[ROM][P601][KitKat-4.4.2][ZCUCNE2][Aroma]CraftWorks v2.0[2014/06/13] - Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) Android Developmen

This ROM is for the SM-P601 (Wifi+3G) tablet.
It is a NON-WIPE ROM, although I STRONGLY suggest you to a factory reset before installing.

(change /system/media/bootanimation.zip if you want a new one - perms 644)
(if want stock, delete /system/bin/bootanimation and rename /system/bin/bootanimation.bak to bootanimation)
NOTE: I tried to include more languages as the ROM only came with English, Chinese and Korean. After 1st boot and during initial install, better to stay with English then after install is finished change language in settings. I am not sure if I included all the language files or not. I tried my best to find and include them.

Aside from the above, the ROM is stock. This ROM has only been tested with TWRP 2.6.3.3
Notes about 1% battery icons.
When the ROM starts is will be using the default 1% battery icons. These are are designed for mobile phones not tablets.
I changed the AOSP Circle battery icon size to fit the Note 10.1; the others have not been changed yet.
I will change them later this week so you will have more choices. The one I did change is white to match the existing
statusbar icons.
To change the battery icons, tap on the battery 3 times. You will get a menu with 2 options: Settings and Style.
Under Style, select the icons you want to use (ASOP Circle is only one large enough so far), the under Settings, select
how you want the icon display to look. You may have to use your pen stylus if your fingers are too big like mine are.

Will add more tablet-sized batteries and add access to battery mods to SecSettings.apk later this week.
How to install:
1. reboot into recovery
2. make a backup of current ROM (IMPORTANT)
3. select install from TWRP menu
4. navigate to P601_KK_XXUCND6.zip
5. select zipfile
6. continue with Aroma install
7. will auto reboot at end of install after you acknowledge successful installation.
NOTE: This is a NON-WIPE ROM. It WILL NOT Delete your data. I STRONGLY recommend you do a data backup (Titanium Backup?) and factory reset before installing ROM.

Hi and thanks for your work.... A lot of people have reported better performance with the MK1 firmware. I guess there's no MK1 for us with the sm-p601, right?

Thanks, finally a custom rom for p601 variant, but why haven`t you worked on MJB being the latest .
Downloading now , can you make a clean one with the MJB build ( removing all bloatware )

That would be easy to do, but the only reason I didn't is because what is bloatware to one person is not bloatware to another person. It is pretty easy to remove the bloatware with a file explorer with root access.
MJB has the same changelist as MJA - according to Sammobile.

I am doing this already with the stock one, removed all bloatware.
Can you please upload to any other site, tried 3 times with dropbox, reaching 99.9% & then gives a "network error "

Am uploading to FileFactory but may take some time. Am leaving home for awhile. File will be uploading while I am gone. Will post link when I get back.
Update: Upload to FileFactory failed at 1.3GB. Re-uploading now.

Everything Good
I have used this rom all day and have no problems to report. Everything is working great (gps, 3g, no force closes, etc.).
Now only if Samsung could get off the butt and release the MK1 firmware that everybody says runs a lot more smoother on the P600 and P605.

I did full wipe, flash this rom, and now my device automatically boot only into recovery and not to system . It's sad.
And now I can't restore system from backup. Amazing rom, have no words.

С какой прошивки шился? Какой TWRP использовал? Полагаю косяк скорее в рекавери, это частая проблема с ним, он нестабилен довольно-таки.
In English: which ROM used before? Which TWRP ver used? I think priblem in recovery, cause other users have the similar symptoms with early versions of TWRP.

The only time a bootloop ever happened to me was when I did a complete wipe, including wiping everything in /system. Do not wipe everything in /system.
Just do a data wipe & cache wipe. The ROM install will take care of wiping the /system partition. But you do not have to wipe /data. This is a No-Wipe ROM. It preserves your user-installed programs.
