White balance for Ultra - Sony Xperia Z Ultra

This post is for root users.
First yourselves a nandroid backup or mobile as it fails and gets caught, but it seems weird to XZT and I put it off and nothing happens.
Are files to be added and that's it.
It is about putting the white balance setting of XZ, which leads to our Ultra Series. It is in settings - screen.
I descargáis the zip and unzip, ye will a folder containing 3 more, and each have a different file to system folders.
https://mega.co.nz/#!Zhg0WILA!V-0Ii8qBj1Tmpdqnrjqq9rrCAfcjcdQ2-m3TjzcNejA
The name of each folder is the path where you have to copy each file that is inside. I mean the names of folders and subfolders where each file goes.
Then reboot and go in settings / display setting white balance should appear.
A greeting.

I tried with 3G and 471 does not work, unfortunately the process was stopped, but if it appears in fits and does not prove any problem, the poster will appear when you give the application but no.

Sure it's all good but your translation is off by a margin so can't understand what you're trying to say.

Hmm, i believe he's trying to say that this is the white balance tool from the Xperia Z.
- Download the zip
- The zip contains 3 different folders
- Move the files to the same directories as the folders are named
- Reboot
I have no idea what he's trying to say in the second post, though

He would like to have the white balance setting of the Z in the Ultra because he doesn't like its white.
He tried to do it but didn't succeed, anyone can help?

Only thing I can think is were the permissions set after copying files, my guess would be rw-r-r

No work setting targets Z, I've tried.
Thank you all for the answers.:good:

you can go to the z1 forum and get the whitebalance zip from there and flash it. it works perfectly.

[Q] Das BAMF Notification Widgets

I can't get the notification widgets to change. I have changed the widget.txt file in system, customize to be:
toggleWifi|toggleGPS|toggleBrightness|toggleFlashlight
but I have GPS, Wifi, Bluetooth, Data, Flashlight, sound in the pull down. I have rebooted many times but it is still not changing to what it should be. Is there another way to force this?
I'm not extremely sure, but I think you have to have the same amount of widgets in the text file as you original have which in this case would be six. You currently stated having made a text file with four, try adding two more toggles.
Hope this helps.

It worked with the same .txt file when I was on BAMF 1.4
I had the permissions set wrong, they should be set to rw-r--r--. That fixed it.
I'm glad you got it fixed.

Can you confirm that you don't need EXACTLY six widgets?
I managed to bork my phone this morning by trying to add a seventh widget and it wouldn't boot fully.
I didn't think to check the permissions after editing with root explorer, but got the phone up and running again by using adb to push back the original widgets.txt while in clockwork.
I then edited it again to have just six and deleted one of the "stock" ones by replacing it with the AutoRotate one. Phone booted fine.
Interestingly, my permissions on the file are rw-rw-rw- so I'm curious what the permissions are that kept you from changing. No problems booting, either, huh?

You can have less than 6, but I've never tried more. Maybe you can't.

working sync SE Xperia Arc Media-Time scape update(13/10/2011)

Download The .zip below
flash it using clockworkMod or Mistadman Recovery

And enjoy the real Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc time scape and media scape UI
on your Dell Streak.
now with working flashable zip
working Facebook twitter sync

Going to test it, thanks.
Flashed it but does not appear anywhere.
I dont know, sounds like a fake to me. Can someone please confirm?
Not fake. Installed without flashing, just decompressed archive and install apps one by one. Works fast, but its just another launcher ideea.
Wow I thought it was a fake but...it's not and it's incredible! It's working so fast!
Thank you so much for making my phone look beautiful!
EDIT: Trying to install with Clockworkmod does not work. Everytime I try to flash the zip file it says some ''error 6: installation aborted''
Nice. Too bad it doesn't fit the entirety of the screen tho. bottom half and right-hand side of the screen are unusable.
Bet it would work awesome on a smaller res phone. Ill have to check it out on my aria. Ill put it on there when my girl gets back from school. Someone stole her phone so she's got it for the time being.

Can you please post full instructions on how to set the lcd density on the Dell Streak? I want full screen on it.
Because this looks really well made and I would gladly use it if it wouldn't be only half of the screen.

EDIT: Install an app for the LCD Density from the Market and set it to 240, now my Streak won't boot up.

EDIT 3 (lol) : Tried the app again and it worked but looks even worse lol.

I've had the same error.
Solution: Open up the zip file you downloaded, and go into the system folder. There you will see the ''app'' folder. Open that and in that folder you've got APK files. Put these files into your SD card and install them using Astro File Manager.
hey if you have the root explorer then copy the build.prop from zip to system folder.
if not search google for free root xplorer

Hi.
Have been reading in t I have upgraded my Xperia S to 4.04CH, and it is a joy.
However, google / Sony have not optimized the usage of the screen of the smartphone, so the number of icons & apps available on every screen is limited.
Is there any way, that one coul "rearrange" the icons and free space on the different screens.
To illustrate i have taken a couple of screenshots.
Yellow boxes are items that ought to be moved
White boxes are umused areas that could be brought to use.
Anyone have any idea of how to do the above ?
Furthermore - is there a way, to get the phone to display a number 0-99/100 instead of the battery icon ?
Hope you have got some ideas
Thanks

you have to have root (and recovery is essential as well if you don't know how to use adb) and modify system files to achieve that. look in the Themes & Apps section, someone has already done that and made the flashable zips available for download.
regarding the home screen issue, again, you have to modify the apk file itself; edit the layout then rebuild the apk and flash/push it back to you phone. there's also a modded home screen app in the Themes & Apps section, though i haven't check what has been changed, so take a looky there.

As far as battery icon goes, il take the question further and ask: does the uot kitchen work with sxs files?

Droid turbo command center widget

I extracted the command center widget from my droid turbo for use on my new moto x. The zip contains the apk and odex.apk. use a file browser and place them both in system/app folder. Change permissions on the apk file to 0777. To get it to fit properly on stock launcher you must have xposed installed and use xposed gel settings. In home screen change width to -2 and widget will fit properly. If you're using a third party launcher it should fit fine.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/qhe2hgcf4xg9p1j/commandcenter.zip?dl=0
So this won't work without root?
Nope. Tried to install like a normal apk. No luck @sthpaw01
damn you verizon!
just thinking will this work on non rooted motox if i deodex the app

Looks cool! Thanks for sharing!
It is my understanding that 0777 translates to rwx rwx rwx. After copying the apk and odex files to system/app and changing permissions for the apk file, it still refuses to install on my rooted xt1092. Am I doing something wrong? I'm quite the noob when it comes to setting permissions, so I won't be surprised if I've messed up at that step.

No dice. Didn't even work on the google launcher. You sure all you did was adjust the width margins? I don't see how that would physically shrink the widget.

It didn't shrink the widget it just made room for the widget to fit on the screen I haven't had time to try to decompile and resize the widgets manually I will when I get a chance here's a picture to show that it will that when adjusting the margins

On mine, it's not the margins that's cutting off the sides, it's that the widget is physically too big for the screen. See my screenshot. Are you sure you haven't done anything else prior that would affect it? Like changing your DPI or something? The widget looks smaller on yours than it does mine.

Nope that's all I did. I tried resizing it first but couldn't get it to take. After taking margins to -2 it just barely fits

[Update-Newer version] Moto X Camera app for Xperia SP

Update- Upon further investigation I found a newer version on XDA. I am attaching a flashable zip in the post. Thanks to this guy - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52153586&postcount=306
IMP - By default the app takes pictures in 5MP resolution. If you want to take pictures in 8MP resolution, just disable 16:9 mode in settings.
Just like all other Xperia SP users, I was completely dissappointed with the phone's horrible camera. Upon further investigation I realised that the issue was due to the unpolished and half-baked stock camera app and therefore some users posted Xperia M's camera app which performed better.
After some little searching on the internet, I found Moto X's camera apk.
The app does wonders on our device and performs better than Stock camera or google camera app, especially in terms of auto-focus department.
So, I suggest everyone to try it out. I am attaching the apk to the post.
Works on stock as well as custom ROMS.
NOTE - Produces great results while taking pictures of 'texts and documents' where stock app fails terribly.
Bugs - Not all features are working (eg HDR mode). But the app does a pretty decent job.
Work's also with Stock Roms.

I guess you used the apk. The apk and zip versions are different. Its been a while since I changed any roms so I don't remember whether I flashed some other app to enable extra settings. I have 2-3 different versions lying on my laptop. Try the flashable zip version and see if the ladybug icon appears.
