[ROM] [5.1.1] - AOSP DT2W/S2W - kernel gcc4.8 - bionic/graphite - Liscio Fast Forward - Nexus 5 Android Development

Hi, based on former experience I am happy to present 5.1 Liscio Fast Forward including self-compiled AOSP kernel (with DT2W and S2W). Few other modifications which were carefully chosen. Feel free to post your feature request here but be aware this will always stay as close as possible to stock.
Please flash this with Gapps of your choice. I used SimpleAOSP's.
Downloads and feature list in the second post; and for screenshots, have a look at the third post.
I can not take any responsibility damaging your device or alarm clock which will not come off. If you decide to flash my ROM, you are getting responsible yourself. Have a functioning Nandroid in case something goes wrong.

In other words, App Ops, the permission manager built in some ROM's, only called it app privacy because that's what it's called in Paranoid android

Also I flashed on CWM

Same here. The flash failed immediately in TWRP

Oh, I am sorry to hear. I will check right away. I am running this for quite some time and no issues
Update, flashed the version which I uploaded on a clean install and no issues. I just removed the file on androidfilehost and re-upload..strange to see that the file size shrunk from 165MB to 116MB...I am uploading to MEGA right now
First page download link updated. Have fun and please feedback if working or not.

Hi. I can not check if this works differently on Sprint network. As for Telekom Germany, I would say all is fine. I recommend you just flash and try..

Hi, anybody running this? No feedback can be bad or good means just working as it should. Since I am not having issues so far, I suppose the few of you also got no issues. BTW, feature requests are welcome; not sure if we can implement all but good to have the discussion.

I love it. I've had the DNA since July of this year and I've been around on the forums (don't think I had an account for a while at first) for both DNA and Nexus 7 (grouper) for a while, but this is my first time contributing. Got some free time during my Christmas break from school.

Running smooth. No major hiccups to report. Haven't dug in too deep yet, so don't know if there are any hidden (more like unused features to me) that aren't working as should.
Once this thing gets PIE + other PA goodies it'll be rock solid.

What is NamelessROM?
What is NamelessROM ?

Simple - NamelessROM is opportunity.
An opportunity to have a voice to the development team of the after-market firmware that you run on your device.
The main goal of NamelessROM is to provide quality development for android devices, phones and tablets alike.
NamelessROM developers are available nearly 24/7 and respond to bug reports and feature requests almost instantly.
This availability will allow you, the end-user, to have direct input into exactly what features and functions are included on the firmware that YOU run.
NamelessROM maintains features and functions of several well-known open-source, AOSP-based ROMs, as well as many features of our own. See the screenshots in the 3rd post, and visit our website for more detailed information.
NamelessROM = endless possibilities. Unless you have an iPhone, then you're out of luck.

I've only been running this for a little bit, but so far it looks like exactly what I had been hoping for in an AOSP ROM. Theme support, Slim themed system ui, camera app from CM(?), etc. All the best parts from all of my favorite ROMs rolled into one with a really nice overall look and feel. Definitely worth checking out. The only thing I've been missing from almost all of the AOSP ROMs is support for WatchOn, but I think I'm in the minority

Does this ROM have sd card support? If so, does it need a specific type of partitioning as I'm having issues with ASOP ROMs recognizing my 64 GB sdcard like Gummy and OMNI. Thanks.

Good to see you guys finally got this out :good: I'll probably be flashing this tomorrow, but the build I tested a few days ago ran great so I'm not expecting any problems.
Update, working with my exfat formatted 64GB card just fine thus far, but some of the status bar options aren't sticking. I changed to the text percent for my battery and when I go into some menu screens it switches back to the stock battery icon on it's own. After a few moments it switches back to what i previously selected.

I had this on the initial test build. But I set it the way I wanted and rebooted and it stuck and any other change I made after that stuck as well.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I will monitor it throughout tomorrow, another small thing was the clear all button, I set it for top right and it never shows up even after rebooting. Not a huge deal, I just toggled each option to see it's implementation and noticed it.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
I can't reproduce that but I didnt clean flash the most recent build. So not sure if it's just that build.

New nightly is up.
I flashed this last night because I can't control myself and it runs great.
I have had no issues so far.
I miss the lockscreen notifications from commotio, but I'll run this for the rest of the day to see how it goes.
I'm going to dirty flash todays build now
Thanks to developers
Flashed the new nightly this morning and statusbar seems fine now and hasn't reverted on me all day. However, I still can't see the "clear all" button in the task manager screen. I have toggled it in all four corners and it won't appear at all. Did a few reboots and still no dice. Not a deal breaker, otherwise the ROM is running good.
Anyone else with garbled YouTube?

[MOD][Xposed] Xtended NavBar

Xtended NavBar
Xtended NavBar is an Xposed Framework module that adds an extra functionality to the navigation bar.
Swipe from the edges to change to Music player or Quick settings. Swipe back to show the navigation buttons again.
In the donate version you can also show favorite apps.
Playstore | Xposed Repo
Compatibility:
This module was developed for AOSP based roms. Don't expect it to work on heavily modified non AOSP based roms like Sense, Touchwiz.
Should be compatible with some other navigation bar customization modules.
It's recommended to do a nandroid backup if you're using the app for the first time.

I think you should change description, it's not "Concept video", it's really working! Well done!
Wow! really cool app! works well on my Moto G PA 4.4 RC2
I think a good idea for a panel would be a camera shutter button
Awesome

Great idea, i'll definitely add more stuff in future and this might be one of those things.
Doesn't work on Carbon Rom latest nightly, doesn't even show up, any ideas? Donated too :/
(Wifi is broken on latest nightly too though on Nexus 4 so I wouldn't read too much into that)

Thank you, i will investigate this issue.
well
Awesome work
was planning to make something similar
but you beat me to it
nice work though
Great idea. Like djsubterrain said, doesn't work on carbon ROM. Cant wait till it does though. Any chance you could upload it to the xposed app also?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I've got SlimRom nand backup too, I'll try it on there.
EDIT: Yeah, doesn't work on that either, I think both are based on CM11 though if that makes a difference. Also, I had changed the choice of navigation bar buttons, would that matter?]
I use menu, home, back and long pressing on back brings up recents.
If it helps, My face unlock also didn't show when I disabled the nav bar, when I enabled it again, back came the face unlock.
In other views...I wish xposed would go on the play store and have integration so your choice of modules could be saved under your google account.
I wish this was open source...
I really would like to use this one!
Very cool, nice job! I'm excited to use this.
Edit - ditto on the open source request.

Yes, i will do that.
@fmaster1
any reason why you obfuscate a free xposed module?

Glad to hear it
You've done a better job than what I planned actually. I was going to have a button on the very left of the bar
When you pressed the button the Home button would become Play, Back would become Rewind and so on
When you pressed it again it would turn back
Never even thought if swiping :good:

I was thinking about made it open source and i think i will in a near future.
One idea I had for it to stop accidental swipes would be to pinch to toggle a lock on the present page, good idea?
Well thank you! It's not that I want to copy anything but you know the power of Xposed shouldn't be underrated
Thank you!
thank you very much, works perfectly on my Galaxy S4-i9505 Android 4.4.2
You can add the Spanish language?

I think it's already difficult to open sometimes, so i don't believe this is a problem. I might add this anyways in a future update.

It's gonna be the same as every other AOSP rom.
How is this ROM different from all other AOSP based roms? Same list of working and not working with same words..

Yup,
Working not working issues are device based not ROM based, looks like camera issue might be fixed with the new kernel but you guys let me know.
QuickCircle will likely not be added and should be taken off anyway
Amazing ROM. 4g works camera always is a bit off but hey, there are some good apps on play store. Very smooth with lots of customisation.
Only prob is DPI in nameless settings. Seems to default to 440 when I try the recommended 540. anyway, installed textdroider works fine. I came from AndroidHD 3.3 to this because I love the amount of customisation that AOSP gives. Please devs, don't stop updating and hopefully, CM12 maybe in your sights.

I ask because is based on cyanogenmod and on all aosp based roms (cm11, pa, carbon etc) the mtp mode with win7 not working to me :crying:
Does voip like viber/talkray sound working properly?
Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
No way to add quick circle ?
Those who installed could share screenshots please ?
Not a single issues so far flashed about eight hours ago. So smooth and many many modifications. I love this rom ????? and most important no touchscreen freezin so far. Thank you for this rom!!
I tried installing (rom, then nano-gapps, clean - wiped everything but externel sd), but when I reboot it just brings me back to recovery.
The installation of the rom itself goes suspiciously fast (like 3 seconds). Gapps takes longer. When I look in recovery I see that internal SD has only one directory after flash ("TWRP"). I checked the download of the rom and it seems ok (approx 180mb, I can unzip it with total commander).
Anyone any idea what I am not doing right ?
tnx!
Screencast and mtp mode (like all aosp roms) not working to me

[ROM+KERNEL] Uber CM-12.1---HAMMERHEAD [GCC 4.8 & 5.0]

This is a project that I have been working on for a little while for Bacon. I also have a FLO, and build this ROM for it also when I am bored/have nothing to do. I figured I may as well open a thread for it and see if other users like it. This ROM is compiled w/ Uber 4.8 on the ROM side and Uber 4.9 on the kernel side. I have added a few little optimizations here and there. I will add a feature list a little later. Sorry for the crappy OP. If you have any questions, feel free to @ me in the thread. I will answer anything that I can.
Features Added:
Delta Updates
Reboot/reboot recovery QS tile
Sync QS tile
Doze/Ambient display tile
Heads Up tile
Option for QS tile haptic feedback
Option to show 4 QS tiles per row
Slim's Lockscreen Shortcuts
Slim Custom Doze settings
Call recording for any country
Call recording encoder/format choice
Show each app name during art optimization
Heads Up options
Ability to hide SU status bar icon
Slim Seek Bar

Volume panel timeout
Force expanded notifications
Flip phone to mute/reject call
Option to disable privacy guard notifications
Built with CM's CameraNext inline instead of Camera2
Updated CameraNext from CM12S
LCD density changer
Option to remove data/wifi activity arrows

Im going to stick my neck out here and say Yes...Robbie has always been up to date
All set up now and running pretty sweet..
2 things I notice missing, not of ANY importance but used to having them 1) unable to resize navigation bar and 2) unable to reposition the clear all button.
Nothing major, other than that what a brilliant rom, loving it...

I would like to report one issue with the APN . Upon every reboot my APN changes I.e APN chosen does not stick . Had the similar issue with Euphoria and the Dev switch to stock APN's and all was good then ..
hey guys, how long did the initial boot take? I seem to have been stuck on the cid boot animation for quite some time.

First boot can take quite a while, around 5 minutes, maybe even more, did you clean flash?

@RobbieL811 The ROM works fantastic . Snappy & small CM bugs here and there which can be dealt with . Anyway will Color Control be supported for the stock kernel like in Franco ?
does this rom requires 5.1 bootloader and radio... is it mandatory or not to update them?
