show notification for the micro SD card you already put. Just click the notification and the file manger automatically will open from there you can find the apk launcher file and install it.

Amigo que tal buenas noches, Yo tengo el Redmi 8A tambien y me pasaba lo mismo con la 11.0.8 baje a la 11.0.3 y me andubo perfecto luego pase a la 11.0.7 y lo siento mas fluido aunque algunas apps como que no son compatibles no entiendo el porque tambien la instalador de paquetes cambio quiza sea por eso, por cierto salio la 11.0.9 el dia de ayer quiza ya corrigieron ese problema si lo puedes probar y comentarnos seria excelente :good:

Then those are downloaded with the adb tools, from the android ask. One plus drivers aren't necessary if your just using adb and fastboot. The OnePlus driver's let's your computer read it for transferring files and stuff.
Fastboot and adb are universal and the latest versions are all compatible with windows 11

I am getting this error in device manager which is causing fastboot to not work
I downloaded the drivers from here https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb
but they are not solving it either.
Those are not correct that doesn't have adb or fastboot.

I don't know French, but every Samsung I've had does not have fastboot mode, only download mode since they modified the boot chain.
